@Macgregor well, I may or may not owe you an apology, my friend. I simply don't know. I can't find any of the newest season anywhere, and very limited old episodes on the Internet, not even 9Now has RBT. I've seen this bloke every episode of the new season nearly, he wears full navy, but I can't recall if his partner does. Anyway, someone else has got to know and remembers where the narrator says they're from when they pop up, there usually toward mid or end of the episode. It's a silver Ford Territory with a big bulky ass light bar. Anyway. It could be just that they've chucked old never seen before footage into the new episodes that are airing, now that I've seen old pics of NSW cars with the number plate lights, that seems likely. 😬 hoping someone else watches this series and can help out with this seriously useless issue 😂😂

Yeah I'll find a pic, I didn't think to look at the badge but a few things that made me think Victoria: 1) it had the big ass checkers, NSW use smaller checkers on their livery 2) an FG falcon behind him had the little nudge bar by the number plate and as far as I'm aware NSW put their LEDs in the grille instead if near the plate. Edit: just found a pic of an old NSW car with the LEDs sitting on a bar top of the number plate. The more I look into this the more I think you're right. Still tryna find the territory. 3) his uniform was full navy blue. 4) Well, Highway Patrol is filmed predominantly in Vic, but comes to NSW sometimes too. So.. I'm really not sure, maybe that means RBT can cross the borders too? I don't wanna confirm, so I'll try to find a pic.

Just finished watching the new RBT, and they have this silver Ford Territory with a 20's series light bar on it An abomination to say the least. It was a Vicpol car too.. God damn does your state authorities have no sense Mac.

I really don't like the old 360 lights, even on cop cars. They were hideous and bulky in my opinion, I love the new ones.

Aye-yo What's the audio file name for whatever the Hi-Lo replaces @Anditek ? I got Siren_2 (normal siren), 0x0Dxxxx446 (yelp) and forget what the other one is, I'd like to keep the rest of my vehicles audio file instead of replacing it all because I got other vehicle sound mods in it. Edit: All sorted

Hope this is still coming among your other mad projects, I would be extremely keen for a NSW vest with the gear (radio, magazines, capsicum spray) & taser on the front! Constructive Criticism: P.S: I hope you decide to take the camel pack off of it, if that Ramek I think his name is' vest, god I hate the camel pack. P.P.S Not sure if you can change the colour, but the dark navy blue of the NSW vests would be neat-o on this, instead of blek P.P.P.S: That reminds me, there's no real navy blue cargo/cuff pants in GTA V, just black, biege and camo.

I was real worried about FG being left behind! The mustang front of the new Falcons are ok, but I won't forget the classic trademark teardrop headlights.

Yeah I was logging onto the PC to do that, there's a few things I've not added yet but have been meaning to haha. I've locked myself out of LCPDFR on the computer for 30 mins because I forgot my password, thank god my phone is still logged on but ☹️

At the risk of adding fuel to the fire, because we as a whole have been warned once about fanning the flames on these issue.. Without blasting names and my opinion, making people feel shitty, I whole heartedly stand by the real contributors of this community, and one of the biggest ones in this community (among the others that contribute ALOT), being Macgregor. Now whenever Macgregor says something, I tend to take real note and pay extra attention, and when something erks him, I tend to tread real carefully, because I really, extremely, do like his content. Now I know for a fact 99% (I hope) didn't apply to me, dindu nuffin, I'm not a thief. But I took something different from this.. And what I took from it, when he said about the lack of thank you's.. Without going too queer into my feelings, I reflected abit and realised I don't really thank you devs for the things, and now that it's come up I feel pretty shit I've never really done that. I say 'hyped' and 'keen' and 'awesome', but never thanked you guys, and that's shit because you people don't get paid for it, you don't work for us, you share it for free. So yeah.. That's what I took, and in reflection, I'm going to make up for the lack of thanks to you fellas by, you guessed it, saying thanks - to everybody. Seriously, the LSPDFR experience would be shit without you guys (I don't mind the USA cards but..) or, my preferred, more bogan, less queer way of saying it.. Cheers cunts. You're all good cunts. You've all made for a good community.

I was reading through the first couple of pages and you know who's been real quiet? @SCstJacob I still get real hyped when I see the pics of the XR8 and the VF II, haven't heard much about it though. Any progress brother? 👌🏼 edit: 800th thread post - nice

😱 yeah well I was about to edit my comment and put "fucked if I've ever done it so I don't know shit so correct me if I'm wrong, Mac" Think I got pretty close from my quick geez at their store and site and using my brain, had no idea the Varley pod was made from scratch though. I'm amazed.

