  1. So... The LAPD have the Setina PB-450L pushbars on their Utilities, that's for definate. If you wish to put a push-bar on the LAPD vehicles, then use the Setina PB-450's. Unfortunately, I cannot find out what the brand of the push-bars are on the CHP's vehicles, but they are very similar. I've read that the push-bars on the CHP are Setina PB-400's with PB-5 wrap around bars. But from images they don't look like Setina, theres no Setina branding and the CHP's push bars seem more curved. I've also read that the CHP makes their own push-bars? I really don't know, I've spent an hour trying to find out what brand CHP's pushbars are
  2. It's difficult to say, its possible that following some pursuits they decided to add push bumpers to their new orders, that seems to have happened with the CHP. I read somewhere that the CHP are going to fit wrap-around pushbars on their Utilities because during pursuits they damaged the front and side panels. That may be in areas of high pursuits, so the individual precincts have chosen to fit the pushbars because of the likeliness of a pursuit.
  3. well, I'd like to know what equipment is fitted in the LAPD's Explorers, but I can't find any photos which can help. I showed the model maker a photo I found of the SDPD's vehicle, which I'm assuming will have a similar fit out as the LAPD's. If you have any photographs of the interior of an LAPD utility it'll help the modder make a much more accurate vehicle.

  7. Excellent photos mate! Very nice! Any shots of the interior?
  8. I believe they have them on all Crown Vic's. There's not many images of the interior of the Utility, let alone the Utility belonging to the LAPD. Perhaps you know some Los Angeles contacts who can photograph the interior of the vehicle? Yeah, for now, until we can establish a more concrete understanding of the interior, just leave it as it is. It's beautiful the way it is, then once a Californian tells us what the interior looks like, then you can update it and make it more accurate. It's of very low priority. Good luck
  9. Both of these cannot be right. Usually US cars have plastic shaped seats, and door cards installed over the rear doors, to prevent the prisoner escaping. Seat's are like this: http://www.pro-gard.com/wp-content/uploads/PIUtility_SeatFloorPanCargoBarrier-1200x1200.jpg This is the interior of a SDPD vehicle, its a Ford Police Interceptor Utility. Notice the doors are covered with a plastic cover, moulded to cover the door handles and prevent any access to the side pockets. I know that in the video the rear doors don't have a door card cover, but that was a demo in 2013 of the LAPD's future vehicles, some features were obviously changed from the demo version. http://cdn2.bigcommerce.com/server5400/vpslo31z/products/7761/images/15398/big_vehpro_doorguard%25285x5%2529__70347.1360300180.500.500.jpg?c=2 Another image of a door card cover, to give you an idea of the door cards.
  10. well, the LAPD usually have a pullout tray with the black box, and electrical equipment. I'd assume they may have traffic cones maybe? http://www.hendonpub.com/assets/articles/4420/34c3ce55-e1f6-4f81-b6b0-a61314269172.jpg second link
  11. Yeah it's unfair, I know. But at the same time, the past makes people weary, new models such as the Ford Police Interceptor were ripped and stolen from modders, and there has always been a fight between modders to ensure correct credits and permissions are given. It's unfair that they treat everyone with suspicion but at the same time they have a good reason not to trust people. I'd like to contact KevinDV myself, but I doubt I'd get a response either. It's possible that they've just had a tonne of messages for the same thing, and can't be bothered to go through them, or many people request the parts but underestimate the difficulty of making mods (especially noobs) so they never make anything but have all the parts. The arjent was meant for GTA IV, so porting it into GTA V is technically breaking the rules, seeing as it's another game. That being said, the Dev did release it for one game, so hopefully he would allow it to be used in V
  12. Probably because you're new to the LSPDFR community, I don't think they'll trust that you won't steal or republish their light-bar. Unfortunately people are very untrusting of new modders, because of vehicles being ripped or published without consent in the past.
