Well, the mods folder is a carbon copy of Kyben's, because I had trouble getting RDE to work. Considering Kyben's works (his light bar looks the same in OpenIV but works in game) and mine doesn't I'd say maybe it's my game :< No GD FGX for me.

Well there's no emerglights, just rx2700? So... I'm missing emerglights or did moose rename emerglights to rx2700? I assumed they were the same because rx2700 looks to me, similar to all emerglights I've seen.

it certainly is the rx2700 my friend, even comparing between the download page. The defender looks similar with message board but it's thicker. Id upload a comparing pic but it took me 5 mins just to upload that. I'm almost certain at this point it's not using the right texture/template is there a .meta that controls this (texture use?) vehicles.meta and carvar are not changed, as it wasn't in the instructions so it's just whatever the stock one is I assume handling I did again to make sure though. Literally confused as fuck why it works for Kybens and not me.

No no no, I think you're getting confused. I *am* using the NSW GD FGX - http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/12157-nsw-police-ford-fgx/ With the RX2700, *not* the HWP with Defender, and the textures on the RX2700 are fucking up from clean install. Just tried taking the rx2700 texture from the camry and replaced the one on the FGX with it, still nothing. This didn't happen when I installed this on the laptop ages ago. Weird that it's doing it now.

Ah it's RX2700 in this file, it came on dx5, changed to 3, did nothing. Err probably gonna explore the others now? The background to that texture is black. I mean.. Not sure why but could it be using the black instead of whatevers on the template? It really does look like it's not using textures the solar panel is the phone number and website of code3, the bar just looks like when you install a texture on a car that was meant for a different car (did that with the Taurus ages ago) and the ANPR cams are just grey squares

SES has had red and blues for years in NSW, there's also another organisation that for a while overtook the SES called the VRA, Volunteer Rescue Association, not sure if the organisation is more wide spread, but it happened because the guy in charge of SES in my area formed VRA, basically just to make their own rules instead of following SES's, so because he was head of VRA and SES, he suppressed SES and instead of funding SES because it never got off the ground in our area, the funding went to VRA. (Could change, SES want their territory back I hear) Before I go off track I mention VRA because they have red and blues too, and main response is to accidents, they've responded to a mine collapse too. Anything rescue, they even take priority over Fire and Rescue here for some reason. Got SES and F&R mad because it's a third party neither can control, and they've recently got into shit because when they respond, they send everything they got, instead of keeping a truck at base in case of an incident the other side of town. I believe they should have red and blue beacons if their job is even just to respond to an accident, those incidents are critical and timing is critical. No one moves for Amber or purple lights, I wouldn't want my family member to die because SES/VRA couldn't get there, because no one moved out of the way for them.

Yeah it spawns in game like that, except I can see the normal bar for a split Split second but fast as fuck boi it changes to that, it's weird as fuck.

Just chucked whatever came in file when I downloaded it into the rpf, deleted all police YTD and ytf's (don't think there was a _hi.ytf only _hi for textures) and chucked them in fresh instead of replacing, same thing. Im amazed and confused. Edit: the skin was Vicpol, pic was taken before I deleted police YTD and ytf files and imported again. its in the RDE folder, but still in the police slot, and others running RDE don't seem to have the same issue.

Unlikely hahaha, minimum P2 license to join the force here and I think you gotta be in the second year of it. By the time you're on the beat you're nearly on blacks anyway, besides that these cars had red P plates.

Actually nah nah nah, the highway between Hunter Valley and North Coast, sitting in a middle bay where he could go both ways. What was there you ask? An unmarked ute but, wait for it, WITH P PLATES. Also cruising around Sydney is (or was) a black undercover VE SS with red P plates, it even popped up on my news feed too. They're cheeky, and I really thought they couldn't wear the P plates, but apparently so. Anything to get you. I'm mostly okay with it but you usually find these extra cheeky cars pulling over old mate doing only 5 over the limit. While yes, 5 over is over, wait 30 extra seconds instead of pulling over old mate and I bet they'd see someone on their phone. I know who I'd rather them go after.

On spelling confessions: While at school, constantly sitting in English class constantly getting practice with words, I found that I was real OCD about how people spelled on the internet, I'd be the cringey grammar nazi correcting people's their, there and they're's, etc. Now that I've finished up school and it's been a while I find myself slipping, and often muddle up my there, their and they're's, among others, sheriff and 'sherrif/sherriff' is another one funnily enough, even my punctuation has gone down hill fast. Weird thing is I'm still OCD about it so I get real grammar nazi angry at myself when I realise. Hard to tell if I had a small stroke or if it's normal to slope down like this post-school.

Well, considering the textures for american cars are just images of real LED bars taken from google and put in a template, I'm sure we can either do the same or re purpose the LED thingos in their templates, because they don't really have special rights to those particular images, being that it's not their images to start with.

Well damn, I've never seen one but that certainly doesn't mean they weren't a thing, especially in my highway patrol-lacking area. One thing I'll give good old Vic, they've gotta be the kings of unmarked and slicktop - I love seeing the slicktop commodore wagons on Highway Patrol, with limited knowledge I think they're the only state to do slicktop cars with full hi-vis vinyl markings, which looks mint.

Well, I never saw a VE Commodore Ute as an unmarked, so you're right there but there's been plenty FG and now FG-X ones too. The most infamous highway patrol cop that absolutely rapes everyone during blitz's (not literally but this guy has to be among the top revenue raisers in the state for HWP, by god) drove an unmarked FG falcon ute. Off topic. I was looking at the light bar in the game earlier. Any chance of those textures in the Defender bar ever getting an overhaul?

Yeah, no, they're legit. Seen exact ones like that here in the hunter valley, my sister got the fright of her life when she was driving behind one and she thought it was a normal tradie type truck, turned on its lights and did a sharp u turn. Also unmarked Utes are a thing, particularly falcon Utes. Also unmarked hilux's with tool trays and the works. Commodore and Falcon Utes are extremely common, especially around here during blitz's. -------- rangerscope uses Multi5 I think, they just use whatever scripts are available and roleplay the rest, (some of that crew make their own mods to use) It's a horrible trade off, play with your friends but no plugins or NPC call outs.

I'm warming up to those bulky full LED ones, think that's the one you got there. Colours look abit more saturated generally, however I'm curious to know if this is how his game image looks and how, or if it's just been touched up.
