  1. I think it's about time for a bumpidy bump, even though we've sorted out the fire truck is being made we still need someone to take on the ambo sprinter. Starting to doubt someone would be keen enough.
  2. Hmm embedded links are now saying "you are sending too many requests - excess requests are being dropped" I think I might have to change the links in the spoilers to all normal links instead of embedded tomorrow, even though the embedded links all look so damn pretty, it's good to have the preview... But that's a job for tomorrow me.
  3. Yeah I've had that happen before.. Organise my desktop all neart like so: And then nVidia drivers wanna update and screw my shit up. As you'll see by my desktop I'm very OCD borderline probably insane about organisation, even in a cool pattern. For me, this is a messy desktop that I haven't organised in a while. As my desktop hints my laptop is basically just for games and I don't really do many purposeful things on it. Ute_Sign_1 on your desktop catches my eye but (;
  4. You read my mind, was just about to make a WIP section. Will add this in to it in a minute. I think the rank badge on the shoulder should be just a little thicker on the Female model, looks a little thin in the far right pic. #constructivecriticism
  5. It was coming anyway , I just hopped off for dinner/tele. Gotta scan/ basically stalk through everyones profiles and add anything I've missed on the first run, first run was for the main things and to get the thread kick started.
  6. Credit: Vixen ============================================================================================================================== In the interest of keeping this thread from being locked again, here is a shortcut/paste of the guidelines for quick viewing when on this thread, otherwise you can find all of the community guidelines here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/guideline-hub/, quick link to full terms here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/terms/ When you're on this thread, please follow the site guidelines fully, we are not exempt or otherwise risk ruining the fun for everybody. I don't want to see a scenario where we can't have a central hub for Australian's enjoying LSPDFR because conversation has gotten too heated and the fun has been ruined by some people. You don't have to remain strictly on topic, let's make it clear that I didn't make this thread to be absolutely strict on staying on topic, this is a discussion thread, please - discuss! In saying that, please don't stray too far away - probably not a good idea to tell us who won your local footy grand final last weekend. I'd like to highlight some specific things that may or may not be apart of the guidelines to go by when being on this thread: - When conversation gets too heated and you feel like you can't keep cool, please take a minute to walk away from the computer, make yourself some delicious ass Vegemite on toast and amazing ass, god tier ass, cup of hot Milo, and then come back with a level head. If you've still got a serious bone to pick, take it to the private messages. - Whilst this isn't a tech support thread - If you need help with an Australian mod, please ask, there's lots of smart minds here and it's probably the only part of the forums where nearly everyone is using all the same vehicles/mods as you, however please consider PM'ing the developer first. - Don't feel like you can't talk about stuff outside of on-topic LSPDFR/Mods - but the point is please don't stay off topic for five pages, if you can see the off topic conversation will go on for a while please make a private group chat - this is in the interests of both keeping the site tidy and keeping it as on topic as possible without being all strict-y dictator-y about it, we're human, we discuss, we discuss on and off topic, but if it's going to be an extended or not-so-pretty conversation, take it to the privates. - I'd particularly like to highlight; don't gang up on people or abuse people. If you've got beef, bitch about someone behind their back in a group convo (it's far better that way, trust me) or talk out your problems directly in PM's. If you follow these as well as the guidelines below,, we should be sweet to have a great discussion thread with zero threat of being locked. Thank you! ============================================================================================================================== * For the last few months I've slacked off with updating this post with newly released mods (I doubted whether anyone actually used it); over the coming weeks I'll endeavor to get around to fully updating all lists to show all relevant releases. Thanks for your patience. ============================================================================================================================== This thread is a general discussion thread for Australian LSPDFR players and LSPDFR Australia fans, this main post will feature a list of many things including youtubers that feature an Australian theme in their videos, some must-have Australian cars and mods and the profiles of some awesome developers of the Australian cars, characters, audio files and scripts. For a while I was thinking why isn't there an Australian discussion thread? Why doesn't someone make one? But I must admit the final "yeah, nah, screw it, I'll be the one to do it why not" was prompted by Macgregor's status update: "Someone should make an Australian discussion thread". I think this post will be ever-evolving and an ever-useful hub for us Aussie gamers looking to make our game feel right at home. Basically all this thread is, is a collaboration of links put together in one easy to find spot, and a central place to discuss. I'll be constantly editing this main post to update info, and I'll try not to use reply's so that the info is all in one spot, one post. Use the rest of this thread to discuss, suggest, or update on anything. Cheers. If you want me to add anything to any list, just give me a shout and I'll get onto it. ============================================================================================================================== MEDIA CHANNELS TO SEE: DEVELOPERS TO KEEP UP WITH: MUST-HAVE PLUGINS/SCRIPTS/CALLOUTS, AUDIO AND MISC FROM AUSSIE DEV'S: MUST HAVE CAR MODELS: AUSTRALIAN VEHICLE SKINS: AUSSIE DEV'S TO CHECK OUT ON OTHER WEBSITES: Request's for developers: Work In Progress:
  7. IT'S FINALLY HERE! EEK! I can't keep my cool, this is too awesome.. Great work, keep it up Mac! I would definitely convince you to. ;) I think you should, but of course I would..
