Basically it's the best of both worlds, balancing speed and the practicality of a big car. bigger than a falcon, smaller than a landy faster by a lot than a landcruiser, probably only a little slower than a falcon. obviously a down side is that they're a Xr6 non turbo (might have a petrol turbo version?), and I believe the falcon sedans are XR6T's/XR8's
  5. Basically an XR6 engine in an SUV, I'm not surprised. Lacks the lighter weight and aero's of a smaller falcon though.
  6. Kyben said his game crashed when he added/edited the line for the territory. I'm expecting the same thing when I get my hands on a working RDE Mod's folder He edited his handling.meta so he didn't have to add the territory vehicles line though.

Well I wouldn't usually be lazy, but Im on about my fifth fresh install between two pc's. the first couple was just getting the hang of where everything goes, was new to PC and modding so ofcourse I rooted my game, didn't know what I did so started from scratch again. The latest one however was that I must have fucked up installing either the Camry, a glock or other shit I put in on one session. Its getting monotonous and annoying to say the least.
  8. that infinite vehicle game config atleast lets me load in but it's unstable as fuck - I can't go into the city without crashing. I want the luxury of one folder does all, has all cop cars, .meta files and has an edited dlclist.xml to be compatible through future updates but I want something that'll actually be stable. Ill happily forgo the extra patrols and wanted star for a similar stable mod. Seems RDE is slow to release updates, and their fix for the stability and crashing issue includes using a game config file that doesn't even let me load in. Think I'm stuck with installing cars normally until RDE sorts their stability shit, or I think Darkmyre said he was going to make a similar kind of file setup mod.
  9. mods > update > update.rpf > common > data for clarification, please tell me that's the only place gameconfig.xml goes, and doesnt go anywhere else? that's where the readme says, so there she goes.
  10. Hmm, not like my game will run with RDE installed, not even with deleting and making a fresh mods folder for it. Tried the gameconfig xml the dev posted in the comments too. Weird as. Think I'm done with GTA for the day, this is giving me a fucking headache. How they made a game so sensitive... Man.. Far out. There's no real reason it should be crashing unless a new patch broke RDE.. So I drop the .ytd and .ytf files in the RDE folder, that's effectively like putting it in a patchday, and I still edit the .meta's (handling, vehicles and carvar) found in in update/common/data (somewhere around there) like normal?
  12. If I chuck say, the XR6 into an RDE slot, is that just for my use or when I call for backup will the XR6 respond, or will the stock police car respond? Edit: I'm going to check out the mod page in a minute, hopefully that'll answer my questions about putting cars in the rde slots and changing which ones default spawn, but if you know from use feel free to answer because mods especially on GTA-5mods I find don't have a real good description of what it does.
  13. Hmm I suppose. I mean, surely there's a way to make it clear that the installer is just that, and credit still goes to the real authors. I mean.. When you think about it, it's really just an extended, easier version of the front page of this thread.

I'm noticing my files line up perfectly with American authors, and never with Mac/Moose, to add to the interesting myths and sagas of "why are files not where they're meant to be, what the fuck did Rockstar do to make some people have files in different places". > CD copy from EB Games, files from CD, updates and launch through Rockstar Well I suppose if there's none of that ad shit with the installer like "Download Norton Trial With Installation - Automatically Ticked" I (personally) don't see an issue, if there's no opportunity to cash in. But then again, I'm not an author, so my opinion is really irrelevant haha.
  15. I'm hoping one day to just download one big file and import that into my game, which will include everything, it's a massive fuck around installing everything I want right now, I loath it. Especially, ESPECIALLY, cars. I'm that tempted to just run stock cars for a while.. Wish GTA had mod support like ArmA and ETS2, use a dev kit to create the mods and it turns them into a special file, pop it into a 'Addons' folder and when you load up you tick which mods you want to load in with. A program that'd let me select which mods I want to download and install, and then downloads the mods from the LSPDFR server and installs them for me would be mint for lazy cunts like me.

Ohh, I had the impression that it had to be there in the first place to replace it, because when I put the Lenco in Patchday9ng, there had been no riot files there in the first place and it was crashing my game on loading in. You put Police3 in all of those files or just one? Does someone wanna take this opportunity to educate me on why we put cars in Patchday's instead of x64e, if x64e has all of the cars minus DLC cars? What difference does it make if a tut says put the vehicle in Patchday2ng and I instead put it in x64e or another Patchday?
  17. Hmm I feel like I did all that when I put it in patchday3ng. Im deleting my mod's folder and starting fresh. This time I'll make a check list so I know I won't miss anything, cheers Patchday3ng a good spot for Police3? It's where the Taurus from TheHurk goes so I figure it's the same slot, same folder. Also the 1200RT bike says to replace it in Patchday9ng (so does the Lenco) but neither are there, is x64e the spot those might go in if its not there?

I like the FG-X XR6 to be in the Police3 slot (I'm weak for the US Sheriff Dodge Charger, so I save my sheriff spot for that), but the lights seem to fuck up and flash weird in that slot, but worked fine in its custom slot in mpchristmas2 on the laptop. What am I fucking up? Surely there's a way to get the XR6 to work in the Police3 (patchday3ng) slot.
  19. Yeah, I've seen blank doors too. This had the stickers all the way onto the front quarter panels, everything looked mint, normal in every other way. Yeah I just don't know why this was a thing for this car...
  20. Nah full GD markings otherwise. The code 3 type light bar, whatever the real name is RX something or other I keep seeing. Pretty mint condition, the new falcon so barely any time to smash, you never know though.
  21. Hmm, could we see a quick hotfix type update while we are waiting for the rotator setting? I do hate the coronas too, pet peeve. The sooner I can get rid of them the better. Great work, on another note did we abolish markings on the bonnet or is this not an everywhere/every car thing? I was looking at an falcon GD car the other day and it didn't have the numbers/letters on the bonnet, instead on the roof. Can't recall if 'Police' was still there, from a rough memory I think it was completely blank. Mmm just got jammin' to that song and the video ended, g up.. Good luck getting your Alloytec past 300xxxKM, friend, share a picture of your gunked up engine when it's done. (They're a sexy car but I've heard nothing good coming out of the VZ/VE engines.. It's been a while since Holden has made a good engine.. Actually.. Been a while since Holden designed and made their own engines.) I'll stick with the bulletproof Ecotec until I figure I have enough to splurge on something sensible, soon..
  22. Is Snit's edit to your flash pattern to add environment lights (or your edit to that does the same thing) now included in the carcols/cars we download? Wondering if I need to worry about copy+pasting snits edit in or if it's already in there now. @Macgregor @MooseYTY
  23. No beach = no shark attacks 😉 ACT were smart with their location there. I could probably live in ACT, it seems like a more tame Sydney, although I'm not sure I don't know much about the place except it's got a booming industry for fuckwits (politicians).
  24. I couldn't live in a big city. Too crowded for me, personally, the traffic would fuckin be the death of me. Another thing.. Right hook turns, what the fuck melbourne? Left lane to turn right?
  25. Australia is just a fucked environment. Shout out to the niggas in the red zones, Perth and Darwin (if you're anywhere but Perth in the red zone ya probably don't have net). I melt in summer, I can't imagine living through summer on average 5-10 degrees hotter.
