When I cycle through the light stages, when I gets to Code 3 stage the light go on but not the siren. I have to turn the siren on manually. Then I"ll press J to turn all lights and sirens off. When I go through the light stages again, when I get to Code 3 stage the siren doesn't come on. Again I have to manually turn it on. Why is that?

Is there a way to change the division number and maybe the beat number on the skins of your vehicles? I know how to export it in OIV and I guess you could somehow change it in paint or some type of photoshop program. Not sure exactly how though. So many skins have 01 as their division number. I would like to change that to something else.

I remember there being a true/false option in the .ini in some past plugins if you wanted to disable blips. If it's for callout plugins that you installed then check their .ini file. I just looked at LSPDFR settings and I don't see an option for that. I'm sure it can be done but I don't know how to code it.

I think it is Stop the Ped that has those options. Once installed, you press the G key (Default) when you are by a vehicle, you can call for tow truck. Even has the option to call a Large or Small Tow Truck or a Flat Bed. When standing by a dead Ped you can call coroner and they will come out. I guess but I do remember my character had a nice dialog a while back. Then I didn't play it for a while and after some updates something changed the dialog. I almost think it's LSPDFR. I think in 3.0 is where I could change the dialog attitude and he had more pleasant responses.

Yeah, we all used Albo's mods back then but now he has moved on to other stuff and not updating. It's Open Source and updated once but it's still too glitchy. Like you said STP replaces a lot of Albo's stuff. And Ultimate Backup replaces pretty much the rest of Albo's stuff. When STP came out it said TP was required but didn't if that was still true. I guess it's not so I'll be deleting it soon. Only reason I was holding on to it was the custom pullover I use a lot but now there is a mod just for that out. Vehicle door locks I want and EVA plugin does that. Haven't downloaded it yet but it looks like that replaces a few other of Albo's stuff. Only thing I sometimes use it Smart Radio because it's a bit quicker to call for somethings.

My character is always insulting or yelling at peds when you dismiss, tell them something, pressing E to say Hi, ect. When I press M there is a dialog line and it's selected to HI. So where else do you change the way he talks? My a-hole character needs to be taught some manners. I'm tired of him always cussing or insulting everyone.

I think you can use anything but my next choice was tough guy walk. That's what I use. After you go on duty you can change it back to the cop walk and shouldn't have any issues.

A few months ago, I don't know if LSPDFR has corrected the problem, but I had a similar problem. If you are using Cop Walk, forget what it's called but press M and change your walk style. I had Cop Walking Style crash when I would try to go on Duty. Changed it to another walking style and that seemed to fix it. Wasn't a mod problem for me.

I have the LAPD Mega Pack by Osc4ar if that is what you are referring too. I have 2 folders, one for Replacements and the other folder is add ons. You can make a vehicle that is for replacement (Police2 for example) and make it an add on. Basically you just change the 3 file names ( the .ytd .yft and Hi yft or Hi ytd files of the car) to whatever you want (ftuarus for example). There are more steps then that though. You would need to change the vehicles meta, maybe handling line, and something else. And if it's ELS, drop the XML into your ELS folder. There are videos on youtube that explain how to make a vehicle and add on. I think there is an article on here to. I'll see if I can find it. So, Yes, you can make a vehicle that is for a police slot in the game and change the name, and make it an add on vehicle so it doesn't replace any in game vehicles.

I just noticed there are recent updates for both of them (SH and Simple Trainer). If you still want to use both, you could update them and see if that fixes it. Yeah, when you don't play for a while there might be a plugin or 2 or 3 that don't work. I find usually it means they need to be updated or something needs updating. It's a lot to try to explain how to Add-On vehicles. You might read through this first. Replacement Vehicles are not as complicated to install if you want to just change the look of your vehicles. But if you want to add more vehicles, sure, it can be done. But, read through that link. Once you get your vehicles installed then you can go into your main game folder and select lspdfr folder then select the data folder. In those files you can select which vehicles you want to patrol where. You would have to add in your new vehicles in some of those files but you need to install them first. If you install Ultimate Backup, then you can customize your vehicles even more, like call out a Supervisor to your traffic stop. Learning how to properly install the add on vehicles is the first step. I used Albo's DLC Pack to help install my add ons. I'll look for the link. His mod makes it a bit easier to install the vehicles. There are a few videos on youtube that show you how to install them also. When you're on youtube do a search for "GTA V or LSPDFR installing vehicles".

