ScottyTooHotty got a reaction from DaRooRoo in The Shift (MOD IDEA)Hello
Nice idea, however, the issue I see with this is that if you have quite a few calls, units driving around etc then that is a lot of things being controlled and managed which can have a very negative impact on performance.

ScottyTooHotty got a reaction from seanbforhockey in Rage Plugin Hook: GTAVLauncher.exe Exited Unexpectedly?Hmm, I'm stumped on this one. This should now go to RagePluginHook's forums and not LSPDFR's. Not their issue.

ScottyTooHotty got a reaction from ToastinYou in "tutor" requested for making calloutsAs said above by Ineseri there is loads of documents and information that can be found here.
Some things I would direct you to however is @Albo1125's plugin creation series:
The RagePluginHook documentation:
http://docs.ragepluginhook.net/
And obviously everyone here is more than happy to help if you do come across an issue but make sure to search the API Development threads for your issue or one similar before starting a new one.
Best of luck!

ScottyTooHotty got a reaction from Gazarhya in One Million DownloadsMassive congratulations Albo, incredible achievement. You were a very big influence and inspiration for me learning how to make my own plugin and I think this shows why - your dedication, enthusiasm and passion for your mods. Massive well done, here's to 1 million and to 1 million more!

I've got things lined up and callouts currently in development but I want to hear what you guys want to see and play! Leave your replies and suggestions here! Thank you and I long forward to seeing what you guys come up with!

ScottyTooHotty reacted to LukeD in New Callout Pack - Ideas NeededTo add to what parks has said, be careful with your planning. You don't want to rip ideas from mods that already exist as you'll upset other developers. At least 5 of your ideas in your OP already exist, 2 of them being already part of LSPDFR itself. Several of the suggested ideas have been implemented as well.
Unless you plan to do these differently and thus make them seem a lot like different callouts, it would be better to not reinvent the wheel and instead implement callouts you've not seen done yet.
Nonetheless good luck with your project :)

ScottyTooHotty reacted to Albo1125 in [Done] Searching for callouts testersThis is a common misconception. Callouts don't interfere with each other as only one callout can be active at the same time.
Regs.

ScottyTooHotty got a reaction from master1114 in Getting started!I don't have a clue about 2 as I've never played with it at all but for 1 you need to put "GameFiber.Sleep(insert desired amount of time);". Your desired amount of time should be however long you wish the subtitle to stay on screen. It's also worth noting that the numbers you put in there are in milliseconds so if you put in "4000" then that's 4 seconds.
Edit: This is to go after your subtitle code. So it'd be:
Subtitle
Code
Subtitle
Code etc..

ScottyTooHotty reacted to Stealth22 in Getting started! There's an OnBeforeCalloutDisplayed function that you can override, and your distance logic would go in that function. If the player is too far, return false, and that's it. LSPDFR handles the rest.

ScottyTooHotty got a reaction from JOHNNYLAWLESS in One simple questionGo find any police3 model not in the mods folder (x64e/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf should be fine), drag and drop the original police3 files to your desktop, then go to where your modded vehicle is located and replace it with the original police3 files you put on your desktop just moment ago. And there you have the original files installed again! :)

ScottyTooHotty got a reaction from unr3al in Help, LSPDFR stuttering after 20 minutes@tony You're not proving the greatest of information. What GPU do you have? Also, I have heard that changing your game to 'Windowed Borderless' in the settings can help with FPS. Also, don't be a afraid to bump your graphics settings down a little, it's unlikely you'll notice a big difference.
