  1. My favorite was the woman who was in the shower, thought she heard gun shots and decided that they killed him for no reason solely because of that.
  2. Considering that the LA Riots only had 53 people dying, I would assume the national guard would be called in by now and the city would be in lockdown, especially considering that Louisville only had 51 murders last year.
  3. From my understanding, most of the extreme calls coming in are pranks. IE: Guy firing shots, description of holding and sexually assaulting cat Guy firing assault rifle in the air Group of 30 people in white masks outside mall
  4. MODERATOR NOTICE WARNING! You can see a body in this video At about 6:28 in this video, you can hear a background conversation where some one says Mike ran away, then turned around and ran back towards the cop when the cop fired his gun. You might not be able to see it because it might be flagged not appropriate for those under 18.
  5. Not only that, the guy was firing a gun at the same time. I told people most of these were pranks.
  6. Again, this is a major city in America. Shots fired calls on friday night are usual. But there are a lot of prank calls coming in of people in masks or threats to buildings. I heard they dispatched homicide some where about an hour ago, but most likely gang related
  7. MODERATOR NOTICE This isn't about St. Louis. If you want to talk about that, go post in that thread
  8. Pretty sure they do know, because they are switching to cell phones after they arrive on scene
  9. Like I said, most of the serious calls are turning out to be pranks
  10. Most of it is just prank calls for now. I could see people getting drunk later and lots of misdemeanors later on, besides the usual gang related shootings, but I doubt anything serious would come of this. The biggest threat would be a lacking police response time, but after a minute response to a home invasion with a shotgun, I think they have this covered too.
  11. Police already there. Fastest response time ever
  12. Keep in mind that a lot of these calls probably have nothing to do with the purge and are most likely typical Friday night calls in a major city, but the purge has been occasionally mentioned in relation to calls. A notable one has been a call of teenagers in white masks outside a shopping area.
  13. For those that don't know of "The Purge," it's a movie series based on the concept where crime is legal for a 12 hour period. Some people have taken it literally, with advertisements showing up for the last week showcasing a Purge event in Louisville tonight, not legally of course. http://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/2014/08/15/amid-louisville-purge-rumors-police-ask-people-report-suspicious-activity-via/14114953/ Scanner Link, large amounts of activity and talk of people committing crimes saying it's part of the Purge: http://www.broadcastify.com/listen/feed/13853/web There is talk of another event like this happening on August 31 in Jacksonville, Florida: http://www.news4jax.com/news/sheriff-rutherford-responds-to-purge-rumors/27465902
  14. Infowars. Totally a reliable and unbiased source.
  15. The eye witness was an accomplice to the robbery, so he would have very little reason to tell the truth.
  16. Here is a news article containing surveillance video stills of the robbery and the police report of the robbery. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2014/08/breaking-photos-released-of-suspect-michael-brown-robbing-store-before-shooting/ One thing that should be noted is that the stills from the camera showing Mike Brown, and that the stills from video of the initial aftermath of the shooting, have Mike Brown in the same clothing. Another major item that should be noted is that Dorian Johnson, the second suspect in the robbery, was the friend who was with Mike Brown and is currently the star witness of the lynch mob out for the officer.
  17. Looks good, but the plate should be changed to an exempt plate. Generally, they are white with the County in the top left corner and a random 5 or 6 digit code.
  18. Another reason why I hate Windows 8. Same issue here, but besides frequency of crashes, removing mods won't help.
  19. MODERATOR NOTICE Moved to GTA IV Support Requests
  20. If he didn't mean all officers, then he wouldn't of said "how dirty police can be." That implies that all officers are capable and willing to act that way. And I never defended the actions of cops involved. I just pointed out his hypocrisy.

  22. He most likely created this thread in response to the St. Louis thread, where he argued that the cop must be guilty because he's a white male who killed a black male. I compared his blanket labeling of cops to racism, because both his stance on cops and racism come from seeing examples from a minority of people in a certain group and then drawing drastic conclusions from it. From the St. Louis thread>, here's one of his posts, about how white male cops are racists and on how all cops commit police brutality:
  23. The law may come into existence and it may be enforced, but the Supreme Court doesn't have to approve a law before it goes into effect. The court system comes into play when people dispute the constitutionality of a law.

  25. All jurisdictions can create laws that may limit the bill of rights, but the Supreme Court gave themselves the power to interpret the constitution in Marbury v. Madison, therefore they have the final say in any case where rights are questioned. Supreme Court decisions can make laws null and void or they can allow for much stricter laws to be passed.
