They are unfinished callouts. That's why they're not part of the normal cycle. You can force them by using a menu in game. I wouldn't recommend it right now. They can make your game crash and frankly aren't all that good. They're good ideas though, and that's why they're being worked on.

The only reason Bin Laden is dead is because our government made a promise (without actually using the word promise) that we'd kill him or catch him. I just finished watching a SEAL Team 6 special, and one of the former SEALs from another team guessed that Bin Laden didn't put his hands up, but I have the suspicion that we wanted him dead anyway. He's of no use to us alive. Our government isn't completely made up of simpletons (although sometimes that's the way they conduct themselves), they know that we're only cutting the tail off of a lizard with this move. It will grow back. We did it for political reasons, not for a tactical one. He was a threat to national security, yes, but not one that was any more powerful than the ones who are now running the show in the Middle East terrorist groups.

Mind you Olanov, that every department is different, and a lot of officers carry backup guns, or ones with interchangeable ammo. Just because GTA IV forces officers to use 9mm's doesn't mean we should suffer for it. :P I'd like to use the Desert Eagle but the taser doesn't work, which I've put in a ticket to fix. No word on that yet. And yes, NOOSE is a separate unit that uses different weapons than the standard LCPD, and I play as a NOOSE officer quite often as you can see from my videos. Furthermore, you also saw me use the tactical rifle instead of the shotgun. It's becoming obsolete due to accuracy issues, and semi-auto rifles are becoming the new standard.

1.) Read the stickies. 2.) If it's version .95 stop asking us questions because we don't support that version. 3.) Update to the latest version of GTA IV. 4.) Get the latest versions of the VBNet files and all that crap. 5.) Don't run any mods until you get this one working.

Yeah the bat is there by default, I replaced the bat with the baton.

In .95 you use the baton arrest with 'E' and there's an option to cite the person just like in .91.

Yes, you enter a building every time. I've only answered the call of couple of times because it makes you go to the second major island no matter where you are (from my experience), but it's generally a couple of gang bangers chasing some old lady or some other type of undesirable woman down some stairs with a gun or a bat or something.

Generally speaking the way I operate is somewhat realistic. Revoked = Shouldn't be driving for a reason. Arrest. Expired = Take the person out of the car, and write them the maximum fine LCPD:FR allows, provided they didn't do anything else wrong or piss me off.

Weeks doesn't really take much time, and the fight calls already exist now (somewhat hidden) in .95 Beta 1.

I'm a little frustrated they stole the name 'Operation Neptune' from the D-Day landings and slapped 'Spear' on at the end to make it different. This second mission was MUCH less significant than D-Day, and that's coming from an American still bitter about 9/11 and our response to it.

What specific card in the 6800 series is it? The 6800 series is the same thing as the 5800 series but with better power management. There was no real performance boost until the 6900 series came out. Also, the two version of GTA IV will perform the same. GTA IV just uses the CD for validating that it's a legal copy. It doesn't have to read any significant amount of data off of it. STEAM is a good substitute for copy protection because it will be very hard to B.S. Valve into giving you a game that you didn't buy. Anyway, my point is everything that matters gets read from your hard drive. The only types of games that use the disc in a significant way anymore are game consoles.

Your video card is awful, FRAPS will make the frame rate tank, RAM and CPU won't help you. I use WeGame, and I still set it to half size for my YouTube videos so it doesn't ruin my FPS (hard to drive properly with lag), take up an obscene amount of hard drive space (although it's still pretty bad) or take too long to upload to YouTube once edited.

Rockstar stated long ago the Medium settings on PC are better than the console version of GTA IV, and that (at the time) the high settings were reserved for PC hardware that didn't exist yet. What it really translated to though was "We're overall terrible programmers and put minimal effort into porting this to PC".

You should be busy patrolling, not looking at foliage. :thumbsup:
