  1. Nah, in offline mode, it just wouldn't save any data at all. That would stop any conflicts....
  2. You could just set the DB to create an ID number for each ped that increments by 1 every time. The details regarding that ped are then stored in the same column and are retrieved as needed. Offline mode would just mean that the DB isn't used. Maybe you could toggle the system in the .ini. MP wouldn't be a problem since only one player performs a traffic stop on their ped.
  3. I was thinking about an idea similar the other day. A SQL database could be setup to record traffic stops in the last two months or so. Then, it would contain the offence, the action taken (such as points/fine) and then there's a chance when stopping a vehicle, that rather than a new record being generated, it is selected from the list of existing traffic stops, and therefore you see the history.. After two months, to stop the database becoming too big, previous stops could be deleted.
  4. Just realised that I'm thinking about the plugs that we have here in the UK, they have built in fuses for every appliance, I think only the UK and Singapore have them..... I guess I can't really comment on the US power adapters though. Sorry for the misunderstanding :P Haha, I remember once when I was in school, the PC wouldn't turn on. I reached around the back thinking the switch on the back of the PC was turned off so I pressed the switch and a massive crack came from the PC, followed by a ton of smoke. If I'd looked at the switch before pressing it, I'd have realised that it was to change the power supply voltage. I'd just doubled it lol.
  5. I think that maybe you should look up the definition of a fuse. It cuts of the power once it exceeds a certain limit. Extension cords will not stop a fire, if the fault originated from the device itself, then the extension cord will not make a difference. Making such a comment is absolutely rediculous. Relays are simply switches, they are not safety devices. Of course they work. They wil have gone through various tests at the manufacture to ensure they meet an legal requirements and legislations.
  6. That really isn't possible, unless there was some sort of fault in the power adapter, but even then, the fuses would have blown before it caught on fire.
  7. If this story is true, then why did you steal an image of the internet to attach to the post? Fifth image down on this page: http://www.bully.cz/Eng/sluzby.php
  8. Have you edited the templates at all?
  9. When I originally saw it, I hated it. I really hated the metro design and found every simple task had become a lot more long winded. I felt as if basic things were taking much longer (i.e the navigation). Notice that I don't mean the speed of the OS when I say that, the OS itself was very fast indeed. I was begging my girlfriend to change back to Windows 7 on her laptop, but she wasn't having any of it. She thinks that it's "pretty". Having said that, I am coming round to it, I could even say I'm beginning to like it, but I don't reveal those sort of feelings. It makes me feel less manly and so I have to play FIFA to feel like a man again.
  10. Have you tried switching to the modern uploader? What browser are you using? @trewq34, the gallery would present an error message if it hadn't been setup, and wouldn't even be accessible, so it's definitely been set up.
  11. Are you trying to name the community, or change the logo? What you asked me over PM was to change the community name, for which I gave you instructions. Are you trying to change the logo?
  12. How about an officer in need of assistance call? A downed officer is located on the map and you have to get there within a certain time frame. If you don't, he dies and the suspect flees. If you arrive on time you can arrest or neutralise the suspect and help your brother in blue.