Most of the pre-made models ready for purchase are around that $200 mark, even from other 3d modelling websites, some towards the $400 mark (fuck me, expensive, right?) so I would expect custom orders to be considerably more. Price depends on the item itself I believe, obviously a truck or ferrari, even the Varley pod or full Hilux paddy wagon model would be an expensive custom order for what it is compared to say a casual and common Ford Focus. US modellers are somewhat lucky, being their cars are already in most games, like especially the Crown Vic, Taurus and then the Tahoe and Explorer, even F350 in recent games, so they usually get ripped from those games (I think the Taurus FPI for GTAV, maybe I'm thinking of a different car though was taken from Driver San Francisco.)

Not sure about ACL applying to goods bought from the states, thats a shady area of the law but all returns and refunds are handled by MassDrop I was reading. So if you get your card and it's dead, they will replace of refund it, the catch probably is shipping it back to the states falls on you, and because payment is received in USD, the refund is given in USD, so if the currency fluctuates too much (like it does) you might receive less AUD than what you paid (or if you're lucky, more!), and you'll get charged a currency conversion fee from your bank most likely. American consumer law is eh, but it's not completely shady, they handle their warranties much like ours, perhaps it's not fully backed by law over there but yeah, similar. The Massdrop price is still MSRP, they haven't dropped it a cent. I was surprised to see that the mark up is that significant being ~$155 (not inc shipping), not to mention PCCG would save by buying in bulk from the manufacturer, and likely get a cheaper trade price. Not sure what the extra $130-155 mark up gap pays for. I always feel like we're getting jibbed. Edit: Explained: GTX 1070 USD MSRP = 429.99 = 558 AUD, I would of expected the GTX 1070 to be around the $600-630 mark, which covers freight and a little profit margin, a bigger profit if bought at a trade price, not marked up to $730 Edit x2: Tip: Sometimes I find mWave in particular to be cheaper than PCCG, in some cases depending on the item, they're not cheaper.

For any of the Aussies thinking of buying the GTX 1070 (MSI Armor OC 8G) here's some advice: PC Case Gear price: $729 not inc. shipping Massdrop price: $429.99USD + $25USD international shipping (given you might wait a few days or a week longer for it but....), which right now works out to be $553AUD, a $135ish saving on the normal scammy Australian pricings. Dont mean to advertise for them but fuck, I'm considering dropping that money on it right damn now just for the $135 saving on the card. Yes, mass drop looks shady but extensive research shows it's legitimate.

Disabled door lock on More Control, still does it. For a temporary fix I guess I can bind the Y button to F, seeing as that's it's only function but yeah.. Hmm, weird.
-
LSPDFR Australia Discussion Thread
Yep, I have MoreControlV, come to think it's been buggy too - had to add a buggy line he removed in the last version to get it to not crash on loading into GTA V "EnableFastExit=False", I tried =True too for the sake of trying something, as expected didn't do anything. It still crashes randomly. I posted a comment on the download page, but wasn't sure if this was a MoreControl issue too, as it never did it before when I had it installed. I'll try disabling the auto lock feature in the config I guess and see how that goes?

F let's me enter and exit However I want to use the controller, instead of the keyboard But when I use the controller, it will let me enter with the Y button, but won't exit.

Can't catch a break with this damn game, if it's not one bug its another, anyone got a weird issue where they can't exit their car after driving even the slightest bit? gotta hit F every time I wanna get out after driving around, Y on the controller won't work. Y on the controller works if the car hasn't moved an inch since I got in it. I realise this is off topic and support-ish but not sure if I'm alone here.

Oh no no no, you've got it all wrong Installing something before everyone else gets to, and simply clicking 'open GTA V', letting it load an eternity later, having the struggle of finding it in the vehicle spawn menu on the trainer, and then not to mention the task of getting into the fire truck... Man, that's a strenuous task and my hat goes off to anyone brave enough to undergo such a thing.

nearly 30 pages deep doizz* I'm not a real contributor to this community, so cheers to those who do (and those who discuss) for keeping this thread alive. I thought this thread would be a good spot to occassionally see news on releases and some WIPs and such, but didn't envision it'd be this active. It's been good to see the content discussed here, including what we're in for in the near future, ideas thrown around and whatnot. *doizz (d-oi-zz) - shitc&&t lad slang for 'boys' or '[group of] boys', along with 'boizz' or 'boyz', an extension of the word 'boys' with the same meaning, but with added meaning of being hectic sick khunts ie: "yeah, we're getting the doizz together to drink some VB and hit up some sluts in the pulsar"

Yeahh damn, I've always been interested in an online role play like old LCPDFR was, it's a damn shame it can't happen with RPH. I hope MultiFive and FiveReborn/FiveM or whatever don't trail far behind for scripts and plugins. I'd like a LSPDFR Online type experience. I think it'd make for some good videos on Darkmyre's channel too. I've been watching a Canadian bunch role play as Mounties, they've installed the cars, uniforms and whatnot and even have a dispatch system through teamspeak haha, it really does look fun, real lack of plugins tho.
