  1. If you have Stop the Ped then you aim your gun at the ped and press T. That will mark the ped as a suspect and put a red blip in the map. Then you will be able to call backup and such. It should also work for a driver if a ped is fleeing from you in a vehicle and the game doesn't see ped as a suspect then you can force the game to see that Driver as a suspect. Aim your gun and press T. If you don't use Stop the Ped, there is a mod called Pursuit on the Fly that does the same thing. But a lot of us use STP.
  2. Where you would have some problems is when there is a Rockstar update. The major Rockstar updates the update.rpf, where you have a copy of that in your mods folder. Then your game won't. Open OIV and it will tell you there is a new update.rpf and do you want to copy it to your mods folder. You'll have to do that but then some of your plugins/mods might not work. Your DLC list gets updated so if you have add in those vehicles like Coroner if you have an add on coroner vehicle. I think that's not an issue if you use LML. I still haven't tried LML so I'm not sure of the difference. I use Albo's modding DLC pack for my add on vehicles. But, that is something to keep in mind next time there is a big Rockstar update.
  3. Ok, I'll take a look at that.
  4. I was removing a whole bunch of old outdated mods from the game and I noticed when I get a callout or some type of radio communication from Dispatch (Not Vocal Dispatch) I don't get responses like I used to. Example, I don't respond to a call and you will hear another officer saying they will respond (we're in the coffee shop around the corner). I don't hear little things like that anymore. The only Albo mod I use is Modding DLC , but I still have the download files. In 3 of his mods there are audio file for dispatch response but they are for the specific mod. If I put those files in the LSPDFR/Audio/Scanner would the game find a way to play the audio? I also have a couple other older audio mods that I removed that I think may have contributed to the additional dispatch dialog. I didn't think they were doing anything. I just notice a lot less dispatch or another officer responses after removing those audio files. Removing some of those audio files are because I removed the mod that those files were in. I basically did a reverse install by removing them. Just wondering what you all know about the audio scanner files. I would like to have more responses from dispatch and the responding officers like I used to.
  5. What happens when you change the livery under the unmarked buff? Most likely that just changes the call numbers of the vehicles but it might have the unmarked skin in there. Also, go to the patchday where you put the vehicle and navigate to the vechicle.rpf and open the .ytd (type of file is Texture Dictionary) and see if you see the unmarked vehicle skin in there. On the left side, scroll and you might see something saying Sign_1, Sign_2, ect. That is the outside vehicle texture. If your unmarked buff isn't in there then that maybe why it's not showing up. Maybe in your download there is a separate texture file that you need to import into that texture dictionary. Usually authors don't have separate texture file that you would have to put in separately. What vehicle is that? Link?
  6. Are you spawning it with a trainer? What shows up in the Police Garage, the old or new? Did you put the ytd, ect. files in the latest patchday? Or which patch day did you put them in? I remember having a little issue like that but I think it was just put in the wrong patchday. I didn't put mine in the latest patchday, I just searched where the latest payday for the vehicle is and swapped it out.
  7. I remember it didn't take so long to put someone down. Maybe a year ago you could take a suspect down with less hits then you can now. I'm not sure what mod changes that (LSPDFR, STP, ect.). I'm not sure if I would want 1-2 hits for the suspect to go down. Would be realistic but then I would think the same would be for the officer which the mod Deadly Weapons makes it so your character will go down sooner. I don't think I want that. Everyone's different how they want to play. Good thing for the .ini files. There is a callout where a heavily armed suspect is out and about. I have to call in so much backup it's ridiculous, you have so many dead officers before the suspect goes down. How many hits it takes to take him down is way too many. I know he has body armor but still. But, yeah, there is a ped on the ground and I could shoot him about 10 in the mid section before he stays down. I'd prefer maybe 5 shots or half of whatever it is now.
  8. Correct, LSPDFR+ by Albo won't work. Albo is not updating any of his mods anymore so most of his mods will not run on LSPDFR. Most of what is in Albo's mods are in Bejoijo's Stop the Ped and Ultimate Backup found here https://www.bejoijo.com/ These mods are up to date so they will work with the latest LSPDFR and GTAV updates. Problem is Bejoijo updates his mods often and when he updates his mods the old version of his mods are automatically disabled. You will see that notification when you go on duty in the game. So you would have to go back to his website and download/install the latest version. As for the other mods on this site, under Downloads, usually the first 2 pages of mods are up to date and should work. Mods after those pages may work. Depends on the mod.
