Interesting. Shame that the door bug that was present in GTA IV is still a thing here. I'm curious as to why it does that though, I'm not really a code junkie, so it's way above my head.

This reminds me of when the Columbine Shootings happened, shortly after a school shooting took place here, in Canada. The killings were deemed to be copycat killings and nothing to really be taken serious, despite the tragedy it was. This was also followed by copycat threats in America of killings apparently "going" to happen, only to be nothing but idiots blowing hot air to rile up the population. Ironically enough this happened shortly after budget cuts to the emotionally disturbed, nearly eliminating any assistance to those who were mentally ill. Interesting that this happened the same day Obama was visiting Oregon for that shooting though, perhaps ironic.

It's a ton of fun. I'd totally drop $80 bucks on it if it weren't for the fact that I don't have that kind of money, well, I do - just need it for more important things. (perhaps that is just the nostalgia setting in given that it's been 10 or so odd years since the last game). That said, I'll definitely be buying it. Hopefully they don't completely botch the "Single player" element, in the form of 'missions' as they call them. And hopefully customization is exceptional, considering I doubt that modding will be happening on this Battlefront like it was in the previous games. Only two problems I've come across is that Rebels seem to struggle really bad on Hoth, regardless of player skill level. They seem to be under powered due to the AT-AT's and the AT-ST's. Maybe to balance it out is giving the Rebels indestructible Turrets to combat the AT-ST's. (not all of them). Where they can only be destroyed by player's that have explosives, like the ION grenade or whatever it is called. Or maybe they can balance it out to where the Imperials only get two chances with the AT-ST's and then no more "pickups" spawn for them. The other thing is that I keep coming full force with is that the LMG's are excessive, not sure if it's over powered or if it's because I keep facing teams where literally the entire team is using nothing but the LMG's. This is mostly on the infantry focused mode Drop Zone, though.

No, I'm not specifically defending guns as a whole. I'm defending the fact that there needs to be actual change and not just a bare bones harsher gun law. As in, why are there so many mentally ill/extremist people getting through literally everything? There is a deeper solution to the entire problem than just strictly imposing a harsher law. Cutting back psychiatric help isn't going in the right direction, parents and teachers turning a blind eye on those who show a great threat to everyday normal human beings is also a problem. The key ingredient in all these shootings happens to be either one or both of these things 1: the person committing the shooting is mentally ill. Or 2: that the person is an extremist based on religion or anti government. The Oregon shooting happens to have both of these two ingredients, he was mentally ill and was a religious extremist. c13 said it best, a unique approach will be needed to curb the gun violence, violence in general of this magnitude. I just don't think people nor the Government care enough, it would be easier to just slap a gun law on than for example giving proper treatment to those who need it and better screening for those who show red flag signs of problems that just cannot be fixed, whether it's extremism or anti-everything. Although, we (as in North America), keep letting immigrants into the country(s) rather than fixing internal problems and instead, bringing in new ones, so I guess we can see where the governments focus is. But, that is entirely a different subject, topic, can of worms altogether.

Interesting. I'm Canadian too and my local PD rides polar bears for their patrols. Our K-9 unit isn't traditional either, we use Moose. It's very awkward and weird seeing a Moose piggyback a polar bear.

I actually really like the badge for this car. It suits it perfectly given that it's a Sheriff car. The stripes, colour and layout is extremely well done too. Out of the amount of sheriff textures I've seen on here, this one has to be the best. Hopefully it gets released.

