LCPDFR Online
I'd play but the ping is god awful due to most of you being in other countries. I tried playing with Olanov and the lag was incredible, plus you have to strip all of your mods including ELS and custom car models. I think until we get a seperate multiplayer mode, it won't be a focus of mine. We have barely any US players. C'mon guys, step it up! Spread the word to your american friends!

GTA IV doesn't work
Once you do get GTA IV to run, those computer starts are fairly poor for gaming, so keep the details turned to medium or low to avoid overworking your graphics card and processor.

0.95
Video card is a bit weak by today's standards. It was pretty good when GTA IV came out, but depend on how high you have the details turned up, Rockstar Games claimed that the high details setting was for "hardware that doesn't exist yet". Check how much texture memory is being used.

AussieMerc's LCPDFR .95 RC2 Videos.
You can shoot the video footage first and add commentary after if you want. That works if you can line it all up. I'll check your videos after I have some food. Just got home from work.

LCPD First Response Version .95 Beta 1 Walkthrough - Part 2 & 3
It depends on of the transport officers actually make it to the suspect or not I think. As an example, if there's a traffic jam where the pursuit happened, lets say on a highway entrance ramp, if the backup unit cant get through the cars, they won't be able to do their own gunpoint arrest. They'll just keep trying to drive forward.

LCPD First Response Version .95 Beta 1 Walkthrough - Part 2 & 3
Thanks all, and thanks for the advice on ELS. I'll take a look into it in another day or so, long work night tonight, won't get the chance to play with it.

Question for everyone???
You're just trolling now.

How can you manage ELS 6 work fine with .95? (not a .95 support related topic)
I use V5. I get what might appear to be an ELS related crash once in a great while. The game usually becomes unplayable once the arrest button stops working. That usually happens long before I get the crash to desktop issue.

Traffic Stop
I've never seen an NPC officer taze somebody before. That's hilarious how they do it in unison, same with the shooting.

GTA IV Zombie mod where zombies run?
Didn't say the mod was based off of a movie. I was referring to how zombies move in different movies. 'Walking Dead' zombies I think real people could take care of in a crysis. Left 4 Dead zombies... not so much. In any case Left 4 Dead 2 gives me a huge sense of teamwork and self satisfaction that I performed admirably to preserve the wellbeing of others. I think that's kind of the theme though. Need to watch each others back to get through it. To each their own, right?

LCPD First Response Version .95 Beta 1 Walkthrough - Part 2 & 3
Thanks, that'll be enough out of me for now. I'll concentrate on testing (and having fun) instead of narrating.

Question for everyone???
Don't start being elitist about countries. He's not the only U.S. resident on these forums. I also don't think he necessarily means physical force on people is the only way to get compliance. He mentioned having presence. That's a very big deal over here. I remember seeing a mini series once about training new hire police officers. One veteran with a newbie partner responded to a call of a protest that was getting out of hand. The newbie was instructed to get them to disperse. He asked politely and got little to no compliance out of it. The veteran joined in and started shouting to move along, clear the area, etc. He didn't do this by being nasty. But he raised his voice and took an assertive tone that suggests he means business. That's a very important thing no matter what country you're from.

LCPD First Response Version .95 Beta 1 Walkthrough - Part 2 & 3
The siren will only stop during a traffic stop while your officer says something over the bullhorn. After that it will resume. G is the default key for the siren, and I have always used that in every single video. The computer system in .95 is brand new, and may have some unforeseen consequences. But as G17 put it before, they don't support after-market mods of any sort.

I'm guessing by damage they mean brick the board, meaning you'd have to RMA it and wait 3 weeks to get a replacement (if it's under warranty). Nice. lol I use an ASUS also, an M4A79T Deluxe. Great company. I don't know which engineer thought having two RAM types on the same board was a good idea or an intelligent use of space on the silicon, but whatever. lol

hundreds of police cars spawning
Not a problem. Yeah they immediately start to blanket the area as soon as you make contact with the suicide call suspect.

Glad to hear it. This should probably be moved over to 'Discussion' instead.

Your city's police cars
The departments can always work harder on drug dealers and prostitution and you can seize theirs cars. lol Fun example:

I can't say I've heard of two types of RAM slots on a single board, ever, but maybe some weird manufacturer like Foxconn or ASRock made something like that. I'd figure that would mess with the front side bus, like it would have to alter its speed according to the RAM, god forbid if someone put in both types at once. I could be wrong. Oh, and socket AM2+ and AM3 are interchangeable. Different than AM2 though.

Your city's police cars
Yeah he explained that to me. Sometimes the cars from the night shift are literally handed to the morning shift officers while it's still running. lol

Your city's police cars
Very nice. How many miles on it? The F.T.O. in my town tells me that they're great for the first 30,000-40,000 or so and then after that it goes steadily down hill after the kind of beatings those cruisers take.

No it doesn't. It's either DDR2 or DDR3, it won't have both. They have different architecture as to how they work, and that processor is an AM3 socket so it runs DDR3. I have a similar processor. And the speed is 1333mhz, not 333mhz. RAM hasn't been that slow since the early 2000's. And your video card is decent enough. Don't crank everything to high, but it should be able to run things on mostly high settings once you get a bit more memroy. 4-6GB is plenty.

GTA IV Zombie mod where zombies run?
Depends on the movie if they run or not. If they can sprint, we're probably screwed. If they walk slow, humanity may have a chance. Also, I don't think those two mods should be installed on the same computer at the same time, never mind having them running both at once. Bad mix imo. I like zombie games, but keep that shiz out of my LCPD:FR. lol
