  7. It's pretty much the same thing. You will just have to line up the UV Mapping properly with your template instead of having to create one from scratch.
  8. While that is true, the poly count is important to consider when it comes to the specs of IV players and modders alike. High poly counts can cause the game to not run (if someone has mid-end to low-end specs), map and object loading issues, and the infamous taxi bug. I used this tutorial to learn the basics. Unfortunately, you still need to do a lot of learning and experimentation on your own in order to understand it fully.
  9. Awesome! Even though this is not a ped model, would you be able to obtain the JB700 model(s)? I'm keen on doing a conversion since no one (with the capability) has yet.
  10. Lol. Well, best wishes to you, man.
  11. Some luck, right? If only I had that.
  12. Happy birthday, man! Have a good one! :D A lot of people I know have birthdays today, and a few good things happened today. :)
  13. The NYPD Crown Victoria and the NYPD Caprice (from the 90's). I know, I'm a little boring. :P
  14. From my experience, modeling (especially in Zmodeler) is frustrating at the start, but it gets better as you learn how to work with things. If you're thinking of scratch-modeling GTA IV objects, such as vehicles, they need a lot of patience and time; however, the end result is completely worth it. My suggestion is to start off with a simple car conversion or modification (use vanilla cars in order to get the hang of things). :)
  15. I've had this file around, but I haven't tried it recently. http://psx-scene.com/forums/f313/%5Brel%5D-visit-cutscene-mission-interiors-1-2-update-2013-07-21-a-115245/ This will allow you to visit interiors in IV, including the Police station.
  16. Thank you, LMS. It seems this issue has come up multiple times in similar scenarios.
  17. To whom this may concern, I just successfully uninstalled LCPDFR: 1.0a and installed 1.0b; however, I encountered a crash during a callout for a car chase. Upon stopping the vehicle and getting the driver to get out of the car, LCPDFR also thought I was performing a traffic stop and prompted me to call a pursuit to dispatch. A little confused, I pressed ALT+E and then followed by attempting to arrest the suspect. After that, my game crashed. Attached are the AdvancedHook.log and LCPDFR.log files. Regards, - Murphy
