  1. Depends, but my favorite is generally a Go Rhino not-wraparound pushbar.
  2. Thanks for the site link! I've never seen it before, so I'll check it out.
  3. Yes, you can. Just edit emerglights_emis to change the color they flash, and emerglights to change the color of the glass. Or, copy either file from a car whose setup you like.
  4. You can change lighting colors quite easily.
  5. emerglights.png has transparency, so Paint won't work. Make sure to keep the transparency (I think Paint.NET has it so pasting translucent over translucent will just replace, not combine, which is nice here). I second the suggestion about GIMP. From what I've seen, it's as fully featured as Photoshop, but about $700 more free.
  6. Where's the "however"? My local PD uses almost all blue (2 red lights in front and rear, rest is blue). However, I just prefer the classic California setup (which is also what the DC Police use; I use the same lightbar and colors).
  7. The towtruck mod in the video used a default truck. I've been considering making a parking ticket mod with towtrucks; if I did that, the towtruck model would be selectable in an ini file, and so you would be able to add the TLAD towtruck to IV or BOGT and use it. Unfortunately, I'm in school now, so don't have a ton of free time.
  8. I PMed the guy who uploaded the pics and asked him where he got the skins, but he hasn't responded.
  9. Right click it, select "Properties", and uncheck "Read only".
  10. The other weird part about that is I'm pretty sure lights and sirens exempt you from traffic laws. I can't imagine a cop getting in trouble for running a red light on the way to a call.
  11. Isn't KevinDV a member here? Wouldn't he be a better person to PM?
  12. http://www.gta4-mods.com/search/fbi Many of those have no ELS.
  13. Is it just me, or is the /cops/ gone now?
  14. cp702 commented on PryerGaming's gallery image in GTA IV Galleries
  15. http://en.wikipedia....Court_of_Nevada Given reasonable suspicion (which basically means that you can point to something specific as justifying the suspicion), police can require identification in 24 states, and it is illegal to refuse. Some real cops. Others go to the drivers side. It depends on the officer.
  16. That was WELL after the post you're quoting.
  17. A Tahoe with a regular linear light bar and a traffic advisor would be nice. I know KevinDV has a Tahoe with an Edge, but it would be great if there was also the traffic advisor.
  18. They couldn't block xgweb.co.uk though, right? At least, they shouldn't be able to block a British site.
  19. You can't use liveries on stock cars. Luxart did map them at GPM; those have the same design as stock, relatively low poly (compared to real cars, at least), and a template.
  20. For the patch, I assume that it would use pedvariations to spawn it? Could the texture for it also end with _a? That might let me add transparent textures to make it only happen sometimes.
