Three mass shootings in America in one day
It's not just the number of guns here, but you have to look at how many people use these weapons in self defense, recreation, and sport. The actions of the few do not represent the actions or will of the many. The gun is a equalizer for the weak and helpless, and the strong but the outnumbered. My grandmother cannot fight someone off if they break into her house, her gun helps her win the fight. What? You subjugated because you cannot have the "FEELING" that you soo desire? You want to feel safe at the cost of others? Would you like to go through this again or should I just point you to our last convo we had on this whole issue?

Three mass shootings in America in one day
I understand that you don't have to worry about getting shot, but what about everything else? You can get your ass whooped, you can get stabbed, beat to death, and mobbed. All that people are worried about is getting shot, they are not accepting the reality of being attacked in any other way. It is no ones business to ask me why I need a gun, bottom line. I am tired of people wanting people to do something that wont do nothing but subjugate innocent individuals to the will of others.

Three mass shootings in America in one day
Every country has unbelievable amounts of violence. Violence cannot be subjugated without proper definition. It doesn't matter what is used in the role of violence, to separate violence with a gun from violence with a knife, bat, tire iron, sword, or a brick is targeting an object that you don't like, or understand. If it is not a gun that they use, it will be a knife, or a bat, or a brick. So bottom line, "Violence is Violence" and you cannot separate it into categories. Second, You have no idea how our health system works, there is help for people, but the issue is the person accepting that they have an issue and admitting them accordingly. Unless you get a court order to admit someone, it is up to the individual to commit themselves. Learn about our heath system and then flap your lips. And you do have to go through a list of things to get a gun, depending on the state that you live. I don't claim to act as if I know how your system works, don't act as if you know how mine works. The shit you hear on the news is 95% bullshit and lies, and that is not to mention that they news channels air stuff that flows to their political belief so that they can push their own agenda. So how about everyone here stop talking about gun violence, and start addressing it for what it is "VIOLENCE". I've done research between 2 major city's in this world, 1) New York and 2) London, and after looking at what these 2 city's police departments have posted about the crime they have, London is far more violent than New York. Take note, I did not say anything about guns, I only mentioned violence. Violence is the issue, not guns.

Birmingham, Britain Traffic Warden Nearly Killed
What you are arguing makes no sense. You are not reading what i am typing out. Learn What "more than likely" means. And yes i do know that cops have been assaulted by people and most of the time when the cop pulls his or hers weapon, the individual in question will try to run or pull a suicide by cop action. And like I said, "more than likely" if the officer pulled a gun out, those people would have bailed, and if they continued to fight, once the officer fired his weapon, they would have bailed. But in conclusion, what you said was beyond stupid. If he had a means to defend himself, he could of, bottom line. And yes, it would have changed the outcome. Start reading everything that i am saying instead of trying to base your argumemt on just one portion of what I said.

You don't need to give a detailed answer to understand that if that individual had, lets say a gun, he would have been able to defend himself from a bunch of thugs that would have giving up the fight once he brought out a force multiplier. I was not posting just to disagree, I was keeping it simple because what he said was stupid and made no sense. More than likely those thugs would have just ran off without a shot being fired, or they would have ran after he started shooting. You are thinking in a mythical manor in which you think that criminals like to stay and fight when they are equally matched or out matched. If you are able to fight back, you are able to defend yourself. If you have a weapon, the chances of you winning is increased substantially. If he had a gun and knew how to use it, things would have changed beyond belief. I kind of feel as if I do not need to explain myself every time I say something, for you all know what evidence I have to support it. There are multiple videos proving that a force multiplier will save someones life, and I have personal experience which allowed me to keep from getting jumped by 7 shit bags. Stop submitting to these pathetic punks and fight back. And fyi, read my response next time before posting something saying "that I fail to give a detailed answer and have no valid argument".

You are, people tend not to stay and fight unless they have a gun and that is rare if they have any courage to fight. When people are out gunned they run unless they are on a suicide run. I've dealt with 7 v me and look at who is still standing. Criminals are tough until they encounter the one that is prepared for them.

Suspected Attack In London (no fatalities)
Well the way that those countries have tried, to fix something, has failed. And I know what you are talking about with the whole " just sitting back and letting it happen time an time again" and you know that you can do absolutely nothing to keep evil people (or should I say BAD people) from doing horrid acts of violence to others.

Police Use Taser on Woman, 87, Who Family Says Was Cutting Dandelions
I'm not saying that this could of not been handled better, but I will say that she had a knife, she was not obeying commands and she had a knife. How did any of the officers know if she had ill intent or not? Just saying... And would any of you go up to anyone and take a knife from someone? Remember that a knife can kill and cause serious bodily injury.

Freedom Of Protest In UK - Only For Some
If you encounter someone with a knife, you leave. You don't try to fight or disarm them, especially if you don't have training to help you out. A knife is just as deadly as a gun, and usually when you know that someone has a knife to you, its too late. The human body does not like objects to be forced into it, and it doesn't matter if its a bullet or a knife.

Freedom Of Protest In UK - Only For Some
I am not trying to argue, I was just pointing out that the removal of guns from a population does absolutely nothing to deter crime and make people safer. The issue at hand is violent crime and not just gun crime (which I don't like to separate because it try's to make a different violent crime somehow seem less violent).

Freedom Of Protest In UK - Only For Some
Criminal activity with guns may have gone down but that does not mean that anyone is safe(r). Plus, why is there a gun debate right now? You all know my stance on this subject but still, wtf?

How did he break the peace? Is asking questions that someone might not like a violent act?

Execution of Shoko Asahara
There is a whole article and Wikipedia section on his trial, appeals, mental evaluation and more that you can read about. Basically his lawyers postponed it and some arrests were made that pushed it further out. He tried to play insane and got caught in a lie. The execution method is an interesting choice if I may say, considering the society that I live in.

Disney World and Legoland employees arrested for Child Porn Sting
Richard Noggin replied to Officer GILLETTE ABDI's topic in Law Enforcement, Current Events & SocietyThis is disgusting, and to think that you will go to jail longer for possession of drugs. Hopefully this county and the state have harsher sentences for these actions.
