  1. It sounds like you want to use Express Mode, which replaces all ELS keys with a single key: the default siren key. Pressing that key will then turn on sirens and lights. To turn on Express Mode, hit Ctrl+Backspace.
  2. I have trouble blaming a network for making programming decisions to maximize profit. It's kind of their job.
  3. Yeah, it didn't download right, I think. Try downloading again (left click on "Download").
  4. What's the icon look like? Also, how'd you download it? Did you right-click the link and hit "Save target as", or did you just hit the Download button?
  5. Not necessarily. Do you have any reason to believe it was making them more money than another show would? No matter how much you like a show, doesn't mean it gets great ratings or makes them money.
  6. And me? (also, is there a reason you don't just post a Mediafire link?)
  7. You can't change too much; you can change the patterns, but you can't make the primaries go on on stage 2. Caine gave me the same response (ELS is built around the stages) when I asked if we could make a car skip a stage according to an ini setting, so it seems like it'd be hard to change much about the stages. The primaries do have some patterns that are intended to be directional. Are you saying you want more?
  8. The title of the thread says E-Q2B, not Q2B. The E-Q2B is a Federal Signal siren designed to replicate the sound of a Q with an electronic siren (which draws much less power) (http://www.fedsig.com/products/310/e_q2b).
  9. Scripthook needs .NET? Really? Keep in mind that ELS doesn't use Scripthook.NET (which is what LCPDFR uses). sgtdonuts: Does the bug happen with dsound?
  10. Are you sure the specific config files end with .ini? Notepad by default tacks .txt to the end of the filename; you have to change the filetype to "All Files" or put the whole filename in quotes to make it save it as something else.
  11. Glad to see there's a workaround that works for you.
  12. All the abbreviations are explained in the manual (page 12)
  13. It can just work with no special configuration. However, if you go into the vehicle config file, you can set the Slicktop option to true, which changes lighting reflections to be more focused and smaller (better simulating real slicktop lights).
  14. NOTE: You don't always have to make a new config file. If you just turn the car to "on" and leave it on default_config, you'll get a default ELS 7 config for the car. This config works perfectly fine as-is. You only need multiple config files if you want different settings for different cars.
  15. Why does Rockstar Social Club stop you from running the game? You are using a legal copy, right? If so, dsound works perfectly fine.
  16. Read the manual; it's now lighting type ROTA (available for both PRML and SECL, not just PRML).
  17. That will also turn off secondaries for AI (which is presumably what you want, as AI operates at stage 3).
  18. Yes; set pattern type to ROTA in the config.
  19. It should. I tried testing with your Predator, but the Predator wasn't working right (in general, not just lighting).
  20. You don't have to; you can reuse a config file for multiple cars. If you want to change just one car, you do need to make a separate config file for it, but if a lot of cars have similar configs (for example, CJ24's LCPD vehicles with Liberties), you can just use one for the lot.
  21. Other people who are crashing: Do you all use xliveless, or does anyone use dsound? I just tried with xliveless and it worked, but I have suspicions about a reason it might bug with xliveless.
  22. If they want to read this thread and respond, they can. If I tell you who, the only thing I can see that you'd do with that is PM them; PMing someone without their permission for support is actually considered spam. If they want to help out, they can. If not, I don't see a reason to drag them into this.
  23. I highly doubt 80% of people here play multiplayer. And I wasn't assigned to help with individual questions or anything; I'm doing it of my own free will.
  24. You can also put quotes around the name (including the .ini); that stops Notepad from adding .txt.
  25. People did test it in MP. However, I'm not sure if they're as willing as I am to help with individual issues.
