Game Loads with 2 different update.rpf files. Why?
Your game loads so what's the problem? 😀 Well, I'm curious why this is. With this last update (v2215) I updated Rage and ScriptHook and both GTAV and LSPDFR runs even though I have 2 different update.rpf files. This never happened before so I was wondering why it runs with 2 different update.rpf. OpenIV says that there is an updated update.rpf different than the one in your mods folder. I have NOT updated it. Every update in the past the game would not load or I think crash back to desktop just before loading and it was because in the mods folder the update.rpf was outdated. Go into Openiv and update it and then the game runs (as long as you have LSPDFR, Rage and scripthook if you have script in your game folder). This is the first time that I can run GTAV and LSPDFR having an outdated update.rpf in my mods folder. Wondering why that is.

Addon Vehicle HELP!!
How do you install your addons? Do you go through Lenny's Mod Loader or Albo's Modding DLC program? I use Albo's Modding personally. But the latest is LML that almost everyone uses. I'm also on a desktop but all my addons work. I don't know what the difference could be between your laptop and desktop.

LSPDFR and Rage Crashes
Yeah, it does seem to been because of the ambient stuff going on. It's like a memory thing, where LSPDFR or Rage can't handle that much ambient stuff. Is there anyway to fix that? Some mods may have to be tweaked by the author to make it more stable. How about the Rage Plugin Threshold? Mine is set to 60,000. I read somewhere that that is where it should be now. I remember it started at 10,000. I read you could bump it up 5,000 and run the game and see what happens but don't go more than 100,000. Not sure why and not sure what the threshold does. Hate to remove Ambient Emergency Response and Ambient AI Callouts. I really like those 2. But if you have to then you have to. I'm going to remove Super Callouts and Events. Also, have Simple Callouts by Bejoijo and might remove that but that is a pretty simple callout pack. Never had any lag or crash with it. The other stuff I have is Better EMS, Heli Assit, Computer+, Custom Pullover, STP and UB by Bejoijo. A lot is just small plugins that wouldn't take up any thing at all, I would think, like Ambient FX. There are about 3 that I think I can remove because other plugins cover it but even removing those I can't imagine making a difference. I'll remove those any way. I'll see what happens unless someone else has any ideas.

LSPDFR and Rage Crashes
I've noticed this problem slowly getting worse. I almost think it has to do with super callouts and super events. I installed ambient emergency response and about a month later installed AmbientAI Callouts. AI Callouts is where it is crashing more then ever but have had Rage and LSPDFR crash not as much before these last 2 were installed. Can't stay on Duty for more than 5 minutes til crash. It's almost like too much is trying to go on, trying to generate events. Ambient AI Callouts is always generating events for the AI PD. Here's a Rage crash report. RagePluginHook.log

New patch
I would just wait. ScripthookV error is most likely because it won't work with the new version. Needs to be updated. Your other problem is probably because RPH needs an update. You could remove scripthook from your main root directory and launch gtav. I think it should launch. LSPDFR only goes through RAGE so you need to wait for a RAGE update.

Where are all the vehicle slots assigned to?
Yeah, this is the FBI or as the game calls it FIB, I assume for legal reasons vehicle. https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/FIB_Buffalo This is the Police 4 unmarked vehicle, that I think is mainly city area. https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Unmarked_Cruiser Not sure what patrols the Port of LS. Before you go on duty, you might go to the Port, bring up you phone, go to contacts, Call Emergency and Ask for Police. See what shows up. Whatever shows up is most likely the unit that patrols there. I think it is LSPD (City PD) that responds if you don't have any addon vehicles assigned to the Port. As far as Jurisdictions, I use Jurdictions+. Here is the link. If you only have the Original/Vanilla vehicles of the game then I don't think Jurisdictions+ is needed BUT if you plan on installing addon vehicles that you can assign to other areas then this would come in handy. Vanilla GTAV only has that Motorcycle that acts as a Highway Patrol Unit on the Highways and Freeways. If you were to addon some HP vehicles then you could assign them to the Highway/Freeways, for example. I did a video of my vehicles I have installed and how they show up in certain areas on Youtube. I'll see if I can get the link later if you want to see.

