  1. None, really. That's a pretty weak computer, anything you add will reduce frame rate which is something I wouldn't want to give up when a bunch of cars with flashing lights show up on screen.
  2. That mediocre PC is really overpriced if it actually costs $1000, but then again I don't know how much the New Zeland dollar is worth, and don't car to research it.
  3. Can you ditch the excessive gloss on the cars so I can see what the colors are actually like?
  4. My suggestion is to save up. Pre-built gaming computers don't cost $400-600. You could have maybe assembled one with a minimum starting point of $600, but not pre-built.
  5. They'll most likely stick to Ammunation. Good commercial though. I made a couple of whole GTA III radio stations when I was a kid since it was essentially a giant MP3 file played on a loop. All you needed was some kind of audio editing software and a microphone and you were in business.
  6. Very good. You may consider making multiple liveries for this as many of the ambulances you'll see rolling around the Boston area are from various companies/towns rather than being from one specific place.
  7. I'll pass. Good effort, though.
  8. This. ^ Also make sure your internal graphics is disabled in the BIOS and possibly in the OS so it has to switch to the physical GPU instead.
  9. You might have to start breaking that habit. You're going to have a hell of a time finding pressed disc copies of old PC games in stores.
  10. All since a re-install would delete all your directories.
  11. Dunno, you may need to re-install.
  12. Then it's probably not TrafficFlow. TrafficFlow loads in 20 cars. You usually only see one or two types of cars in rapid succession if TrafficFlow isn't working properly (IE: you installed it wrong).
  13. Yeah for some reason in game it treats that as a helmet if he's on a motorcycle.
  14. Record on a different HDD and turn down your details. Also, there are like 50 threads on this already. Use the search box.
  15. If you can afford the 4GB go for it. 2GB is enough for today's games but I like to future proof. Everyone has a price ceiling though.
  16. The game more than likely cost more than $8.4 million to make. Several times more. RealTimeWorlds spent over $100 million developing All Points Bulletin and Project MyWorld and after taking in only $10 million back on their mediocre game they collapsed as a company and had to sell APB for only $1 million and their other assets for far less than that. There is no question that from a financial standpoint, it would not make sense to make Grand Theft Auto V for PC only. Having it merely ported from XBOX 360 over to a PC though wouldn't cost nearly as much, and they might break even after some mediocre sales. So personally I can see it happening, but I wouldn't exactly count on Rockstar 100% either. Their recent job posting for someone to port console games over to PC is a good sign, though.
  17. Either like a 3930K or a 4700K and a matching motherboard but they're both substantially more expensive. And yes, that would run LCPDFR and all of the fancy mods fine, but the point of getting better specs is to be prepared for the future. When or if GTA V comes out for PC as an example. I'd be better prepared for its demanding game engine at higher details settings than someone running the build I posted. I don't like turning details down.
  18. That's all? I watched that and it looked like he barely touched him. Those people screaming sound like a bunch of idiots, and people who video tape the cops hoping to catch dirt on them usually are.
  19. Not really, no. Just the less overtaking mod which you apparently already have installed. Try parking like this: Your cruiser shouldn't be lined up directly behind the car you've stopped. It should be a little bit to the left, enough to shield you should a speeding car come close. Traffic in game never hangs up on my pullovers nor do they hit my car unless it's a bus that was behind me at the time of the traffic stop.
  20. The best thing for them from a financial standpoint, I would say, would be to do what EPIC Games does with their game engine and sell it to people who want to develop their own games but don't have the time to money to build their own engine from scratch. The Unreal engine has powered a ton of great games over the years. This technology would definitely be sought after by devlopers like Criterion, NCSoft, Polyphony Digital and Turn 10 Studios. I'm sure even DICE would love these kind of physics for their Battlefield games to go along with the realistic building damage Battlefield 4 already has.
  21. It gets boring after a while. Plus RL doesn't have any respawn points. If you lag out there, you're dead.
