  1. In general, you use GIMS (google it). Install it, and then it will show up in max under the utilities tab. Hit "start", "export ODR/WDR", and it'll save it in .odr format. Then, use OpenIV, New, Import OpenFormats, select the .odr. I think there's a particular structure to .odrs, though, so you should look into that.
  2. Or add a line nstockade to handling.dat.
  3. Could you do a version of it with an MX7000?
  4. If that isn't in the vehicles.ide line, the car won't have liveries, period. If you reinstall, it wouldn't help; it doesn't show up in police vehicles.ide lines by default.
  5. I've considered getting rid of troopers in Alderney, and just spawning them throughout all of LC using TSB.
  6. This is a mod for the PC versions of GTA:IV and EFLC. Buy either one of those games for PC. Then, download the mod from this site (it's free), and run the installer.
  7. There's a light *inside* the back window, I think. Look on the other side, you can see it more clearly.
  8. They're based on the old Crown Vics, but aren't exactly the same.
  9. For the Bearcat, could you add some lights on the front of the roof? Either a lightbar or just a few beacons.
  10. As does Mercury. They are the same basic platform, with 3 versions for market differentiation. US and Canada use the same vehicles, the same lightbars, the same types of paint schemes, etc. Also, I'm pretty sure he meant he wants to stick to US *departments*, not US-built cars.
  11. Paint.NET is also a perfectly good image editor. MS Paint is about as bad as you can get and still call yourself an "image editor" (though, I have technically performed some image-related tasks with the "cat" command, so there *is* worse than Paint).
  12. If you want all cops to be hatless, open the common/data/peds.ide file in a text editor, find the lines for m_y_cop and m_m_fatcop_01, and change the second entry in each line to "null".
  13. Are those non-ELS lights on the trunk lid?
  14. Is there any chance of seeing that Explorer?
  15. Does the Thames Valley Police not have them, or does the Road Crime Unit not have them? Also, what's TSG?
  16. There aren't necessarily public blueprints. Armored vehicle companies often keep those secret for security reasons.
  17. OTOH, the devs might be too busy playing GTA V to develop LCPDFR.
  18. cp702 commented on Custo's gallery image in GTA IV Galleries
  19. An expansion for GTA focusing on police would be awesome, but I doubt it'd be anything particularly realistic. Also, the DayZ mod is apparently being spun off with the help of the company that developed the game it's based on.
  20. I think I heard somewhere that if you set a car's driver to the Criminal relationship group, then he will run if you try to pull him over. Then you could tell players to try to pull the robber over, at which point it would become a chase.