What you're failing to recognize is that the United States of America consists of nearly 350 Million people, compared to the miniscule 66 or so odd Million people France has. That's 350 million potential gun users, or 350 million potential ways of something to go horribly wrong. What you also seem to not understand is that guns don't kill people, people kill people. Guns are only as dangerous as the person who wields them, it's not the other way around. What's to say that a psychopath disguises himself to be a Hunter just to obtain a weapon and then go and kill someone? What does exempting Hunter's from any gun control going to do? By the way, how did all that gun control work for you guys in France when that Charlie Hebdo massacre went down? The world watched as your Police Officers were gunned down and unable to fight for their lives and potentially save the lives of many others. Let's fast forward to what this topic is about, the Oregon Massacre/shooting. First, let's get the foundation laid out for this shooter. First off, he was born in the U.K, moved to the United States at a young age, he was discharged from the Army in 2008 not even making it through Basic Training, and his Mother stated that he had a wide array of mental illness. He even graduated from a special needs school in Torrance California. He suffered from just as much behavioral issues as he did Mental issues. The person in question, Chris Harper-Mercer was an Anti-Government, Anti-Religion, obsessed with high profile killers and killings kind of guy. He specifically singled out Christian Students in UCC. One of the witnesses who survived the attack told Police that he would ask you if you were religious, then he would go on to say "Good, because you're a Christian you're going to see god in about 1 second" and then shoot them then and there. The problem isn't the guns themselves, it is the people who are obtaining them. Gun control won't stop a psychopath, like Chris Harper-Mercer who was hell-bent and obsessed with guns and anti everything from obtaining a weapon - clearly stated and cited by his own Mother,a mental patient through and through. It's easy to point fingers for a scapegoat, but apparently it's too hard to identify the real problem, the fact the kid was a mental case. If someone who is anti anything and intends on killing people, they will find a way to kill people, regardless of gun control. Especially with all this anti-religion, anti-government, going around lately. It's only so concentrated in America because that is such a large focal point to cause huge shock value, not only because of how many people reside in America, but also because everyone sees America to be this huge invincible "big brother" sort of figure. If you're having issues with the conflicting keys for Ragehook, you can change the key to whatever you want in the ini file for Ragehook. I use TrainerV/Simple Trainer. I believe the fellow's name is Sjaak, or something along those lines. By default his trainer keys are bound to F3/F4, which conflict with the Ragehook Console, unfortunately. You can however change the Ragehook Console key, or alternatively change the keys for the trainer too, again in the ini file for that given trainer. I don't know how many trainers are out there, but any good trainer would let you completely customize the keybinds. Just make sure that whenever you're adding plugins, mods, whatever that you check over their INI files and compare each of the keys to that of other plugins/mods and compare it to the trainer too - this alleviates future headaches of pressing a keybind for that plugin/mod and that specific keybind is also bound to the trainer, next thing you know you've accidentally spawned a tank, like I have. Alternatively, like the aforementioned user has stated, you can also repair your vehicle through the RagePlugin Console too.

As others have stated, making this post rather redundant, GTA V is leaps and bounds better in terms of literally everything. While my gtx 780 and i7 are certainly not the best out there, it baffled me to no end of how awful GTA IV was in terms of stability and overall performance. That's really my only problem with Rockstar, given that there are a plethora of half assed based publishers and companies out there, Rockstar for the most part, is a pretty good developer all around. That and I'll never forgive them for the fact that they never released Red Dead Redemption on PC, absolute non-sense. More on topic, I'm all for ELS. I just hope some of the bugs that were present in the early and even later builds of ELS for GTA IV are ironed out and fixed prior to the release of ELS for GTA V. I'd even wager that Rockstar got some inspiration from ELS given that the default light setups for the default Police vehicles in GTA V are actually pretty good, some of the best actually in comparison to some of the other games out there that feature Police cars. Complete night and day difference to GTA IV's police light setups.

To start off with my Computer specs are as follows: Intel i7-4790k at 4.4 ghz. nVidia gtx 780 3gb. 8 GB of G.SKILL Ripjaws ram. (not the most, I know). OS: Windows 10. The rest of my specs meet above the requirements, as well as the aforementioned. The problem doesn't really lie upon that of a graphics issue, or a processor issue - to my knowledge. My rig isn't the greatest, however I've seen plenty of people run worse setups than mine just fine, including my Girlfriend who is able to run it off her rather mediocre laptop without issue. (Same amount of Ram too) After countless hours of research and reproducing the problem, it seems that the issue is that of my Pagefile. After roughly 10-20 minutes of gameplay, my game starts to stutter something horrible. After a quick Google search other people too were experiencing this problem, something to do with the Pagefile and memory leak errors to do with GTA V itself, not necessarily the person in question. People recommended turning off Pagefile entirely. To my surprise this worked, it removed the stutters and the game ran smooth as a baby's butt. However after about 1-3 hours of gameplay Windows would popup a window explaining that of a memory issue and that it needed to close down certain tasks inherently this crashed GTA V as that was really the only task running. It's not necessarily a problem that I have to restart my game after hours of solid gameplay, it's just the fact that I can't for the life of me track down and fix the issue as whole and that GTA V is the ONLY game that sucks the life out of my Computer, literally. I'm not overly tech savvy, but on the other hand my inner geek just makes me cringe and want to fix the problem. After more research, other people on a global level for Computers were saying to manually set the Pagefile, (the most typical one I saw was setting it 1.5x the size of your overall ram), roughly 12gb of manually set pagefile, which to me seems odd and ridiculous. So far I've tested 4gb of pagefile, to no luck - so now I'm currently testing 8gb, my actual ram size. Prior to setting any Pagefile or even knowing about it I monitored what GTA V was using for resources, it slowly but surely hogged up most of my memory and then some, which causes the stuttering issues. Further research showed that other people reported that GTA V was using nearly 15 gb of memory. I've for the most part segregated the problem to being just that of my Pagefile, or lackthereof, as the game runs buttery smooth if I remove it, but at the same time I shouldn't have to remove certain aspects of my Computer just to run GTA V smoothly. It's driving me bonkers and if it IS a memory leak on GTA V's part, what would be the best way to combat it? Is driving up the pagefile size to 10-20gb the only viable solution? Also, reducing the game to Minecraft graphics doesn't solve the problem either, it doesn't seem to matter what the settings are at, it just seems like GTA V enjoys gnawing on Ram. Any help would be greatly appreciated, or at the very least some brainstorming.

