I was gonna go all out and go 1440p and GTX 1080 but I decided to tone myself down abit, haha. $1100 for graphics and $900 for the monitor, too much to ask, saved ~$800 by toning back on hectic things. Im super keen but, I must have checked the tracking ID like 10 times today to see where it is hahaha.

My i5 6600k & MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X parts will come this week, I'll have my game looking that good by the weekend I hope. Monitor came today, before everything... Well I know this is still NSW, but I'd like to see the Ford Ranger paddy as well as the Holden Colorado Paddy someone else was working on. Also perhaps a PORS Nissan Patrol, that'd be cool for SWAT call outs, not sure what slot it'd go in though. Making an RBT Bus or prisoner transport out of that truck that came in recent dlc (think it was the brickade) would be awesome to see.(even replacing the prisoner bus in GTA with the Brickade with prisoner transport texture) If you're keen to attempt characters, we're yet to see the load bearing vest but WITH Radio/Capsicum spray/Taser/Gun magazine slots/holders on the front.

Anyway I'd highly recommend waiting for Zen, if not for an AMD CPU, for Intel prices to drop (quite a bit 'apparently', from some leaks Zen seems to have ruffled some feathers at Intel) I personally can't wait for zen because it's been delayed till Q1 next near, but if I already had a computer and was just wanting to upgrade I would wait, unless there's a severe bottleneck/specs just clearly weren't enough for even a playable game. By the time Zen comes out GTX 9xx series prices will crash, 980TI's have already dropped by $100 and 10xx series will settle, perhaps you could do the GPU and CPU in one sweep at that point.

@SkillfulCorpse was it you that ran the r9 290x? I forgot to ask last time, is that 1080p or 1440p? Or is the only difference what graphics mod's you use (other than obviously the hardware) (think you said the mod's were just VisualV and RadianceV)

Cheers fellas, I'll give a go when the new PC comes in (really, I've got to order it first, I've confirmed all the hardware I want, but it's really hard to click "checkout" and say goodbye to $3000, I've tried and bugged out twice now, find myself questioning what I *need* and what I want each time) I knew/had a feeling it'd be the way the game does its thing with colours, wasn't sure if it could touched up. Can confirm for the VF series II, looks sexy as fuck. Previously on series I, only the R8 had clear lights.

So you're saying we could have it, but there'd be no control of it. So in that case would it be possible to have it say "POLICE" on the message board when the lights come on and leave event specific messages like "Road Closed" and "Random Breath Testing" out until (or if) a time comes we can control it? Edit: I never played GTA IV on the PC, did ELS for IV give you control over the message board?

I didn't realise I needed this until I saw it in action. Infinitely improves the wee woo's flashing lights. Q1: This video reminded me because everyone seems to use 'Very Bright' for RadianceV, for me that's too bright but 'Bright' is too dull, any way to edit something to get a sweet spot between the two? Q2: Would it be possible in the future to have messages flash on the LED panel on the HWP light bars? ie cycle through "RANDOM > BREATH > TESTING" among others. Could it be done using anything we have at our disposal now or is this more of a question for ELS V devs?..

Hmm still doesn't look right, I take your point on the size, now that I've seen a pic, is the light bar on the GTA model sitting a bit far forward? Getting daijavu because I think we discussed this about another car but for the most part I think (or I've seen) light bars sit on or few cm's forward of the pillar between the front and back doors.

RBT is ok-tier, being centered around one kind of section of the job. Highway Patrol has its God tier moments, they got some cheeky ass cops on that show. Highway Patrol (New Zealand) comes on occasionally, it's shit tier. "The Recruit", I remember they did like a season of that. That was a that pretty good surprisingly, a good insight of what goes into training.
