  1. If I remember correctly, you're the one who bought a GTX 690, right? Mind telling me the complete specs of your computer? Mobo, RAM, Processor, HDD/SSD?
  2. I lol'd. (probably because I haven't slept all night)
  3. Generally, the more vidmemory the better, however some games *cough GTA IV cough* are just damn bad at memory handling.
  4. The map loads in chunks, you should be able to edit these chunks with 3D editing software. However, this is not easy. About what this guy did, it looks to me like he "converted" some free spots on the map into fire stations with SNT objects. The only thing that requires is the SimpleNativeTrainer and a lot of patience and creativity. EDIT: now after watching all of the videos, it seems he does have some custom objects there. That fire station isn't stock GTA. So he didn't do everything with SNT.
  5. Careful bro, I'm quite triggerhappy when it comes to that. You've been warned. Back on topic, I love the fact that there's so much dedication to big projects here. It takes alot to make such a model from scratch. Keep up the good work!
  6. It cycles through Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Both, Both, Left, Left, Right, Right, Left, Left, Right, Right, Both, Both - Which I think is close enough. About the strobes, they're mapped to the primary lights and therefore quite limited. You can regulate the speed of the lights via an entry in the .ini. Complete nitpicking, it's a videogame after all and we should be grateful we're even able to replicate it as closely to the original as this is.
  7. Becoming an actual cop seems VERY unlikely from what we've seen in the trailers. With luck you'll get some vigilante missions. And oh yeah, forget about separate lights and sirens toggles. That just take up keys. R* will not do that.
  8. I'd say that the lighting system in GTA V is inspired by LEDs over all.
  9. By default any ELSv5 and ELSv6 enabled model is fully compatible with ELSv7. No features missed out. There's no need for a modder to re-release or update all of his models, unless of course he wants to take advantage of some of the new possibilites given to him by ELSv7.
  10. Accurate LAPD lighting: (Don't mind me changing the secondary lightpattern at the beginning. It's a bug it wasn't changed automatic. In the final version of ELS, this will be.)
  11. reflection color, lightbar color is only changeable by texture.
  12. Rotary patterns are also included in ELSv5, just not branded als ELS-H.
  13. If there's a need for translators in the future, we will make a public announcement. At the moment there isn't. Thank you for your interest and your help offer.
  14. You don't need SparkIV, just copy Trafficflow.net.dll and Trafficflow.ini and paste them in .../Grand Theft Auto IV/scripts/
  15. ELS V6 is better for AI cars and multiplayer and also features more light patterns, however it is generally agreed upon that it is less stable than ELSv5.
  16. If you can't go for the 600 Series (which is the most recent series), go for the 500. Solid 500 cards are the 590, 580, 570 and 560 Ti. I recommend ASUS. Do not get the 400 or 200 Series, those are outdated.
  17. Translation is possible and used to be a project, however hasn't been implemented thus far.
  18. MODERATOR NOTICE Wrong section, moving to Gameplay/Misc Modifications.
  19. I know, never said that it doesn't have that feature. However in GTA IV this wasn't used, I'm just glad to have it back in GTA V.
  20. Has anyone noticed how every car seems to have a different numberplate? It seems we finally have some real numberplates in this game, not just a default text.
  21. Ask them if you can't buy the pieces yourself and give to to them to build it.