Yay. A place where I can beat my suspects senseless where nobody can witness a thing, except for the large amount of Taser marks when I'm done. Also, I have a question. I came to an interesting find, an interesting find that is repeatable. If you call for State Police backup, (the Police Bikes, not the cars), every other Police car that is in the chase will fall back and stay behind the Police Bike that usually takes over for primary, this usually creates a nice neat and tidy police congo line, much like an actual Pursuit in real life. The only exception to this logic is if the Bike cop inevitably hits something and goes for a tumble, then it's quite funny, every cop behind him goes bananas. It reminds me of the scene in finding Nemo with the Seagulls. As soon as the Bike cop has a mishap all the other cops' go into "Mine! Mine! Mine!" mentality. Question is however, is it possible to modify the AI to act the same way they do when there is a State Bike Cop in primary without having a Bike cop? To alter their behavior to where they drive like actual human beings. In other words, is this "Bike Cop" logic that gets applied to the other units in the chase able to be reproducible globally?

That's all well and good, however there are other factors that come into play. It's not as black and white as you're making it (no pun intended). In order for there to be a Police vs. Black encounter, the Police need to be called first. It's not like there is Police Officers roaming the streets to gun down random black folk, or that Police Officer (A) on his patrol route is going to go out of his way to find a random black person to mow down. For example; during the 2012/2013 period blacks committed an average of 560,000 violent crimes, specifically against whites. Whereas Whites only committed around 100,000 violent crimes against blacks. Meaning, blacks were the attackers 84% of the time involving blacks and whites. This figure is consistent with that of the same statistic reports given in 2008, perhaps not coincidentally that was also the year Obama was elected in and coincides with what unr3al is pointing out too. Again, you could argue that the proportions make "sense" given that there are more white people, however that being said, violent interracial crimes committed between Hispanics and Blacks are nearly identical to that of Whites and Blacks. Blacks being the attackers 82% of the time, whereas Hispanics are only the attackers 17% of the time. Give or take. And, once again observing you could say that "chance of encounter" between Blacks and whites is significantly higher given the fact that there are five times as many whites as there are blacks. But, and the big BUT is that there is only 30% more Hispanics than there are blacks, yet black-on-hispanic is almost as lopsided as black-on-white violence. The aforementioned figures suggests that blacks may be deliberately attacking both Hispanics and Whites. Using figures for the 2013 racial mix of the American population -62.2 percent white, 17.1 percent Hispanic and 13.2 percent black- we can calculate the average likelihood of a person of each race attacking the other. A black is 27 times more likely to attack a white and 8 times more likely to attack a Hispanic than the other way way around. We can also calculate how often each criminal group picks and chooses their victim. When whites commit violence, they choose fellow whites as victims 82.4 percent of the time, and rarely attack blacks. Blacks attack whites almost as often as they attack fellow blacks. Hispanics attack whites more often than any other group, including their own. Also, 77% white ~225 million, 13% black ~40 million. Whites committed 2,755 murders in 2013. Blacks committed 2,698 murders in the very same year. So the black population of 13% commits almost as many murders as the white population 77%. That's a 5-to-1 ratio. Blacks constitute about 13% of the American population, give or take. Yet, when it comes to crime the FBI in 2012/2013 reports blacks Commit: 49.4% of all murders. 32.5% of all forcible rape. 54.9% of all robberies. 34.1% of all aggravated assaults. 28.1% of ALL crime. Are whites (including cops') a threat to blacks? No, by no stretch are they anywhere near. 90.8% of all murdered blacks are killed by other blacks. The remaining 9.2% black murder victims were killed by ALL other races or "unknown" Keep in mind also that 19.8 million white people in America live below poverty level, as to 10.8 million Black people. There is almost twice as many white people below poverty, yet black crime is far above any other race group. No matter how you cut it, black crime is still higher than white crime or any other for that matter and it would never even out despite population disparity for each group. All of these statistics can be found via the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI crime database.

