  1. The royal mail skin is okay, but I don't know what you used as reference for the British gas van as it looks nothing like they do IRL.
  2. When wiping the PC, you should use the following software: http://www.dban.org/ It incorporates the same wiping algorithm that the US secret service uses on their computers and will ensure that the data on the drive is unrecoverable by anyone. It does take a while though, often more than 8 hours however it's the best option and will pretty much guarantee that the data is gone once complete.
  3. If you have ELS enabled police vehicles in the slots that spawn in public traffic, it can cause the game to crash. Try removing those mods and see if the problem persists.
  4. Really not a good suggestion. That should only be used as a last resort. It's possible that there were cars parked outside of the house that were then changed by the car mod. The game save doesn't just save the car itself, it also saves it's location and other little things that are then changed when you install car mods. Try deleting the gamesave or removing the car mods. The gamesave may also be corrupted due to this.
  5. If that's the case, then the only other option would be to open the PC up and re-seat the RAM.
  6. EDIT: Misread post. Try this: http://www.cnet.com/uk/how-to/test-your-ram-with-windows-memory-diagnostic-tool/
  7. That's fair enough, you're entitled to your own opinion. I don't think that Global warming is a complete scam, but I do believe that it is exaggerated quite a lot for the reasons you've stated above. No, the antarctic would not show signs of Global warming first, since it is more ecologically secure than areas such as Europe's Permafrost which are more vulnerable to minute changes whereas the antarctic, as you have previously said, would require more energy in order to raise the temperature. Do you realize how much human activity actually takes place in the Antarctic? Geez, there was a point where it was used by some countries for nuclear warhead testing.
  8. As I said earlier on in the thread, global warming doesn't just occur in the antarctic or extremely cold areas. It happens in both Europe and Canada, where the permafrosts in the area are very ecologically vulnerable to temperature change. Between 1960 and 2000, Europe's permafrost raised in temperature by one degree. Considering the permafrost is only -2 degrees currently, it will melt within 80 years if we do not protect it. This will cause the flooding of alot of Europe and will damage a very fragile eco-system. In the past 100 years, it is estimated that we have lost 15 species of plants, and if this continues, could have a significant impact on the nearby areas. Want to know what the cause of this is? Humans! It's the exhaust fumes from our vehicles that caused the permafrost temperature to increase. The local government banned vehicles from getting within a certain radius of that area and guess what? The temperature change began to slow! So yes, we humans have a massive impact on the earths weather.
  9. No, it hasnt. The temperature change has slowed, but not yet stopped, and that's only because of the measures in place by the IPCC, and yet the area temperature is still increasing at twice the global rate.

Global warming affects areas much closer to home for some of us.
  11. Doesn't make a difference. Number 1 rule when troubleshooting IT problems - turn it off and turn it on again. Reboot all your network gear. Turn off your modem and routers and leave them off for at least ten seconds before turning them on again. Also reboot your PC. Have you tried pinging the website via the command prompt?
  12. I honestly don't know what to think about this. It's unreal! It amazes me that these kids think that it's acceptable to waste the time of the police and emergency services like this when they could be saving lives instead. Let me know what you all think. 13. I'll be honest, I stopped reading half way through because it felt like a lecture.
  14. But I still don't understand what you mean by: "some i am not allowed to divulge due to OSA official secrets act". You're saying either: You already know (But then why would you be asking), or; You are not allowed to know, but then you can find it on the internet. I'm just trying to understand what you're point is with this statement. Umm... okay, thanks for that. I am already aware of what the OSA is.