When you install Scripthook it comes with Native Trainer. Most here use Simple Trainer. Does Native Trainer open when you press F3? That is Simple Trainer's default key to open also, so you would get both opening when you press F3 with could be a conflict. I would get rid of native and just use simple unless there is a reason you want to stay with it. To scroll through you use the num pad keys. It's in the ini. of TrainerV in your main game folder. If you can't scroll through the lines with the numpad keys then I'm guessing it's a 2 trainer conflict. Probably just have to select one and delete the other.

I remember when Stop the Ped was on here it said that Traffic Policer is needed. Is that still true? I have TP installed but have 90% of it disabled because of glitches. Any of you running STP without TP? There are a couple things in TP that I still like but now there are other mods for those things so i would like to get rid of TP. I could ask Bejoijo but I thought I would ask you all first.

He plays on a controller so I think he can maintain the speed just by pushing ever so gently and holding that postion. I don't think he has a mod for speed control. I play on keyboard and I use Basic Cruise Control. It's the closest I can get to stop my car jumping while trying to maintain a speed. But I still look like a drunk driver because the steering is the other problem with a keyboard. For the Speedometer, you can show that if you go into Simple Trainer. There is a speedometer you can toggle on/off. I almost think there is speedometer in the GTA V game settings somewhere, maybe under Graphics, can't remember. I don't know if the speedometer Jeff has is one of those.

What do you mean a PD that exists in the game? I turned the Paleto Bay station into an HP station. There is a mod on here where you can change the decals and signs on the Paleto station to an SAHP station with the CHP look. I have jurisdictions+ that makes certain agencies patrol in certain areas. I have somewhat long and boring videos showcasing those 2 mods on youtube. 😄 You can change any station into any agency in LSPDFR. I changed Paleto Bay station so the game sees it as an HP. I can get HP vehicles to spawn at the station but not the Officers in HP uniform. So there is only so much you can do. In a way HP is in the game but only as a motor officer and there is no HP station. So in a way you can make a PD exist in the game. Unless I'm still not understanding what you mean.

I personally prefer the CHP theme for State/HP. That's because I live in California. But that CHP look is all over youtube when players are playing HP. I like the look though. I never really browsed through the others to see what else looks good. So, can't really suggest anything else.

I use Traffic Policer for Custom Pullover ( which I think there is a new mod that is just for that) and vehicle door locks is good so random peds don't come and steal your cruiser when you're out. A couple other small things I use from Traffic Policer but mostly use Stop the Ped. STP has a breathalyzer and Drugalyzer and I disabled those 2 in Traffic Policer by typing None for the modifier and main key. Go to Main GTA folder then click Plugins folder then lspdfr folder and towards the bottom look for Traffic Policer Config Settings file. Open it in notepad or whatever program you can edit it with. Carefully read down the list and change whatever you want. I disabled all the ambient events because of glitches and there are other plugins that have those events anyway.

If you want more than what EUP offers then look here under Downloads and select Character. You would just have to look and see what's there. What's a good uniform I think is a personal preference. What one thinks is good, another might not think to highly of.

I've always wanted to see this updated. This one has problem with lights if I remember. Would me nice to have ELS and non-ELS. I grew up in the 80's and was a fan of the TV show CHiPs so that's how started to like the Monaco.

I had a problem where I had to go into OPen iV and install those 3 things. I forget what the 3 things are and I forget what the problem was for me but I would say, yes, install those 3 things that are in the ASI manager of Open IV. This is a common problem that is usually in the beginning when you are trying to set things up. Problem is that there are a few problems that might be causing it. I can't remember what those problem causers are either. One is to disable your antivirus. That is usually one of the main problems that causes it to crash. I've done manual install also and I hear that is the best way to do it. It is very simply a copy the files from the download and paste into your GTAV game folder.