Ultimate Questions for STP
Hi, I haven't installed this yet but was just browsing through the questions and answers of yours and it is labeled as traffic stop questions. Would these same questions come up if you were to stop the ped on the streets? Went to a call where 2 people were drunk and fighting in the street. I had custom questions and answers that I put in in the original STP Q&A and those questions didn't show up. I couldn't find the custom questions pressing e. STP read me says that the questions are under the context menu also, default G. I forgot to look there. So, if I were stop a ped on the street as opposed to a traffic stop then would these questions you have still show up in the E menu, and/or the G context menu? Also, under STP main XML's in STP folder it has an XML Ped Answers. Should I get rid of that file since yours has Q and A's?

Yeah, maybe it was left behind from an older mod I installed. Doesn't seem to be hurting the game so I'll just leave it in. Ain't broke, don't fix it. 😁

im new to lspdfr and i need some mods
As for the Timer, it is part of LSPDFR robbery callouts. I don't care too much for the timer either. I think you can disable the callout when you are in the game. Or, if you go to your main root folder then lspdfr folder and in there is a lspdfr file that is a config settings file you can open. Open in notepad or something where you can edit it. Look for; Holdup.TimeMultiplier = 1.0f If you don't see it in there, copy/paste that line and add it into there. From what the LSPDFR wiki/settings on this site says, you can change the number to increase of decrease the time. The higher number gives you more time. I don't know how much more time though. If you change it to 1.5f or 2.0f, how much more time will that give you? Maybe someone can reply to that question. Don't forget to save when you close the file.

Hashes.ini ?
Just curious, I saw a hashes.ini file in my main root folder and wondered what that is for? It seems to have a list of all the vehicles including my addons with a 10 digit number in front of it. Wondered what that's for.

Im new what are some mods that i should have to?
Since you're new here but not sure if you are new to modding, here are some simple plugins that I "personally" like but everyone's different of course lol. If you don't know, with some callouts/plugins, if they are outdated then they might not work too well. When you search for plugins on here, they are sorted by recently updated. So, hopefully, the more recent ones will work. Anyway, here are a few simple ones that you can just throw in you game and see if you like it. Ambient FX = Making fire and smoke larger. Spotlight = When you press " I " a spot light will turn on and you can have the spot light automatically follow a ped or vehicle but you need to stay kinda close to it. Neat enhancement, I think a lot think use it. Also, depends if your vehicle has a spot light for this to work. Basic Cruise Control = Only if you play strictly on a keyboard and want to maintain your speed so it looks normal. Player Location Display = So you know what street you're on, area, Direction. Couple more I know but not sure if they are needed anymore. Gonna look into it.

Silent Backup
For Ultimate Backup try this. Go into the Ultimate Backup.ini and look for a line that says IsCode2SirenLightsOn=no If yours, says yes, then change it to no. Save. Then when you call Code 2 back up through UB they should respond with no siren.

Problem requesting ems
Haha, yeah that is a downside about it. I was on a highway probably right in the middle of 2 medical centers, far far away and it took EMS several minutes to find out how to get there. But I still like how Fire/EMS gets dispatched from the nearest Station or Hospital as opposed to spawned a certain distance.

I use Better EMS. That works for me. I like it better than Ultimate Backup's EMS request.

Lights
Sometimes it is just a simple restart of your computer. I've had my lights not go on. So I would exit the game, restart my computer and then load the game back up. Load the game and the lights would seem to work fine. Might try that.

Ok,with PLD you can actually move the street display to anywhere on the screen.

Where to find “FBI” car file
If it's in none of the Patchdays then it is definitely in x64e.rpf/ levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf. But just put it in the latest Patchday22 like Jeff said.

