Unable To Mod POLPATRIOT Slot EFLC
Any feedback from people who create mods who'd be likely to know about issues like these?
-
windows 8
Yup.

Windows Vista laptop?
Your graphics card doesn't meet the minimum requirements. It may run, but it's going to perform very poorly. You also shouldn't have made another topic for this, you already have one asking about specs that plenty of people responded to.

This is the specs of the desktop im planing to get is it good enough for gta 5 and LcpdFR
I dunno who you were referring to, but the original poster doesn't have a graphics card of any sort. An as far as those frame rates above go, the 1920X1080 frame rate is unplayable, the other two are barely passable.

Unable To Mod POLPATRIOT Slot EFLC
I've tried both the Tahoe which worked fine in my standard GTA IV install, and a Ford Expedition, they both do the same thing.
-
i want to know if this is good enough
No. The game alone will run like crap, if at all. Raise your budget by $300-400 and we'll talk.

Can People See Viruses?
Yeah you should be using the pro version and selecting full scan if you're using the malwarebytes trial.

Good Cop Pull Over Prank
Check this out, pulling people over for good things: This is great publicity for safe driving and traffic stops, and it's a little funny.

Can People See Viruses?
Did you run the 'Full Scan', not 'Quick Scan' and run the Pro version?

Unable To Mod POLPATRIOT Slot EFLC
I have vehicle mods working just peachy for 'POLICE', 'POLICE2', 'POLICE3', 'NOOSE', 'FBI', etc, but every time I try to get a truck to replace the Patriot, my game crashes in essence, when I go to select it. All vehicles show up until I get to the Patriot, then the vehicle doesn't show, and my character can't move until I use the 'break' command in the command prompt in-game. At which point all distant textures disappear. Anybody know why it's only this one slot that seems to be causing trouble? Mods: -ELSV5 -LCPDFR -TrafficFlow V5R2 -ENB -ELSFix (forcefully shuts on/off AI lights) -VehicleControl

There's nothing solid about 11-13 frames per second. The original poster doesn't meet the games minimum requirements, so if it works at all, it's going to play pretty poorly.

Windows 8 or LCPDFR? Windows 8 shouldn't even install on a computer that doesn't meet the minimum requirements. In any case, your experience in GTA IV is going to be horrible, or in most other games for that matter.

Can People See Viruses?
No it doesn't. No anti-virus is perfect and nothing protects against "all threats". I'd recommend a second opinion scanner such as Malwarebytes or HitmanPro or both. You can download both as a free trial and run each one once. Also if you have the free AVG, it does skip over some important directories in Windows, so I don't even consider free anti-virus to be real protection. I use a combination of ESET and Malwarebytes Pro, and I have several supplement tools in case I think I have anything the scanners may have missed or didn't get rid of.

Obama Live Speech
Agreed, a country without lobbying would therefore be a place without government change; a dictatorship. I'm fine with where I live, but apparently some folks here aren't. I find it hypocritical that so many folks all over the internet hate this system of government so much, yet they don't move to another country or god forbid; attempt to change our system of government.

View Past Crime History - Add Realism
Yup. Would give me a reason to ask them to step out of the car and see if they're carrying anything. Maybe adding a percentage chance of finding something for what types of priors someone had.

More options for pursuits
I think the easiest way to make this work initially would be to break off every ground unit from the chase, but have the helicopter keep it in sight. So you can terminate it and lose the car forever if no air unit is up, or if one is up the chopper will follow only. Although this is cool for realism, AI drivers are still going to be screwy.

1.) Tin foil hat insinuates people who believe in ridiculous conspiracy theories, IE: you, not me. Try again. 2.) Everybody says that, and that could be, but good luck convicting someone of a crime for it. If we demanded it enough, our system of government probably would have been changed long ago. But any election tampering has either been negligible, or people simply don't care about it. And quite frankly, I'm bordering on the second of the two options. Who you elect doesn't matter as much as it might have say; 200 years ago, because policies don't often get acted upon due to the other party in the house and senate sabotaging any changes you may try to put in place. 3.) Wow money influences politics? What a shocking revelation. It's called political lobbying. It dates back to ancient times. Nobody really likes it, but it's not going away. If you'd like to go live in a country where it doesn't exist, you go right ahead, but you're probably not going to enjoy it as much as you do living here. And politicians who give speeches have teleprompters during broadcasts from the white house for the same reason a newsreader does; so they don't screw up on air. They also use cue cards that they hold themselves up at their podiums. Whether you bring out the crayons or not is up to you, pal. I went to school and graduated a long time ago, unlike some people here, I suspect. So my crayons are long gone. If you have some left over and feel like showing us you can color, you go right ahead.

1.) This is going to be good. A puppet belonging to whom? The Illuminati? The Zionists Jews? Majestic 12? 2.) I'm waiting with bated breath.

Pursuit AI
Nope, and there won't be. Driver AI is hard coded into the game and can only be "influenced", not changed. LCPDFR has the option of toggling how AI police chase suspects, but it's not as effective as you might like. I'd leave it alone and just work on your own driving. If you're a good driver, you shouldn't be getting hit by the AI cops that much anyway since you'll be at the head of the pack. Alternatively, you can slow down and let the AI units take the lead. The person running from you will likely screw up and crash, as they often do in real life, stopping themselves so you don't have to pit them.

Corruption- possible feature?
Yup, and some don't do it for the money. "You know, I can get away with anything I want." - Alderny Cop Pedestrian 1 "You want a ticket for being an ass****?" - Alderny Cop Pedestrian 2

Obama Live Speech
My life now is no different than it was during the Bush administration, nor is most people's. I doubt yours is either. can't rip on you specifically, I suppose, but most people who complain about the current president are full of crap, because every administration gets trashed while in office. Tons of people do it, then after the first year of the next administration, they switch targets.

Goat Simulator - Buy On Steam Now
Released on April Fool's Day (April 1st), this game is absolutely ridiculous but is actually a real, playable game. Check it out: http://store.steampowered.com/app/265930/ Watch the trailer and listen to the audio with it, and don't forget to read the game description for some more laughs. $9.99 well wasted. *EDIT* Didn't realize this was mentioned in another thread already since it had an unrelated title. Do what you want with this thread.

Far Cry 3 - Review From An Average Gamer
To be fair, I believe he was mentioned before that major event, albeit only briefly. I think what it probably came down to was that it was going to be a plot hole in the story, somebody noticed it, so the writer(s) patched it. There's always room for improvement, but compared to the other games I've reviewed, it stands on its own really well.

Those pictures are all photoshopped, but the game does look good nevertheless.

What do you think is the worst PC ports.
As far as I'm aware, Max Payne 3 is still developed on PC alongside the console versions, rather than being ported over after the fact. The PC version needed some work to make it stand out from its console counterparts which is why it did not release at the same time.
