[WIP] LAPD/LASD/CHP FPIU (2014)
By the way, I've got another correction to make, I hope it's quite simple: So the glass being used in this model seems different to the normal glass, I think it may be the material that you chose, but the glass on the explorer shatters in an ugly way, compared to the normal glass. Glass from F5544's CVPI, I shot the glass, notice it's slightly bluer than the surrounding glass, but it also shows it's shattered. This is very realistic and quite cool. Real life comparison, very realistic. His Arjent lightbar on your vehicle does the same, I've shot two bullets into it, and it looks like that. However, on your Explorer, it just looks foggy and there's no cracking, except for where the bullet went through. It's a really good feature implemented by default in GTA V, and it would be a real pity to lose it. If you can correct it, I don't mind whether its for V0.3 or later, it'd be really good. I know you're working on the interior, so apologies for adding another item on the list.

Pack 2
Yeah. I figured as much, thanks. They do look really good. But it'll mean he'll have to source another lightbar IF he's going to release the vehicles.

Pack 1
I'm very much loving the variety in wheel choices, three different choices from one model is very cool!

Pack 2
You probably did it for testing, but the new gen LAPD Chargers only have steel rims. It's interesting to see them with the alloys though. The rest look fabulous, really nice. Who provided the light bar, is it your creation?

LSPD Traffic Block
Looks good, you should have a WIP Showroom post, so you can have a more centralised location to display the vehicles, and any updates as well.

Pursuit Ends With Driver Driving Off Of Freeway
Since you're using Desmond98 model, it's probably worth waiting until he releases it with all bug fixes and the high quality interior, that way when you modify it for the CHP it already has a working interior, and is bug free for release. Good progress so far.

[WIP] 2012 Ford Police Interceptor Utility
I agree, it's a good idea, it's like California's use of steady burn I guess, and it's an additional pattern, I'm impressed with the idea actually, it's very good.

He means, already the car is really good, with a High Quality interior it'll be even better, and he's right.

Oh Crocky. It's a Rare Chargah
I'm only asking because in one image Fartknockr stated that he hadn't yet received permission to release them, and I know that receiving permission is probably one of the biggest hurdles. I don't mind at all waiting, that's not my question, I would just like to make sure that he's actually going to release them afterwards. I completely understand him taking time to perfect them, and don't expect him to release a half-arsed model.

Oh Crocky. It's a Rare Chargah
Permissions for private use. Previously you've stated exactly you have yet to receive permission for release, as Gunter said, were all waiting to get our hands on those vehicles.

SAHP On The Hunt
Looks decent, a better shot of the front would be more appreciated though, to see the wraparound. Added any additional lighting? Such as on the pushbars and mirrors?

Oh Crocky. It's a Rare Chargah
What is that and why don't I have it?! Mindbogglingly cool! Once permissions are received, it will be a very popular release.

https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/4k-lasd-texture-for-the-ford-explorer CaptainSugarFree made a 4K LASD texture, if that's what you're asking for Alternatively, Scot619 made these?

Check out ELS for V!
Looks absolutely incredible, does anyone know if he's allowing modders early access to create ELS compatible vehicles? Whilst the vehicle production has been really slow, I'm impressed with the progression of LSPDFR & policing scripts, this really will be the cherry on top. Phenomenal job. Any ideas of a release month/Date?

