Looks incredible! I'm hyped for this.
  2. Unfortunately for you, it doesn't teach you how to read.
  3. Can you show me your POLICE4 configuration in Grand Theft Auto IV/ELS/ please.
  4. But that's not abuse, and any decent mod creator would not disable them for that reason without providing an alternative way to report such issues. Okay, sure, but that's not abuse in any shape or form. It's simply going to prevent the mod author from improving, meaning their mods won't be any good and won't get any downloads. Which shouldn't be done in comments anyway, this should be reported or the author should be contacted via PM. In fact, by using the comments, you'd just be encouraging the dramatization you were worried about previously... In fact, I can actually see the ability to disable comments being a good idea, as user's could have a single thread for bug reports/feedback, where they can contain everything for all of their mods, allowing them to ensure they see everything they need to as opposed to having to maintain loads of different comment sections accross multiple mods. I still don't see any negatives of disabling comment sections.
  5. In what scenario could disabling reviews/comments on your file be used for abuse?
  6. Why is this even a thread? Anybody with 2 brain cells can tell that LSPDFR isn't going anywhere.
  7. It's literally linked in the description of the video.
  8. You need to edit the outfits.xml files found in the /custom/ folder. For more information on the Custom folder, see: The 'Custom' Folder - Modding Guides For more information on the Outfits files, see: Outfit - Technical Documentation Note that the format of the outfit files does not line up directly with the EUP configuration files, so you'll need to figure out what components line up with those in the EUP outfits file.
  9. Well, for a start, what sort of mods interest you?
  10. Figured that might be the case. Thanks
  11. Does anyone know how I can take an outfit i've created using the EUP menu, and then set it as a default outfit for AI officers? I've noticed the way that EUP stores it's outfits and the way the EUP xml references items of clothing differ and I can't just copy it over.
  12. Not really. Higher clock speed is more important, most games can only utilize ~4 cores. I believe GTA V may use more, however clock speed is still more important.
  13. I disagree. I used to be highly active on these forums, and so were many others around the time. This community turned toxic, with a high influx of pre-teens who completely changed the feeling of the forums. Yes, we may have made the choice to leave, but that choice was influenced by the behaviour of others and to make out that this is not the case is exactly why we had a problem in the first place.
  14. Yes, under GNU GPL-3, you may modify and distribute provided as long as you track changes/dates in source files. Any modifications to or software including (via compiler) GPL-licensed code must also be made available under the GPL along with build & install instructions. I'd also check with the initial author out of courtesy, but given they've chosen this license they shouldn't have an issue.
  15. But that's not running the plate in LSPDFR like they said though? That's running it through PoliceSmartRadio. What if, like me, you don't use PoliceSmartRadio and wish to run through the standard in-car PC?
  16. I shall translate:
  17. Everything you need to know is written in the message if you actually read it: And it says... Then you ask: To which just one sentence along there is an answer...
  18. Reading through some of these posts, I can't recommend websites like udemy enough for those of you new to programming. Trying to create plugins whilst also learning C# will be a challenging experience. Using udemy or a similar tool to learn the fundamentals of programming and a bit of basic C# will help you progress at a much higher rate. It may seem like more effort but it's really the most efficient way. I wish I'd had those tools available when I was first learning to program, would have saved me a lot of time.
  19. I'd be willing to take this on as a group project if there were some other developers who were interested too.
  20. That can be configured in the standard .ini file.
  21. Make sure that you are NOT entering your account details when asked. Leave it EMPTY. Make sure you are running the installer as admin (Right Click Installer > Run as Admin...)
  22. Have you also got all the requirements installed for RPH? http://ragepluginhook.net/Requirements.aspx
