  1. I don't think anyone *can* make a good script for that. I'm not sure you understand how insanely complicated making a good AI is. And scripters have it MUCH harder than developers, because you have much more limited tools. Fun fact: GTA exists because of bad police AI in a racing game.
  2. @Hunter: You have heard of this in the US. It's called a sheriff.
  3. Scripts aren't limited to GTA-related functions. They're fully fledged .NET programs, so you can use any .NET functions, including network functions. So, look up .NET networking.
  4. Actually, here's Lt. Caine's section, if you want to look through it yourself: http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=cat&id=10
  5. Maybe some of Caine's older model impalas? e.g. http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=462 http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=351 Also, http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=307
  6. Do you want it to have flashing lights, or not?
  7. So the beacons on the Bearcat didn't work out?
  8. Outline Object: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=4923 EDIT: Haven't used it myself (I use Photoshop for skins now), but it was what came up on a search.
  9. Are there still bugs being found in RC3?
  10. Out of curiosity, why not Paint.NET? It's much closer to GIMP in functionality than Paint (at least, if you add free plugins).
  11. You guys realize that Rockstar makes much more money from console, right? Not only do more people play it on console, but a LOT fewer people pirate it. Once it's released for PC, there will pretty quickly be cracked versions; by holding off for a few months, they can make money off people who want it quickly.
  12. No, he means EPM.
  13. The thing is, I'd rather not edit my visualsettings to change light intensity if I don't have to. So, if I could modify the light textures in Photoshop to be brighter, that would be nicer.
  14. There is a mod called EPM, which pretty much does that. It doesn't really work with ELS, but I just realized that you could use it with the strobe mod (so they would rise up).
  15. EVI, One thing I've noticed is that the lights on your vehicles tend to be much, much dimmer than on other modeler's vehicles (since they're designed for ENB). Is this just a texture thing, or is it a model thing? If it's a texture thing, is there a way to make them bright?
  16. It's actually 2 light sticks that rotate to vertical to be substantially higher than a lightbar.
  17. Hey, we live in the same county! Where in it do you live?
  18. Mods, you can probably remove this thread, now that there's the sticky in Content mods.
  19. I like this one (though, ideally, without a red steady burn and with the lights on the front bumper up on the grille):
  20. Also, any hope for a non-K9 Utility PI?
  21. INDIANA!? It's that big?
  22. You could look into GlovePIE to make the mouse emulate keystrokes. Maybe use it with extra mouse buttons, or a horizontal scrollwheel.
