  1. Thank you indeed, for letting me get involved
  2. Yep, that's what I did. What siren did you install by the way?
  3. I installed this one. I did some research and found that some GTA update changed the siren sound name from 0x0... to SIREN_PA20A_WAIL and the horn from 0x0... to AIRHORN_ECQ or something like that. So I changed the files names but all the sirens got muted in the game.
  4. Didn't work, no siren/horn sound . Alright, thanks in advance!
  5. I don't have ELS installed, so I don't have the "VEHICLES_HORNS_SIREN_1" file. I'm gonna try again with PA20, it should work as it is said here.
  6. Hello So I installed a siren mod this morning and, despite following all the steps, the default siren sound didn't get replaced. Then I tried to rename the main siren sound file to SIREN_PA20A_WAIL, which is the default GTA siren for LSPD cars, but the siren became mute. I don't have ELS, I don't know if that's the problem. EDIT: I forgot to say that yelp and phaser do get replaced, but not wail.
  7. Yep they keep running. Tase him
  8. @NopeBye This siren sounds beautiful but I have a problem when it comes to making it work. I followed all the steps, but somehow it doesn't replace the default siren. Is that because this is only for ELS? I also tried to rename the main sound to SIREN_PA20A_WAIL (original siren for LSPD) but then the game just doesn't play any siren sound.
  9. I know there's an .ini option to make them exhausted sooner but, dude, they are just like Ironman runners up and down the hills. They run uphill much faster than me (even using STP sprint boost) and they don't fall when running downhill. My right thumb needs a break . So, is there any way to avoid this? Anything that make them slower, or maybe make the other cops chase him through the mountains as well.
  10. Hey, thanks for updating. One question: is there any way to make the red blips disappear after the large fight callout?
  11. Pues seguramente sea ese el problema. Prueba a desactivarlo para las descargas de Chrome o a desinstalarlo
  12. I found the answer to this. When you are playing with a custom character, it is NOT possible to yell through the megaphone. But if you are playing with a preset character, then he/she WILL YELL through it when you press the traffic stop key. It seems like only the 'original' cops in the game can use it.
  13. Now Stop The Ped has brought a sprint boost feature, so that you can run faster and catch them.
  14. Closing nearby roads can sometimes be a good option as well
  15. When tactics are enabled, police vehicles try to pit the suspect. But you have to be careful, because they drive recklessly and ram civilian vehicles. They also crash into nearby objects quite often when trying to perform a pit. Recommendation: Enable only when other unit is behind the suspect and there's no oncoming traffic
  16. That depends on which slot you used when you installed the car. For me it's not police4 but policeold2
  17. I have the same cpu and R9 380, but 8 GB RAM. Why not sharing some?
  18. With the megaphone? I do it quite often but they won't stop. By the way, is it me or custom characters don't use the megaphone?
  19. How is it going @liverlande? I'm hyped . I know nothing about scripting but if you need any other kind of help I'd give a helping hand.
  20. Hi @RCrw notik, is this supposed to make an impact on CPU/RAM?
  21. Alright, I'll try it . If I start with LAO and EUP menu only, it won't make a mess of the NPC officers unless I change the xml files, right?
  22. I didn't know about CleanWorld, I'll have to give it a try. By the way, what population density and variety do you have? If it's not on max, is it worth lowering it?
