  1. There is no police vest for the multiplayer characters in the base game. The ones you see pop up in video's or the gallery on here are from the Emergency Uniforms Pack, available here:
  2. Ok, you're gonna have to reinstall all those plugins, closely following the instructions in the readme files. There are a lot of things in your plugin folder that should not be there but in /plugins/LSPDFR instead. Furthermore, everything that is in plugins/LSPDFR does not show up in the RPH launcher or console, those plugins are loaded by LSPDFR when going on duty.
  3. You'll have to edit visualsettings.dat. Don't remember which lines exactly as I'm on my laptop so I can't check in my own GTA files. It's mentioned somewhere in the comments of this file though: You could also install the mod, that might tone it down too, but I'll leave that up to you. That has nothing to do with the problem. That mod allows you to control certain lights, it has nothing to do with the brightness.
  4. Oh, yes, that monitor thing. Well, take your time, like I said I'm away so can't play anyway :)
  5. Are you also doing one for BCFD to go along with Caine's EMS stuff? (I still have those reference pics, and I can get some more from the ambulance if you need them, as long as you let me know before the end of today as I'm away for a week starting tomorrow)
  6. From the ELS download page:
  7. Let me guess, you installed ELS but are still using the default GTA IV police cars?
  8. Actually, I think Al-Qaeda's wave of attacks against the US (the 9/11 attacks being the biggest) was actually somewhat of a response (at least partially, probably some other stuff involved too) to the first US invasion of Iraq (first Gulf war)*, which was a response to Iraq invading US ally Kuwait, which was probably a response to something too. Basically, it goes back quite far to stuff seemingly unrelated. Another large part of the issue is the belief some people have that everyone who doesn't follow their specific interpretation of their religion should die. Either way, simply stopping with bombing them won't do too much. Let's not get too far off topic though, this is a topic about a specific event in Germany, not the background and workings of global terrorism and extremism. *We discussed the whole thing once during history class years ago, but I don't remember any specidic details anymore, sadly.
  9. I'm not joking, I'm merely pointing out an error in your post. As for the people not aware of what happened but would like to know, here's a BBC article on it http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-36880758
  10. Nope. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrorism_in_Germany Actual list starts in 1970, with mentions of other stuff happening even before the 2nd world war in the political mess that ensued after the end of the first world war.
  11. Whenever someone makes one. There used to be one, but it seems to no longer be available.
  12. Sort of good-ish news, it appears there was just one gunman, who shot himself:
  13. Also, take FiveStarResponse out of the scripts folder, it will crash your game as it'll conflict LSPDFR's backup.
  14. May I ask how releasing some vanilla based, lore friendly EMS response cars relates to ELS coming out soon?
  15. I consider as a warning that the vehicle has evaded police on a previous occasion, and might do so again. I don't arrest anyone for it though, I just make sure I can sprint back to my car quickly if they do take off.
  16. Strange, it works fine for me:
  17. That's because it's not a page, it's a download link. Clicking it should download a file.
  18. LSPDFR itself (almost) never needs updating due to game updates, it's just the dependencies like scripthook and the RAGE Plugin Hook (RPH) that need updating, and those generally get updated in a few days at most.
  19. Nobody really knows why rockstar did that, and that probably includes rockstar itself.
  20. I don't think it has been abandoned, I'm pretty sure it relies on the snow Rockstar puts in Online around christmas and new years. Unfortunately they patched that stuff out of the game again early january and it probably won't return into the game code until early december. Quick question though, what makes you want to put in a snow mod in early July? It's not exactly the time of year for it...
  21. There is no point in saving your police progress, as there isn't any real progress in anything except LSPDFR+, which saves its court stuff automatically to a file in the plugins folder. As for the patrolling, you can use a trainer to teleport around the map. If you do feel the need to save the game, make sure you are no longer on duty, and are not using any other ped than the main game characters, then you should be fine.
  22. It's worth mentioning that it is not recommended to save your game with mods running though, as it could screw up your savegame.
  23. That is pretty much mod development in a nutshell, yes.
