have you confirmed that you have ONE asi loader in your folder? If you have BOTH xlive.dll and dsound.dll then that can cause problems, if you have none of these, run the LCPD:FR installer again and ensure that the option to install dsound.dll is checked.

Bandicam also take pictures, and uses more file types.

Grady is a relativly new scripter, and is learning everything as he goes, plus his time is also split with life, Sam on the other hand has a lot more experience with scripting, son obviously it's going to be a little more polished when it comes to a mod by Sam. EVCS is nothing like ELS, ELS uses the extra system, while EVCS uses coronas, so obviously they are going to look lots different, also ENB's which modify your corona will affect how your EVCS looks. Grady has looked in to using his own coronas, but has decided to just stick with the default GTA IV coronas. I'm also talk with him about multiple parts of his script as to how he could improve them. This is a script made for the people and feed back is welcomed, but Grady is not an active memeber of LCPD:FR, hence why these topics have been started by other members, so don't expect support in this forum.

the scripts folder should be located within the same folder that your LaunchGTAIV.exe is in, I doubt that would be Common>Data.

Try using the latest ScriptHook 1.7.1.7, this might be your cause. They will be added in the future, he's coding everything for just police for now, then when everything is set up right he will just copy/paste the code for police and make it for the other cars, rather than have to update multiple lines of code each time.

This is a planned feature. You will be able to customize all the prefix indicators, I'm just using O for the strooper as in my clan it's O.P.P All my scripts will be released for free to the public. My GPS script will have a Public version, but it will be more useful for Affiliated Clans who will be able to put the live map on their own websites showing the units that are online. There will be a free map showing all people using the script, and what clan they are in for the main public release, in the second public release I will make private maps for non-paying clans to use as well. I can not idly sit by as people talk this way.......I think that this thread has gone off topic from the original (joke?) video. You people don't understand, you can't just drop a nuke on anyone you like when you want, doing so will cause political backlash, plus I'm sure it would go against NATO. They are going to talk it out as much as possible, and even then N.Korea will probably have to make the first move giving the US reasonable right to respond. Nukes are not the way, it's like I said over on GPM Anyone who uses Nuke warfare has to calculate the cost involved, and I'm not talking about the millions it cost's to build them, but the cost of the souls. Why should we bomb innocent HUMAN BEINGS, just because of one guy? That's not fair. Would you like people to kill you just because your friends with a colored person? If we attack them unprovoked you don't know who's going to stand up for them, just because China does not ally with them right now, an unprovoked attack might cause them to go to their aid, all other possibilities must be exhausted first, because sure what if you launch that nuke, and then china fires back, and hits somewhere close to home for you.....then what? More nukes? That's not an answer. Death is not winning, and when the war is over, there wont be much to live for afterward..... They do contribute to the world, just because it's not much, and your probably too ignorant to go out there and look before you just start pointing fingers and saying that they are all bad people. press the ` key to open the console, then type reloadscripts this will start LCPD:FR up again. Unfortunately LCPD:FR is not a fully stable build, but they are hard at work on this.

I've used this option, and I recommend not using it. As any mods it detects it will remove then re-download your whole game again, better to just back it all up, then only replace the files/folders you need. LCPD:FR does not open up the whole map when you use it. You can either DL a 100% save, or using the Simple native Trainer, open up Options then Unlock Map (that's what I use) Also on the topic of mods, please note that DO NOT save your game while on duty, or using other mods, this can cause your game to save wrong, and not start up again, and that some mods do not allow you to play the regular missions. (Traffic Spawners for example wont spawn a needed car for a mission, and it just gets stuck (yes this has happened to me)) so I recommend copy paste your whole game directory, and use it as a separate installation (anyone who has me on Steam knows I have different installs with different names lol).

That's actually an air horn, I think he's looking for a regular horn sound. You could modify your horns.ivaud file and switch the air horn with a regular horn sound if you don't mind not having the air horn. As for scripts I'm not sure, never really seen one out there.

also be careful of the scripts your using, ELS V6 = higher crashes, ELS V5 = less crashes. Be careful of your key bindings, don't set more than one function to a key. Also remember that GTA is not well made for scripting, so just having a script could cause GTA to crash, so have as few scripts as possible.

Easy solution....don't use FRAPS. I use Bandicam, and I get a much better performance, if you check out any of my videos I only drop to 27~ FPS. I also record to a separate HDD than what GTA IV is installed on, but I do record at full 1080p.

How about you give it a shot yourself, open up your handling.dat and modify the correct line, change the drive (Tg) to 0.5 to enable 4 wheel drive, and play around with the wheel traction settings, to provide more grip. Now I should not have to remind you, but just in case, I am going to.....BACKUP your original handling.

you can always modify your handling file to give yourself some more traction.

Ok with my first script almost released I have started on my next script ADMS. This will be able to work with my GPS/Location Script to show what department you are in, and change the marker icon that is displayed for you, or this can be used as a stand alone replacement for DAS. With this script I plan on adding EMS and FD skins to the list, as well as the link with my GPS/Location Script. This script is now in Public BETA. I have decided to release it this way as the script is made for use by clans, and this is the best way to allow clans to test it, and offer feedback. With BETA 3 about to go live, I'm almost done working on this mod, and it's getting close to the public release, I'm wanting to get feedback from the community and find out what they would like to see added to the script. I have an CAD added so that you can update your 10 code through this script, an auto update feature sends your location automatically as you drive around, but what else would you like to see added? Not all suggestions might make it to Public 1, but all will be considered, as long as they don't require it's own complete script (I've got lots of script ideas ready to get started, and I don't need to think about more right now) Also I've got a video uploading as I type this so soon I will be updating the main post to include the new video showing off all the features.

I can't say I've used it on an actual ped and had problems, but I'vd had some funny times using it in MP targeting a PC and sending cops and NOOSE after them.
