  1. He did make a report of brutality, but the people investigating determined that he had lied. Also, the FTO had told him the day before that he had to improve his performance, or else the FTO would file a negative training evaluation.
  2. The former (though peds are *.wdd). The console seems to pass the string directly into a function call, instead of making you choose from a list like SNT.
  3. @echo04: Check the downloads; I did this a while ago, and finally made screenshots and released.
  4. However, unlike SNT, it can spawn added peds.
  5. Yep. It doesn't matter what rank a cop is, or how senior or junior he is; if he calls for help, EVERYONE comes (seriously, I'm pretty sure that NYPD protocol for an "officer in trouble" response consists of at least an entire precinct responding, if not more).

This mod provides an LCPD cop with short sleeves and shorts, like a cop on beach patrol. You can replace any ped with it. You may edit to your heart's content and upload edited versions, *with credit*. However, please don't re-upload unless you've done something actually new with it. Certainly don't just upload these exact files. And definitely give credits if you do make an edited version.
  6. Again, the devs have said that an API is in the future (not near future, but it is apparently coming). That would be WAY better than specific changes to make it work better with specific mods, because an API lets anyone make mods. 7. It is not illegal. You can't unlock new phones to run on different carriers (phones from before January 2013 can still be legally unlocked), but you can legally jailbreak smartphones (not tablets though). As to legality: You actually do need a stronger reason. This is the sort of case where illegal activity is fuzzy. But jailbreaking a smartphone is perfectly legal in the US, so your argument is false. EDIT: by Iconography
  8. It's not hardcoded into ELS as a damage fixer. The actual reason is that ELS works by adding and removing extra components (just like how convertible roofs are removable), and GTA handles changes to extras by resetting the model entirely.
  9. Why not? "I don't like it" isn't very constructive.
  10. Actually, guys, this isn't on topic. We're supposed to talk about worst traffic cops. Using a tank is clearly best traffic cops.
  11. Sure, terrorists, blah blah blah. But isn't it really more important for the NYPD to devote a tank to fighting the scourge of people parking for 2 hours and 10 minutes in a zone CLEARLY marked "two hour parking"?
  12. What can cause an SMPA60 error BESIDES modding a saved car? In BOGT, I know that I haven't modded any of my saved cars, and the game loads fine, but it will sometimes crash with an SMPA60 when I'm nowhere near a safehouse. Why?
  13. That model is locked, meaning that you can't modify it. You'd have to make a new one from scratch.
  14. They use the same base car, but I think Caine is better about low-poly details.
  15. Who cares if other people give huge fines? It doesn't affect you at all.
  16. LCPDFR is generally designed to be sort of realistic, not arcade-style. This is sort of an arcade-style idea (not that those are bad, just that they don't really fit so well with LCPDFR). Also, about the backup: Calling for FDLC or medical backup is actually essential to certain playstyles (such as if you're using Braveheart's mod). The idea that you'd have to get to a pretty high rank to call SWAT if you're in a shootout (which isn't just a result of LCPDFR missions; it also happens if you fire a single shot in Hove Beach) is sort of ridiculous. Again, pretty arcade-style. There is a mod (PPM) that focuses on the arcade side of things, but that's not really what LCPDFR is about.
  17. It'd be a shame if something was to happen to them...
  18. You're really bad at this whole "undercover" thing. I bet you don't even look like a chicken.
  19. @Nostalgia: The cop has 2 sets of pants; only one has a belt (the other is designed to go below the long raincoat, so it's only the bottoms of the legs). Make sure you're using the correct one.
  20. What if you try adding it to a different slot, like _feet? If it doesn't work there either, it's an issue with the part itself, not with making it a suse.
  21. Huh. You learn something new every day.
  22. As far as I know, cops don't routinely use firearms taken off dead suspects. Not sure how it's more "authentic" than just having an armory (which police departments *do* have).