  13. Try emailing: webmaster@accuratestudio.com That's the admin for the group AccurateStudio which KevinDV is part of, so hopefully, they'll be able to get in contact with him that way. Hopefully that should get you permission for the Arjent, alternatively yes, @F5544 is making an arjent lightbar, perhaps he can agree to lend it to you for this vehicle? Seeing as he's making an LAPD Crown Vic, really this complements the LA package.
  14. I remember now, yes. Both you and me have an interest in that bike. I loved the GTA IV version, pity the NYPD doesn't have them, because that's the department I was playing as. So I had to use the crappy Harleys :( Any update from Voodoo then?
  15. Can I suggest making a CHP version? Replacing Police4 (Unmarked) seeing as that is the vehicle used for highway patrol by default. I'm assuming everyone who's interested in Highway Patrol will use that slot, because that means that the AI will be CHP instead of something else. Plus, the CHP vehicles have a very similar pushbar and a similar lightbar, spotlight (s). The only difference is that the CHP have the steelies with five spokes, however the benefit of switching to the new steelies is that most (*Citation needed, (I'm from the UK, so I base this on my knowledge of the States) ) police departments which have the utility have those steelies. Such as Metro, LAPD, Chicago PD, NYPD etc. As such with one vehicle many different states can be replicated. In fact, I think that you should seriously consider changing the rims as a priority over everything else I said, whilst it'll be nice to have a CHP vehicle, the new steel rims are more applicable to most police departments who operate the Utility, so overall I think it would satisfy most users, as they'll only have to change the texture. I've attached a link of the new steel rims, to see what I mean... http://i404.photobucket.com/albums/pp129/JTBConsulting/Explorer Sport/file_zps3da7e376.jpg~original Of course, that's only a suggestion, and by no means will anyone complain if you choose not to (unless they're ungrateful b*stards). Good luck, I'm well and truly impressed with your car so far. All the best, and Godspeed with this.
  16. Voodoo? Is he? I wasn't aware he was making one! Thats pretty cool, do you know how recently he began working on it? Fella, I'm afraid it does come down to just waiting. And offering money isn't always in your best interest. Firstly one must buy a model, to convert into GTA format, some models can cost around £100. Plus paying the person for work done as well. Unfortuantely, as eager as I am for a BMW R1200 RT P as well, I accept that its only a matter of time before one comes out.

  19. I agree! They're fighting fire with fire! There's too many guns around, we need more guns to fight the guns. I'm not opposed to the right to bear arms and such, it's just laughable when some peoples reasons are "To fight a tyrannical government", and "for the invasion of the muslims". It's no longer the case whereby the civil population needs to be armed in case of invasion, as it is in Switzerland.
  20. Hystery, just leave it, I wouldn't bother arguing, these people are convinced that guns are necessary, so let them keep their guns. If more shootings happen c'est la vie, except for those who die... At least they're "defending their second amendments" against the MUSLIMS and the tyrannical government! Yeah, pity that innocent people get caught in the crossfire. I wish natural selection would happen faster and all you gun nuts would just accidentally shoot yourselves.
  21. Well... To contrast with all the corruption, police brutality and racism, I introduce the Metropolitan Police, who also suffered from corruption, racism and police brutality. It's actually the largest police force in the United Kingdom, responsible for London and Greater London. They've had a very rocky history, even recently allegations of racism have occurred, one of the officers who became the "face of the Met" ended up taking them to court. However, the Met maintains order over one of the most diverse areas in the world, and daily display bravery, selflessness and dedication to the public they serve. Incidents where our **unarmed** officers have confronted and detained a criminal with a katana, using nothing but an ASP for protection, our unarmed officers who've tackled a gunman, our officers confronted with a machete, as well as many other displays of bravery. I think the Met leads the way, and often shows other police forces what community policing is all about. It shows how all police forces are capable of turning their ugly history around, and become a force for good!
  22. Yeah, according to @MephistoPheles we can't do anything about that. I wasn't able to change the colour using the SNT either. It has to be used in slot one, unless the author makes corrections to the model.
