  1. Could you convert them to JPGs, please? Bitmaps are quite large.
  2. We no longer provide official support for LCPDFR due to the excessive volume of duplicate requests received and the already large number of answered questions and resolved issues. If you need help with LCPDFR, take a look at our knowledge base and the read-only LCPDFR support forum - please do not make topics asking for LCPDFR support. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by G17 Media staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  3. MODERATOR NOTICE Moved to GTA IV Discussion
  4. We're developing a new clan advertisement/listing system. Once that's up, you can post it there.
  5. Zmodeler is the only program out there that can export to GTA's car file format.
  6. It looks really nice for short text, and is quite readable for that. If you live in the US, you see it a lot; "Interstate" isn't just some brand name, it's actually the font used on most highway signs.
  7. Photoshop itself doesn't really have fonts. What does have fonts is your computer; Photoshop just reads them. You can install fonts for only Photoshop (which stops Word from getting slower due to many fonts), but the fonts are separate from the program. Personally, I love Interstate.
  8. Well that clearly isn't true.
  9. I'm moving this to Content Mods. The LCPDFR Suggestions section is more to discuss suggestions for the LCPDFR mod itself; suggestions about other mods go in the Modifications section.
  10. You can look through the support section to see if someone already had your issue. Most issues have already been had.
  11. Grady *has* released mods before, and he seems to be using coronas (which are known to work in general). I feel like he's probably not lying. EDIT: GPM is down, which is why the link doesn't work. However, it is certainly a legitimate site, so it being down doesn't mean the mod is a lie.
  12. @GTAIVCode3: I think you meant we *can't* take people to court. @guy who compared this to GM etc.: If you steal trade secrets from GM, they will take you to court. If you make replicas of the Impala, they will take you to court. They don't care so much about video game models (unless it's a well-known game or there's money involved; they could shut down GTA car modding if they wanted, but really couldn't care less). They don't sell video game models. They sell cars. If you cut into their car market, you will face serious consequences. We can't force serious consequences on mod thieves. Thus, it's an issue.
  13. Vehicles aren't part of LCPDFR, nor are they recommended with it (it runs best with no car mods). This would be better placed in the Content Mods section.
  14. He claimed to be doing an FDLC:FR mod, which he only showed screenshots for (he refused to post videos) and had mysterious delays as it approached the planned release date. The general consensus here is that he lied about that mod.
  15. Just because SNT goes to 10, doesn't mean you can have 10. Remember when you turned off "Trainer mapped liveries"? What that feature is is SNT having the number of liveries per car hardcoded in. When you turn it off, SNT activates "screw it" mode and just lets you go to 10. You can do the same thing for ped props: it's hardcoded by default, but you can activate "screw it" mode.
  16. Here is the Maryland youth labor laws site. It seems like the answer is 16, but there are restrictions on working hours until you reach 18. I can't imagine it'd be 21, and I REALLY can't imagine it'd be anything BUT 16, 18, or 21. However, you pretty much can't drive a car as part of your job unless you're 18. 17-year-olds can drive under certain circumstances, but it has to be just incidental to the job. Fun fact: The Labor Department declares some jobs as hazardous, and Maryland doesn't let minors work those jobs. Two such fields are: 1. Coal-Mining occupations 2. Occupations in connection with mining, other than coal. Does that seem odd to anyone else?
  17. I feel pretty sure I've seen bucky16 around before. He seems to be telling the truth about the account.
  18. I like the single bulb. I wish they were keeping the rotary, instead of moving to flashers (you *can* do LED rotaries; that's what Vision SLRs are).
  19. OK, now I'm kind of nervous.
  20. Assuming that no unexpected issues happen, they're planning on one.
  21. Charging money for it could possibly be illegal, actually.
  22. I've heard bad things about ex-cop cars. Was it a take-home, or a fleet car? Fleet cars are allegedly treated like crap while they're being used, and so aren't really good for reliability.
  23. Things like EVI taking down his models have led me to just download ANYTHING that I find possibly interesting. Even if it's taken down, I still have it (I don't upload them, though).
