all i see is police cars and taxis?
Game are designed with a certain amount of memory usage in mind. I have no idea what GTA IV is designed for exactly (since I've never seen the source code, nor was I there during development lol), but it certainly does not take full advantage of my computer hardware. Most games don't, and those that do, use it hoggishly, meaning that it hogs resources for no good reason, just poor optimization. GTA IV is a big culprit for that.

Missing Textures (Roads, Buildings etc)
Temps look great to me. I don't see any issues there.

Wrong Starting weapons?
I used a weapons cheat in my save of GTA IV, so I have the M4 which I will use as a "tactical rifle", and I have a baton mod. I'd use the magnum pistol if the taser function on it worked still, but it doesn't.

Beta Tester's
From what I understand there are no set rules, but a few things (more than likely) played into my own selection. I am slowly but surely approaching 1000 posts since I registered on this forum in early spring of this year, some of them being support related, suggestion related, feedback related, multimedia related, and I got to know some of the more well known community members on a personal level through STEAM, mod experience or otherwise and I very well could have been recommended as a tester, but I can't confirm that. I also have a background in beta testing other games, open source mods and work with computer hardware and software for a living. So overall, I fit the criteria that I myself would want for a tester if I were developing something that I wanted to be tested extensively but analyzed critically and with appropriate feedback. If you want to be a beta tester, I think the best way I can put it is "Show love for LCPD:FR". But don't ask. That takes away cool points. I was content just being able to play it.

.95 beta players, stop whining..
Thank you for the kind words, and writing down but reports are nice, but we've submitted so many of them that a few developers are now saying that the ones I get are repeats and nothing new. We have several new methods in place to catch bugs that the "public" release does not have that will help us even more. Best way to support us is to try and stay happy, and use what the mod provides for you, which I think is a slightly flawed (through code restrictions, not through design) but ultimately fun experience.

.95 Beta Testing
Everybody and their mothers would love to be beta testers and get new content. Devs have a list going of people who have earned their stripes and be right for the job. Person with 17 posts is not right for the job currently, but perhaps in time with enough effort and experience in the community. I wish you luck on your "tester journey", just don't ask for it or expect it. If you're right for it, you'll get picked.

Missing Textures (Roads, Buildings etc)
64-70C isn't bad for a GPU actually. That's what my idle-peak temps were on my ATI Radeon cards, and I idle right around 60C on my current nVidia card. They usually have a threshold of around 110C.

Which siren is this?
That's an awesome video. I think the siren could have been added in.

Clan
No, and at this point there's very little point to it. Multiplayer more or less breaks the mod because it spawns multiple instances of LCPD:FR, latency is horrible between players in the US and those in Europe, and this game isn't competition based. You're cooperating with other police officers.

When is a stable version of 0.95 going to be released ?
If you check the site every day then you should have noticed the threads that are pinned all over the place that say not to make topics like these. If you don't want to downgrade, then you'll have to put up with the bugs. If you don't care about our forum guidelines and you plan on making a bunch of spiteful posts like these, then you're going to get banned. It will be released when it's ready, as stated before. *EDIT* Didn't mean to vote your post down, sorry Interference.

Running GTA4 on my computer.
You'd have to do an entirely new system. A Core i7 from Intel and a Athlon from AMD have different sockets they use to plug into the motherboard, so it would also require a new motherboard and a new video card, also forcing you to buy a new operating system unless you actually have XP on a disc and are positive you don't want the capability of using more thean 3GB of RAM.

Just Installed the .91 Mod (help)
Read the stickies at the top of this forum section, please. Then post the proper things again (system stats, diagnostic, etc) once you're done.

How to install the car models?
This isn't a LCPD:FR related issue, so this is going to be removed out of the Support section and put someplace else. The cars have to be added using a tool called Spark IV. You can simply use the search bar on YouTube with keywords you think will find you the right video (such as gta iv, car, mod, spark, iv) and you'll find some install videos. The Ballad of Gay Tony / The Lost & Damned do indeed have more police cars. I don't find them terribly realistic, no, but they look alright. I just prefer modded cars because the make the experience a bit more believable (although crashy).

Missing Textures (Roads, Buildings etc)
His patrol car in the screenshot doesn't appear to be modded. In any case, it looks as if you're running into the sort of issue people with modded cars have. Typically if your video card and system RAM get flooded with a bunch of visual crap from GTA IV mods, that's exactly what happens to people. I've had it myself after long play sessions with a few modded cop cars. In any case, your system specs are pretty insufficient. Your CPU barely squeaks by the minimum requirements (as far as clock speed goes) to even run GTA IV, never mind the mod. Your graphics card is insufficient by todays standards, although it meets minimum requirements, and you have 3GB of RAM available to Windows, not 4GB, because a 32-bit operating system limits you to about 3.2 GB of RAM. You also have Direct X 11, it comes with Windows 7 by default, but your card can only render DX9 (not an issue as GTA IV is a DX9 game). I'm going to have to call it a weak computer issue, not a mod issue, unless you have modded cars or other things we don't know about. I'll let some other people weigh in on this topic though, they may have different ideas.

How to record good quality?
I used WeGame but it doesn't work for GTA IV anymore after the last patch I got. I'm in search of a new program, but I'm not searching that hard because I'm starting not to care as much.
-
How to record good quality?
You can't have both. Upload time can only be helped with three things: 1.) Lower quality 2.) Faster computer 3.) Better Internet connection.
- How do I change player model to officer?

Question to the Devs
I'm seriously thinking of recording an album of songs about the beta not having any support and not to make threads about this crap anymore. That's how passioned I am on this subject now. Heres what I'm thinking: Album: Is This Thread Real? - Artist: unr3al Track 1 - This thread again? Track 2 - How many times... Track 3 - This topic is pinned (Ballad) Track 4 - Use the search engine Track 5 - No support for beta Track 6 - Stolen code Track 7 - You broke it? We fixed it. Track 8 - Patience (Guns n' Roses cover) *SPECIAL BONUS TRACK* - Don't ask for support on my YouTube account.

GTA IV & EFLC engine issues (car)
I have that happen every now and again even on vanilla GTA IV. If I keep driving for a bit, the engine sound eventually pops back in. This happened recently today actually during a pursuit. I flipped my car over and I jacked a passing-by car to try and catch up. lol No engine sound, and eventually I ended up falling behind anyway.

help me
I wasn't referring to Teamviewer specifically. But even if you used that program, everything has security vulnerabilities. I wouldn't trust anyone with that sort of thing. Just watch the YouTube videos. Monkey see, monkey do.

BXBugs' New CVPI
Looks neat but it doesn't seem that different aside from the ram bar. I think I'll stick with what I have now.

CAN YOU HELP ME !!!
Usually the map will be filled with nothing but taxis and police cars, but yes there can be exceptions. If you're in a gang area (like lets say the Jamaican area of the first island), you'll get a ton of green SUV's and low riders, since that's what they drive. Or if you're near firefly projects area, you'll get a ton of Hummer style trucks since that's what the black gang members drive.

Need some help with police car mods
Nothing wrong with WinRAR that I've noticed, either.

Ati settings
I honestly didn't play with Catalyst when I had my two Radeon 4890's. Catalyst and nVidia Control Panel are designed for color adjustment, forcing anti-aliasing and adjusting CrossFireX or SLI settings. I don't think you can maniuplate in-game gloss on the cars with it. That's going to be in the in-game GTA IV settings.

Cant Revive
They're probably playing version .91. The .95 beta has a new revival system that has a % chance. .91 was 100% like you said.