  8. If I want to run two liveries on this car, what do I need to do as well as adding the 'car_sign_2' texture into the .ytd file?
  9. See Hystery's comment for the explanation ---------------------------------------- ----------- Also I have a feeling the next update/fix to get EUP working on the latest GTA and Rage version might take a while as per header on the thread " Next EUP updates and add-ons, as well as support, are currently on hold. As I need a break to recover from an injury, go out, work on other mods than EUP and enjoy playing the game sometimes too. Sorry in advance for any inconveniences. The rest of the team are working hard on adding and improving EUP scripts (@AlexBraun and @PieRGud) " So I feel like tagging @Alex_Ashfold won't help much, we need to get on to @AlexBraun and @PieRGud, but I'm sure at this point they're already working on something.
  10. Bump / well now we know a fire truck is on hold but atleast on the way, any news for an ambulance/ anyone with access to a sprinter to edit?
  11. Well wow, shit, so you do learn something new every day. That's dedication and a solid effort. For that, I thank you Macgregor.
  12. Never seen that or been explained to me, ease up chief. I don't read through every comment on every plugin page on the odd chance that someone has explained it, there's 28 pages of comments here alone.
  13. I just didn't think that modelling a vehicle for GTA included going to those lengths. I still kinda think you're pulling my leg. I thought maybe someone had already 3D modelled the cabin and was selling the templates or something. Off topic for a sec here - Any of you guys hopped onto GTA after update and had either Traffic Control, RAGEShowMyLocation or EUP crash instantly when loading in? I put the new update.rpf in the mods folder, I haven't experienced these individual plugins crash on loading in though. Is there something else I'm meant to do or is it the mods that need to update?
  14. My whole game was crashing until I updated the update.rpf in the mods folder (I think that's what you're talking about) however EUP (RageShowMyLocation and Traffic Control too) still crashes on loading in since the new update.
  15. This mod crashes instantly on loading in, I think it might need updating. Take comfort in knowing it's not your mod, this is also happening with RageShowMyLocation and EUP Clothing
  16. Shit, like, the real cabin? Surely surely not.
  17. What do you mean "buying a cab"? To me I see a cab, haha! Isn't that good enough? Hey a RFS/CFA truck is something I was keen to see but was never expecting.
  18. PgUp replied to geoano's topic in Legacy
Just loaded in and these plugins instantly crashed: TrafficControl RAGEShowMyLocation EUP Clothing I've never experienced this while updating, so what's the go do we have to wait for those mods to be updated for the newest GTA version?
  19. Fair enough, so you guys are working on this together? It looks nice.
  20. http://gtapolicemods.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=3275&catid=newimages#post9081 I've just seen this in the gallery on gtapolicemods by a user 'bulldogs11991', he didn't add a description or an ETA but it says it's for GTAV on the side, it looks like it's still a fair while off, but wow.
  21. The point wasn't to convince someone to try something illegal, it's just something that showed up when google searching about how to edit these models and why they wouldn't import. As I said the models were obviously different, but wouldn't really matter the biggest issue was the lights. You're right, I guess the best thing to do is wait for the Macgregor and Donnzy models to be released, you better include that high quality Australian siren you edited up in the package too, Mac.
  22. Anyway while we're at it, in the hopes that we find unlocked versions of these vehicles and someone wants to edit these, without pushing the friendship I was thinking of this too: ^The NSW Fire and Rescue truck included in the same pack as the ambulance. - It looks to be the same model as the MFB truck I've seen on this site, which I think is just a danish or british truck with difference textures. Again the livery is fine, the model is a bit off but meh, as close as it'll get at this point but it really erks me that all of the lights are blue (I've not used this model in the game but I'm assuming it's missing rear flashing lights too) Again, the real life counterpart to the GTA model. This one's probably a bigger task than the ambulance but again whoever can take it on would be doing a solid for the Aus LSPDFR community. There's a bit of a difference between the models but not much, it's got a bit of an extra space between the cab and the back, on one side in that gap is the exhaust as per pic and on the other side is a ladder/step type things to the top of the truck, but for the sake of just getting it in GTA with it's proper lights I think it can be looked past. I didn't actually notice this when seeing fire trucks in persons but it's got two separate bars for the red and blue on each side on the front and the back. If the fire truck and ambulance get done I think we'd have a full fleet of proper looking Australian emergency services.
  23. Exactly why I thought it wasn't a good idea, an idea none the less.