  9. I like how you add more homes. When the game starts it seems to start you at your home. So to have homes not too far from a station is great. Question about the characters. Can you edit the DOB of your characters? In my pic here, I have 2 characters that resemble like Father/Son or Older/Younger but their DOB are 2 years apart. Can that be changed?
  10. Neat video of someone doing a ride along and close up footage. Officer shooting radar and clocks a Mercedes going 113mph. As Officer is running the info the driver takes off.
  11. I did a little showcase with Jurisdictions+. it's on youtube. I'll see if I can find the link. I've spent a lot of time modding than playing. But at least I have it the way I want. At least until another major Rock* update comes along. LOL

You might open your Open IV and up top it should say there is a new update.rpf and do you want to copy it to your mods folder. Click Yes or whatever it says. Then it should load, if that is the problem. Only problem is that after you do that you will need to reinstall mods like EUP and some other stuff that made changes to the mods folder.
  13. There's quite a bit of mods that are excellent for LSPDFR. I don't have time to list my personals. I'll try to come back and do that.
  14. Your replacement vehicles or add ons? I had a problem with my add on vehicles not loading but fixed it. I added all my addons through Albo's dlc modding mod. I had to go into the dlclist and add the line "modding" so the game would link his folder. Maybe it's something like that.
  15. Do you mean you don't see them in the Police Garage? I'm not sure what you mean by vehicle selection list. To have the vehicles show up in the police garage when you are selecting what vehicles you want, you need to got to game folder>lspdfr>data>duty_selection. You add in your addon vehicles down at the bottom of the list in the XML file.
  16. I asked this over a month ago through discussion/suggestion but didn't get any satisfactorily responses. I thought I would ask here. I would like to change the division and beat numbers on any vehicles. When I export it through OIV it is a DDS file. I don't have any program that opens that type. What kind of program do I need to edit that or what is the best way to edit the numbers on skins? All skins seem to have 1 as the division and only 3 at most different beat numbers. I would like to be able to change that. Or could I send you that file (skin) and tell you what numbers I would like to see?
  17. I don't see an answer to this anywhere so I hope I'm not asking a common question. I have a lot of vehicles. mods, plugins, including Albos DLC mod pack which makes vehicles easier to install. If I install LML is that going to mess any of those vehicles, mods, plugins up? I am considering installing LML because there are some mods that I am interested in but only install through LML. I really don't want to re-install what I have currently after installing LML. Just wondering how that works. Thanks!
  18. I remember there being a True/False in the INI of STP about how peds react to gun shots in vehicle or on foot. I haven't seen it in the past couple updates on STP. I find that when shots are fired people seem to abandon their vehicle. You can drive away after the call is done but I like to clean up what I can. Meaning, all those abandon vehicles I usually just call for their ins co and they come pick it up. I was thinking I would change the option back to just having to drivers drive through, possibly running you over as they freak out. I'm not sure which is better. But, I don't see that option anymore on what you want the peds to do during a shoot out. I think it would be good if they can just back up/turn around and drive away. I'm not sure if that is possible programming/coding that (whatever you call it). So, I think that was an option in the STP ini but I don't see that option anymore. Unless it is somewhere else.
  19. Interesting Mod. I'm kinda surprised so many use it. Quite a few times I'm walking up to someone from a callout and no warnings about the individual. Next thing he pulls out a gun and takes your vest and half your life before you can get to cover. That is w/o this callout. I try to add realism to it but this is too much for me lol. I'd be in and out of the hospital so many times it would be frustrating. Sometimes it's not being careful other times it's sudden and unexpected. Your Super Callouts and Events are awesome though. I do like those. Keep up the good work though.
  20. I had that problem and it was an outdated callout plugin. I think it was one of Albo's plugins. So, uninstalled it and used a more updated plugin. Make sure everything is up to date.
  21. Can the Menu be brought up by using the Function Keys? I wanted to bring up the Menu by pressing F9. F9 number is 120 if I remember. I don't have a modifier key. Tried changing it in the ini. but the menu doesn't pop up.
  22. I think you need this here. Install it and see if that fixes it.
  23. SSD is great but the 256GB I think is a little on the low side. You could add an internal or external SSD and then install the game on that drive. My GTAV folder with a lot of mods and vehicles in is about 150GB. So if the 256 is your main drive, you will run out of space quick. You have to consider how much space your OS takes up on that drive and pictures, videos, music. The 8 Ram I think is fine. Don't know about the Graphics or processor.
