  1. You misunderstood Break. All ELS cars work on ELS 7. Not all ELS cars work on ELS 6 - some only work well on 7.
  2. Only 4 of the 10 cars are still *in* service. Most are LONG gone. Maybe because it's too bland? (not that it's inherently bland, but because it's so omnipresent it just fades into the background)
  3. Aww. It feels like it should have been (mapping the spotlight is something you can sensibly do with ELS 7, as TKDN mode lights don't flash, but are only used when you hit "TKDN")
  4. Extras 1-9 are for *every* car. Read the manual, section 5.1, for how ELS works.
  5. Is the spotlight also mapped to the TKDN lights?
  6. Well, that *is* kinda the point of a "coolest cars" list...
  7. The codes in the INI are Virtual-Key codes, and it doesn't look like there are codes for scroll wheels. That said, you could see if there's a program out there that can take in the scroll events and emit keystrokes.

  9. ELS does clear out cars under certain circumstances when there are too many. This is also why cop cars disappear ahead of you if you're driving with a high wanted level.
  10. Looks like a Whelen Edge.
  11. From looking it up: That means something might be seriously wrong with Windows (not ELS). You might want to check that out.
  12. I think EFLC has this flag set already, in a vanilla install. Certainly on Steam, it does: I ran this program, loaded EFLC.exe, and the flag was ticked; I unticked and reticked it, hit "save", and the checksum of the resulting file was the same as the checksum of the original.
  13. Harper: One resource I've found quite helpful is the freenode channel #gtaivnetscripthook.
  14. You could always look at Caine's setups over at GPM. He did it as both what you described and as ELS-H/ELS-ROTA. They both work well.
  15. Could you give more details?
  16. ELS-DN, or ELS.NET? Or will it be like SHDN, with multiple acceptable names? And is ELS.NET basically "like ELS, using coronas instead"? Will the configs look ELS-like (aside from the actual lighting going in the config)?
  17. NY won 5-0. I left after the 5th goal. Michael: Toronto's collapse was why I even stayed into the 3rd period. I probably would have gone home if Boston hadn't just come back from down 3.
  18. Um, that *wasn't* rude.
  19. Please fix the title of this thread; don't type it in a way that hurts people's eyes. Thanks.
  20. Skins also need permission, if you use someone else's stuff. However, people might get started tweaking skins for personal use, while that's not possible for models.
  21. You sure that isn't ELS.asi? Because it looks like ELS.asi.
  22. No, Zmodeler is completely different than things like AutoCAD and Inventor and other CAD software. The difference is sort of like vector (CAD) vs. bitmap (Zmodeler/3ds max/etc.) pictures. CAD software creates models with dimensions in real-world units, and the model in the software is treated as sort of a representation of an idealized model. That's how you get things like constraints and parametric modeling. The biggest way you can tell this is that you don't, in the end, care about the model in CAD format; you care about an actual physical thing that is being made to the specs of the CAD, and all the CAD model is for is to produce 2D drawings, or CNC code for a machine shop, or a designer saying "yes, that works" or "no, that doesn't". Zmodeler and 3ds max are intended to make 3D models that are useful in their own right, because you'll make a video or game or something like that out of them. In Zmodeler and 3ds max, you care about how many polys are being used in your cylinder; in real CAD, you just say "here's a cylinder", the software displays that with as many or as few polygons as it wants, and you don't worry about it. As far as I know, there's no concept of parametric modeling in Zmodeler and 3ds max.
  23. Holy crap that looks good.
