  1. Sorry for interrupting the US show 😉 Near my city is one of the states police schools. Usually, a lot of unmarked cars (service vehicles) and police buses are driving around, but sometimes you will actually see an old vehicle that they are using (at least that is what I am assuming) for training purposes. Like this older BMW. Image: http://www.polizeiautos.de/
  2. I was in the UK during that incident and visited London (and walked the exact same street only 2 days before this happened). It was my first stay in the UK (1 month), but I have to say, some of the laws that are supposed to prevent attacks etc. are very strange. You want to buy a kitchen knife or even a simple scissors at the supermarket? You have to show your I.D. I really do not think that a regulation like this will help preventing anything. Same goes for the strict 'no underage drinking policy". The fines for selling alcohol to underage persons or the attempt to buy will result in huge tickets. 22-year-old students are asked for an I.D. when they want to buy a couple of beers (legal from the age of 16 in Germany, with parents 14)
  4. I tried playing around with the page file in Windows to see if it will fix the problem that apparently is memory adress error/RAM related. For the first couple of minutes it seemed to be the solution for all the problems to disable the windows page file complelty, cuz i was able to load and unload plugins freely without crashing and also play for some minuntes, but then I got the crash again. Scine noone here seems to be able to help and the RPH forum does not exist anymore, is there any other place where finding some type of help/support/suggestions might be a thing?
  5. I havent touched the files but now I another beheavior appears: I can not load any plugins in RPH anymore as they will cause the game to throw hundrests of Access violation exceptions on startup. I am really wondering what this is all about Update: I have now redownloaded RPH 0.58 and put the new version in. Now the plugins loaded on startup without any problem, I could go on duty and after approx. 3 minutes, LSPDFR crashed with an system access violation exception, but this time it didnt crash the game fully for some reason. I tried to load LSPDFR with the console and this time the game crashed again. What is messed up here? Is it really RPH having problems with the RAM and memory management? I can not think of a possible reason ....
  6. I have just build a brand new PC and downloaded and installated all the LSPDFR-related mods and plugins back in. As I was trying to play a couple of minutes today, I experienced multiple crashes of GTA V, all with the same exception that is thrown (AccessViolationException). I know this problem pretty good, I have experienced this exeption a lot when I was running on 8GB of RAM and GTA V was taking 7+ GB and then tried to write in the area that is reserved for the operating system. However, now I am using 16GB of pretty fast RAM and its not even close to being full. The problem now appears randomply after only a couple of minutes ingame. It is thrown by different plugins RPH plugins, not only a single one. Could this be some problem with the newest RPH and game version? Does anyone experience anything similar? I couldnt fine anything tho. Or is something messed up on my side? The RAM is not full at all and I am almost 100% certain that it is not damaged (brand new and no problems in other applications)). 7. I dont want to turn this in a too psycological discussion, but I can tell you the situation doesnt feel good^^ It also doesnt help when you come up with a new callout idea every morning when waking up. You desperatly want to see it in game but you know you wont do it. I wonder if people that dont have to to with computers and programming regulary have less problems with motivating to work on their stuff. I have about 2-3 software projects in a half year. When you have freetime, and you have to chose between working on coding or watching Polecats new DOJ video or something like that, well guess what happens^^

  9. I have been a part of the LCPDFR and LSPDFR community for quite some time now. I always wanted to "give the community something back" instead of only using the plugins and mods that others create. Many people invest a lot of time into their stuff and thousends of people can improve their gameplay with it. As a computer science student in the 4th/5th semester (Java Development). I already have the basics when it comes to programming. Wich means that I dont need to take time to learn something about programming. This should make me quite suitable for a job like that. So I starded in September 2016 for about one week with a project called AlphaCallouts. It took me some effort but with the help in the forum, I finally got my first, pretty unique callout to run. Happy as I was, I started the next one, nearly finished it aswell. At this point I was very hyped to join like the "high class of content creaters on lspdfr" (please dont take that too seriously). I tested my stuff over and over again, and worked on it. Then it came across a bug that made my game crash. At the same time, my vacation ended and I had to start the 3rd semester at the university. I didnt touch my project for quite a while. Having to do with coding and software development all day doesnt make you want to come home and work on coding again. What that means is that I completly abandoned my small project. I wouldnt say it was on purpose, it just wasnt doable for me. I always thought about getting started again, and my inner me always reminded me how "cool" it would be to have a plugin finally finished and open to download, but that were only thoughts. And there we are. Its about 10 months later, and the situation hasent changed at all. I opened my IDE today, took a quick look at the project and closed it again. I wonder how you motivate to get ypur projects done. My will is still the same and I dont know why I cant motivate myself. You should think that the "happiness" once the project is finished should be enough as motivaten but somehow it wont work for me. Callout plugins have always been important to LSPDFR because if u play alot, you dont want the same callouts to popup over and over again. We already have a good variety of callouts, but some are better than others and even the best callouts are used up after some time. So I think having a refreshment from time to time would be cool. I have so many ideads of callouts that are pretty unique and have some twists that are currently not in the game, but how can I get them out? This has been a lot of personal talking and stuff, but I feel like I need someone to talk about this. So if anyone has suggestions, any ideas or something then hit me up with it. Or maybe someone plans on creating a new callout plugin and needs some ideas for his callouts, I´d be glad to assist him.
  11. Funny coincidence: Yesterday, the police department in Chemnitz received 4 motorcycles for patroling in border-near regions. Those are american and they have a lot of stuff equipped, dashcams, mobile drug detectors, fake document detectors, speed radars and so on. And actually, they have some more lights installed than you would imagine in germany See this link for more pictures: https://www.facebook.com/polizeisachsen.info/photos/pcb.655073984695434/655073958028770/?type=3&theater
  12. Yes, they have. Theres a video where they have their lights on here: https://www.sachsen-fernsehen.de/neue-fahrzeuge-fuer-saechsische-polizei-356616/
  13. Saxony btw just received 70 new vehicles. 40 new patrol cards, 14 Vans, 14 Vans for the riot police and 2 SUVs. The SUVs and Vans didnt get any yellow markings.

  18. I dont know if you have seen it already, just wanted to show you that in the latest VLOG by the Miami PD, the producer put in some GTA footage about modded cars^^. He also said he wanted to see his car as a modded vehicle in GTA V. 8:04 for the GTA Part
  19. As I said, I played aound with the settings alot but no difference. For the other points: The GPU is brand new, drivers up to date, GPU uses a custom setting for the game so I am like 99% sure its the game itself causing trouble^^ I am going to reinstall the game tomorrow I guess, when I finished downloading the 70 GB.