Peaceful callouts suggestion
There's tonnes which I can suggest which don't necessarily result in pursuits: Domestic argument Public intoxication Driving whilst under the influence (shoudn't always result in a pursuit) Failing to pay taxi fair Road Traffic collision Damage to property Police assistance required for Medical crew Theft from commercial property Suspected drug dealing Lost Persons Medical Emergency

[WIP] LAPD/LASD/CHP FPIU (2014)
I couldn't find the exact model, but its quite similar in shape and size to this: But the LAPD ones are flat on the sides, all the images below should clarify. <-------Its cross section looks like this, with a flat sides, and it tapers into the top. But it's shape is like that:

[WIP] LAPD/LASD/CHP FPIU (2014)
Sorry, I should explain. Its a very tiny detail, but it's pretty visible on the rims of all police cars. It's for accuracy and has no real effect on the model It's the weights added to the rims of all vehicles to balance them, they keep the car from shaking at high speeds. On civilian cars they're mounted on the inside, but the steel rims of all US police cars, it seems to be mounted outside. Orange circle shows the wheel balance weights. Here they are on the LAPD Utility, they are on every single servicable vehicle in the world, marked with the two orange arrows. The "Hockey puck" antenna is pointed out with the red arrow, in case you didn't understand what I meant.

[WIP] LAPD/LASD/CHP FPIU (2014)
I've added a photograph of a check-list, (because I'm extremely bored). This is the list of corrections, which I've noted and noted by other people as well. (If I've missed some, let me know and I'll add them to the list). There isn't any particular order of importance, some corrections are just for added accuracy such as the hockey-puck style antenna on the roof. As far as I understand, no additional lighting can be added due to limited slots in the emergency lighting for one vehicle, so until ELS comes out I don't think much can be done about the last three.

[WIP] 2012 Ford Police Interceptor Utility
Yes, I agree that variety is very nice. Enabling people from all over the US to play as their individual states, One request only, and I do believe this is pretty important, can you put the current steel rims on? As opposed to the old style which you had in your image? That's all I ask, because no police Department has them (unless they have the plastic hubcaps on top). Otherwise, most police departments have these style steelies. Ps. Ignore the 2016, they're the same as the current gen, I just needed a close-up photo. Good luck with the project, and I agree, sticking to the game based departments is better. I look forward to your eventual release.

[WIP] LAPD/LASD/CHP FPIU (2014)
Standard LAPD equipment, on almost all vehicles in the entire fleet. Spotlight will be on all their Ford Utilities, they also have alley lights and flood lights in the Arjent. Remember, if you're going to put in a spotlight, make sure it's an LED spotlight, not the old glass bulb ones. NOT LIKE THIS ONE BELOW THIS ONE IS MUCH MORE ACCURATE This is much more accurate, made by Unity USA. Looks exactly like what the LAPD use.

[WIP] LAPD/LASD/CHP FPIU (2014)
I don't know, I'm going out on a guess here. It's probably only one lightbar can be active at once, if both are in place, I'm sure only half of it will work. Plus there are the two rear lights, spotlight and the centre alley lights. Certainly I'd love to see many more lights, corner strobes, traffic advisor, alley lights, all the LAPD patterns on the Arjent, steady burns and spotlight, but I think realistically we must wait until Lt. Caine releases ELS.

LAPD 2013 FPIU
Depends how you see it really, some might argue that the arjent lightbar adds more accuracy than the default lightbar, plus, not to undermine your work but the only difference I see is mirror lighting and the spotlight. I thought originally that you ripped his model and claimed it was yours, but Desmond has clarified. The original question was "who's model is it" to which a more suitable answer would have been "Its desmonds, but he's given me permission to edit it". No matter, I misunderstood the situation.

[WIP][API][PREVIEW VIDEO] LSPDFR Emergency Panic Button
Our officers use these radios, if you see the orange button, thats the panic button. So in an emergencyy, they reach for it on their vest and press the button. I don't know what the US uses, but I'm assuming that the button is on some part of the radio, so the animation should reflect them reaching for it. If that makes sense, so when the officer presses the panic button, instead of it magically happening, an animation makes it look like he's reaching for it

LAPD 2013 FPIU
Is it? Because it looks an awful lot like Desmond98's vehicle... It even has the same license plate number! Funny that

Major Pile Up on the Highway
Lies... The pileup happened because all the drivers were distracted by the beautiful Charger. Needless to say, they were able to get a closer look once they were arrested.