I'd have to agree with that. I don't know what it's like in America, or Europe for that matter but the majority of my day was filled with School, wake up at 5:30 in the morning, shower, shit and shave, eat breakfast, head off to school at 7:30 until 2:30. Then after that it's a boat load of homework and studying, only to be met with sleep to do it all over again the next day. Work, for the most part is a lot less stressful, plus I get paid and I don't have to come home to a nagging text book and a mother telling me to finish my homework. That and the majority of my co-workers are far more mature than those in School (although some of those co-workers seemingly never grown out of school immaturity). Guess it's just par for the course.

No, that's not what I was trying to say. I never meant that P.E isn't important or that it isn't a life skill. I meant that sports, the two I was specifically talking about (Soccer or Football), is not a life skill, therefore it should not be mandatory in the sense that those two have gender segregation. They shouldn't be segregated to either gender, period. If a girl wants to play Football, she should be able to and vice versa. My old school, and from what I've seen and heard many others do it too, segregate the two genders and make the girls do Soccer and the guys do Football.

It's dumb, it is one of those things that really needs to be taken out. Some kids, male or female are better at some things than others. Plus, some kids just prefer one sport or activity over another, regardless of their proficiency in it. I sucked at Football, granted it was probably because I hated it, but nevertheless - on the other hand I was exceptionally good at Soccer. There needs to be a signup sheet at the beginning of the year, or before the actual PE class to determine what everyone wants to do. I don't understand why the gender thing is a mandatory thing either, sports isn't a required "skill" in life. You can still be a regular healthy human being without having a sport either non specific, or specific in your life.

I loved PE for the fact that it wasn't a class involving numbers. However I hated the fact (in middle school) that there was gender segregation. The guys were made to play Football and nothing else, whereas the girls were bound to Soccer. (Football being the American variant, same as Soccer). For this reason alone I failed the class I just never attended and instead attended detention which, hey, again, whatever got me out of doing anything with numbers, we shouldn't be segregated into having to only participate in a single specific sport. I hated Football, but loved Soccer so I was shit out of luck. That being said, in High School it got infinitely better. The School I attended had two huge Swimming Pools, one pool for Public swim session, the other for PE and other activities. Plus 4 main Gym's. Certain days you were confined to doing a certain task in a certain Gym, or alternatively the pool, other times you were free to choose whether or not you wanted to do swimming exercises or attend the Gym "lesson/task" of the day. Come to think of it, High School for me at least, was infinitely better than Middle School for the most part.

That's usually the case with most media coverage though, sadly. News doesn't cover anything remotely positive because positive doesn't render the sort of "outcry" promotional propaganda that you would expect to see from a thug being gunned down by Officers. Right now the headlines and the controversy lies with that of a race war with cops' which that, above all else, is a higher view and click count than let's say, a Firefighter rescuing a puppy from a burning house. That and the fact that Media outlets know that they can use the race card to their advantage. Some time ago I read up on some site not even related to News reporting a white man beaten to near death and then ran over with his own car at a Gas Station by 4 Black male's. That wasn't covered by any of the "major" news stations, nor was there any Rioting following it thereafter either. He died of his injuries at the Hospital later on by the way...........

With the implementation to change different backup unit's vehicles, does that also mean we can add extra vehicles to join in too? For example, as it is right now only the two main vehicles spawn. The regular Stainer, and the Buffalo. Would it be possible to be able to have the aforementioned two vehicles as backup, plus the interceptor too? That car only spawns when the player is wanted, as well as the regular two units as well. Obviously Blaine county's equivalent would be the Granger sheriff vehicle.

Interesting. We're supposed to get around 10.000 of them too. I'm all for helping other countries, but jesus christ help out your own damn citizens first. Although, what I find interesting is that no one, at least in Government power, seems to be learning from past history.....

Agreed. It's not just Europe either. Canada has "Volunteered" in quotes as the majority of current actual Canadian Citizens are against shipping boat load after boat load of god knows what here, however the Government does what it wants. Canada may be one of the largest countries in the world, but it can't simply just become another India.
