DIsarming?
You can't simply shoot someone for having a gun. That would land you in court. They have to pose a serious threat by aiming otherwise it's going to be very hard to prove it was justified. And the muscle spasms are only enough to make them not function as normal, it doesn't make everything curl up necessarily. In any case, I think the best course of action out of the three: 1.) Ninja disarm, 2.) Taser, 3.) Shoot, I'd tase (in real life) if possible. If it's pointed at me, I pull the trigger of the gun instead.

Banned from Facebook D:
Can you use an accented 'O' for Storm? That may fix it right there. Other than that, try Google+. :P Although they are supposedly cracking down on fake names even harder there.

I'm scared about my GTA IV.
If you are all using the .95 Beta, downgrade to .91.

new to this
This does not belong in the support forum unless there's an actual question to be asked regarding an issue with the mod itself. Requesting this to be moved please. Also, be more specific. Some people here could write a book on the mod. *EDIT* And evomarc9 what are you talking about when you say 'demo'? If you're talking about the mod itself, it shouldn't be too hard to find... The downloads section may be a good place to start.

Need help with LCPDFR
The wording in the mod wasn't clear to me either, as I stated in one of my .95 Beta 1 Walkthrough videos. You need to walk towards the person, and REPEATEDLY tap Y or N. Just one tap won't do it. He will eventually walk over to you, and turn around. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE. The screen will fade to black and the mission will be complete. Bad guy goes away, cops go back to what they were doing. The AI police probably do not see the situation as "under control" since you didn't end the mission correctly, so it's going to dispatch more and more AI units.

Would i be able to run GTA4 + this mod
If you walk into a computer electronics store right now, there will be only one or two options for ANY computer under $400. You're not thinking realistically, this isn't like buying an XBOX. They aren't "all set" for 7 years with no maintenance or upgrades until the next generation comes out. That's because they do more and as a consequence they change more. The machine should be an investment unless you feel like switching out parts or buying a new desktop every 2-3 years. As far as the graphics card, you'd be best off buying something that wasn't made in the year 2006. Try the GTX400 or GTX500 series if you're looking for a more modern nVidia card. But for the budget conscious gamer, an AMD card will probably give you better value. Use that link at the end of my post. That configuration isn't half bad for the price.

Would i be able to run GTA4 + this mod
That's because those games are all old. Very old, by industry standards. The Pentium 4 processor was last manufactured in the year 2005, and is operating on a single core. Those types of processors are extinct in desktops now, save for the Celeron for workstations and old people who don't want to spend much money to send an e-mail. The graphics solution you have is integrated I believe. And I'd rather you go out and feed yourself for 6 days instead of buy a 9500GT. That card is old, crappy and costs almost as much as your "pretty much brand new" computer. You're under-specced on everything except hard drive and sound. My computer was similar to your specs from 2003-2006. Then I upgraded to a dual core. I wouldn't even suggest you get a dual core at this point in time, as six cores will become more readily available soon. For a machine that would run most modern games pretty well, you'd be looking at somewhere between $6-800 if you built it yourself, probably a bit more if you bought it at a retail store like Best Buy. Gaming PCs are indeed expensive. But you'll have to look at it like a Mac. Either you appreciate what it is and what it does for the price, or you don't. Not everyone can see or use the value in the purchase. You can refer to something like this for a guide, but you may change some things out as prices go up and down, and new hardware comes out. This is a ~$500 gaming PC: http://www.tomshardw...ng-pc,2970.html

Fining Peds
But true, I'm afraid. lol I'd like to enable the arrest function without a baton or gun.

Some GTA IV files I need
Back up the folders you think are fine, re-install the entire game, overwrite the install with the modded folders. Boo-ya. And no, we will not share files, sick of topics asking.

I've tried the site on all the browsers I have. IE, Chrome, Firefox & Opera. I like to stick with Opera usually.

Traffic flow
If you have ELS that happens with or without TrafficFlow. If they are things like Fire Engins or Ambulances, you can expect to see them now and then, but it shouldn't be all over the place. I see them driving around a lot, but they only leave their crap behind once in a blue moon.

V0.91 Error when calling in pursuit backup.
Do you have other mods installed like custom cars or ELS? Saturation from ELS and high poly car models build up over time. GTA IV and ELS itself doesn't do enough memory dumps to keep things going. It will eventually consume all of your GPU RAM, and down the game goes.
- Can i run it?

Software upgrade
Impossible to get to my Inbox for messages on either Opera or Internet Explorer (those are the only two browsers I tested earlier) without right clicking the mailbox icon itself, copying the target link, and then pasting it into a new tab. Clicking on the message does not work, and I could not find any control that says loud and clear "Inbox".

The baton I think is more of a compliance too. I think the taser is our best answer right now because it allows you to put some distance between yourself and the perp, so he can't simply back-pedal and shoot you in the face repeatedly before you either catch up to him with the baton or resort to shooting him dead.

Have You Tried This Traffic Fix?
I thought you weren't supposed to use both at the same time because they cause conflicts with each other or more frequent crashes.

Question for everyone???
I figured you'd have some input like that, thanks. I've been told by family members of officers that 70% of the job is paperwork, but when asking an officer from a neighboring city he said "I'll put it this way: I've had a bank robbery, two assault calls and a pursuit in the last month." Reports are absolutely necessary to document the crime when it comes time to go to court (I got called up for Jury Duty at age 22 so I know how important that really is for a conviction). And I think it will depend on me enjoying the experience I had before I sit to write down the report that determines whether it's for me or not. During my first ride along with my towns F.T.O., we didn't get into any wild car chases, shoot any crack addicts or crack some skulls with a night stick. Instead we talked about the job, why it might be right for me, and experienced day to day activities. In this order we had: -Building check (Certain buildings in the town request that officers show up every now and then to check for signs of break-ins or trespassing). -Traffic stop: Speeding. (He showed me step by step how to run a license in the computer, what comes back and what it all means. When I remarked about her previous couple of tickets, and the speed she was going currently, he still decided to be nice and let her go, because it was prom night at the local high school, and she was going to pick up her sister.) -Traffic stop: Expired tags. (I remarked that the male passenger was moving around a lot, digging for something, while the car failed to stop for a bit. The F.T.O. said that he was probably looking for his I.D. When I told him it was her purse he was ripping through, he jumped out immediately and approached the drivers window. lol He said when he got back that he smelled a heavy scent of perfume in the car that was probably just sprayed. He suspected they had a small amount of drugs but didn't do anything about it.) At the end of the ride along, I felt as if it had been too short. I take that as a good sign. I'm looking forward to requesting another one with a different department to see how things vary from one area to another.

Make it so you can log into the website without having to hit the 'Forums' link. When I click on 'Sign In' before doing that, the little loading bar comes up but never finishes.

ELS 6 crashing
All versions of ELS are unstable as full intended functionality doesn't work on any of them. So consider it an alpha/beta test mod at all times. I put up with the crashes because it adds another degree of realism for me.

What do you want to see more of in LCPDFR?
Not a bad idea. Might be a bit lofty for right now, but perhaps in the release after .95.
