Police Radio and Speed Radar Plugins Not Loading

Featured Replies

Hello-

I recently tried to install both the police radio and the speed radar plugins into LSPDFR. When i load up GTA through Rage Hook, none of the plugins seem to load with LSPDFR.

All plugins are put into GTAV>Plugins>LSPDFR

When i try to forcefully load the plugins in the console, i get an error telling me that the file(s) cannot be found because it is looking for the plugins in GTAV>Plugins (not looking in the LSPDFR folder)

I have tried putting both mods into GTAV>Plugins (although the readme does specifically say to have a LSPDFR folder) and errors say that the file is missing a plugin attribute. I've also scanned other forums looking for an answer but it has been about 4 hours and its just about 2am so i've decided to make an account here.

I apologize if the solution is simple and I am just missing something basic, i am new to LSPDFR (just got it a few days ago). Thanks to anybody willing to respond/help. All help is greatly appreciated!

I've attached a few screenshots to help anybody comprehend what i'm going through. (sorry, they may be hard to read)

Thanks

Sorry, forgot about the directory. Here are a few screenshots if that helps. I know that it's telling me it can't find the file/location, i am just wondering why. I think i have all folders checked out properly and in the right order. Thanks for support by the way.

Each screencap is a different folder, as you can see by the location bar. First my GTA main folder, then plugins, then LSPDFR.

Also, I have downloaded and tried the troubleshooter. It tells me i am missing ragehookui.dll and Albo1125.common.dll in the main GTA folder. I'm not sure where to get these files, though.

Thanks again for the help, sorry for my ignorance haha. Still new to the entirety of this mod.

Update:

I just tried to launch the game as is, even though the plugins are not working. I loaded up the world (i last quicksaved as a police officer on duty) and i was unable to move or do anything other than open the pause menu, and open the console.

To fix this i tried loading up an older save. It worked as i can now move, but as of right now there are no police stations anywhere on the map. However, there is still a jail icon near the airport meaning LSPDFR isn't completely broken.

Thanks for any support.

Another update:
I have found ragehookui.dll online and put it into my directory. Now all i am missing is Albo1124.common.dll... Although the troubleshooter says this file is necessary if you have one of his mods, but i dont think i have any of his mods loaded into my game.

@ScottehBoyy Correct, except the mod readme (for both) says to specifically have another folder in the plugins folder. As i stated earlier, i have tried just straight up putting the mods into the plugins but i get a different error, this time saying i am missing a plugin attribute.

One of the frequently asked questions for having problem with the mod is that people are not putting the .dll files into a folder in the plugins folder.

I am just wondering why LSPDFR isnt looking for the plugin in GTA>plugins>LSPDFR but instead is only reading stuff from GTA>plugins

Sorry this is a but complicated to explain. Probably why i'm having trouble finding anybody else with the same problem. I do appreciate the help though.

I think i might just have to start from scratch and uninstall every mod and try again. I'm absolutely as to why i haven't got any police stations on the map anymore. very strange.

LSPDFR won't be looking in the Plugins folder, it doesn't do that. It only looks in the Police Scanner folder for audio and the Plugins>LSPDFR folder for LSPDFR Add-Ons. I suggest you reinstall RPH, LSPDFR and Police Radio.

Just an update for whoever needs help with the same subject:

I had an outdated version of Rage hook, so i uninstalled the last one by deleting all the file and i installed the newer version. Instead of using the mods i was talking about earlier, (police radio, speed radar) I switched to Albo1125's Traffic Policer. It's the mod that has everything i was looking for built in.

Install was super easy and i double check with multiple tutorials. Just drag and dropped a few files in the GTA V directory.

Started up ragehook and everything is running fine. Problem solved :)