Holster Animations Not Working
Yeah, it has to be something with LSPDFR. They should probably look into it. I'm pretty sure there was another plugin that had the holster removing animation besides LSPDFR. Though it was STP but could be wrong. I remember seeing it in some plugins .ini. I checked LSPDFR ini also for the line (Ambient.DisablePlayerHolsteringActions = false). Should be false because you don't want to disable it. I switched it to true and tried it but still doesn't work. I'm not sure what the deal with this is. I'm sure this was working in 4.7 so it must be a bug in 4.8 like you said..

Holster Animations Not Working
I'm having the same problem. I think I notice it stopped work after the 4.8 update of LSDPFR. I seem to remember Stop the Ped had a Cop holster animation but that is not in the STP .ini anymore. I think it was a few versions back. It was toggleable (True /False ) if you wanted to use the STP holster animation or LSPDFR. They don't have that option in the .ini file anymore so I wonder if STP got rid of it. Might be a glitch in the STP.dll. I was going to try the old plugin Cop Holster and have that animation again. Haven't install it yet though.

[ELS] LASD 2016 Dodge Charger (ALPR,LSSD Livery)
I like how it is LASD based livery but could swap it for LSSD. I want it to say Los Santos instead of Angeles. ELS is good. Charger type is good. Maybe make an Explorer, Taurus, CV. I like on the back door it doesn't give a specific area like so many other skins and vehicle models do (i.e. East Los Angeles, East Vinewood). I want my LSSD to be general, no specific area, just all around LS county sheriff. I'll try this out.

Holster Animation not working
I just noticed the LSPDFR holster animation isn't working. Yes, I do have this in the lspdfr.ini ; Ambient.DisablePlayerHolsteringActions = false I think I remember Stop the Ped had it's own holstering animation and you could enable/disable it. I don't see that in the STP's .ini in the last 2 previous versions. So after one of the Stop the Ped updates that might have been taken out. I'm not sure if that is causing a glitch. I uninstalled Cop Holster plugin a while back because Stop the ped and LSPDFR had their own version of it. Maybe I'll uninstall STP and see if that fixes it. Also i was doing all this to see how the LSPDFR intimidate animation looks and I don't see how you do that. Before you would press right Shift and your character would put his hand on the gun. Now, nothing happens when I press right shift. So I think something is wrong with the holstering and intimidate animation.

Help installing cars
They say to put it in the latest patchday. The game reads the vehicles installed from the latest patchday to the oldest. Oldest being patchday1 and the latest being patchday23 I think. I think there is a police2 or police3 in a patchday1, patchday3 or patchday4 for example. The game is going to pull the vehicle from, for example, patchday4 instead of patchday1 because patchday4 is the latest. So if there there is a police2 in patchdays 1 and 4, the game will take the vehicle from patchday4 since it is the latest. If you put the police2 in the latest patchday23 then it will pull the police vehicle (police2 for example) from patchday23 instead of patchday4 or patchday1. Hope you followed all that. Yeah, it is confusing. I have had a problem with the first police vehicle where it would not show up in game unless i put it in the x64e.rpf file. I had to copy the x64e.rpf to the mods folder because you don't want to make changes to those types of files in the Main GTAV folder. The full path is x64e.rpf/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf. There you can drop your replacement vehicles in there if they don't show up in game when you drop them into the patchdays folders. At least that is what I had to do to the Police,Taxi,Train,Bus vehicles when I replaced them. I don't know why, but that worked for me. If you are doing ADD-ON vehicles, that is a lot more complicated. I suggest using Lenny's Mod Loader (LML) or Albo's Modding DLC. I use Albo's because I haven't tried Lenny's yet. HAHA, I just noticed after typing all that, this is an old post. Well, there you go. 😆

Computer+ / Citations+ and Ultimate Backup
I use Computer+, UB and STP. They all seem to work fine. I don't have Citations+ so I don't know about that.
