To be completely honest all third world countries were doing really well 100's of years ago. It was only until the European Empires wen't and enslaved the strongest people in these countries and left them with the ill and the weak that problems for these countries started. (we also gave the ill and weak more diseases when the empires went there making it even worse). Furthermore I think that we just need to leave them alone (I'm NOT talking about charities here they are important) as we start 'Wars on terror', did you know that the people of Iraq had a higher life expectancy BEFORE the fall of saddam Hussien but had more wealth AFTER he fell. This may show that Western culture is all about money. As for development in these countries it's simple. Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, Teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime. Well yes your right. I someones stopped and they open fire when the officer arrives at the window then yes the officer is defenseless but again it's an extremely rare occurrence. Also I have heard that ANPR units have shotguns in the boot/trunk although i'm not 100% sure about this.

In reality a shots fired call would result in a Trojan unit (armed response) or another form of armed response depending on the size of the situation. When police officers get shot in the UK it is typically because the suspect has a concealed weapon and this wasn't initially known. For example if a neighbor reports a domestic disturbance they may not state or know that the suspect has a gun and that's why most units dispatched to these calls have tasers and sprays as their expecting the worst case scenario and only one suspect. I live in A rough part of my city and it's rare that officers are killed as the sprays and tasers prove to be effective.

I am strongly against the death penalty. When someone is murdered it has devastating effects on their entire family. Causing Distress and sorrow throughout the family. Now if you go ahead and kill the murderer that is going to have the same effect on the murderer's family. So why put more people through distress and mourning. Furthermore is see the death penalty as an easy way out for the Murderer or criminal in question as when they are finally executed they do not have to live with what they have done and are put at peace. (As a side note I'm an atheist so don't believe in heaven and hell. When your dead your dead.) So why should the criminal be able to escape what they have done? Lastly sometimes they get the wrong guy and the REAL criminal can still be at large. Killing innocents cannot be justified. The death penalty is issued on to loose grounds. I think if the death penalty is going to exist (Which I don't think it should) then you need 100% SOLID EVIDENCE.

Well this will be interesting to see how the UK Government reacts to this. Honestly I can't see our current coalition defending the agreement signed by the the UK and China to keep Hong Kong's democratic society because of plans with the high speed 2 railway being part funded and built buy China, the Conservatives wouldn't want that to get scrapped. I could see however that maybe other countries would become involved due to the media attention. Don't know if any of you remember the 2008 Beijing Olympics where the Chinese Police arrested protesters about their human right issues but later had to release them as there was too much media attention on China. This is pretty much the same as this is taking place in Hong Kong where media is more free. Because of this I could see the other countries such as the USA to call on the UK and China to remember it's agreement and possibly the EU members and if things get worse POSSIBLY the UN as well as a few other organisations. Personally I can't see the UK government acting of it's own initiative.

I was using the simple native trainer and I was looking at the speech for the Caucasian cop (I think) and I noticed there was one for asking the driver to open the boot/trunk. Then I wondered why at a traffic stop you can't ask the driver to open the boot/trunk. I know you can open it manually but wouldn't it be better to ask the driver to open it from inside the car. I mean the speech is in the game why not use it. Anyway just a suggestion.

Minecraft: Windows 8 Edition here we come! But seriously i'm expecting things to go downhill, fast. (It was going downhill as soon as notch stopped developing it in my opinion). Although we have to remember that Notch said that if Mojang didn't turn a profit as big as Minecraft brought them he was going to close the company after 10 years. So either way whatever Microsoft do with it whether they fill it with DRM or completely take control of servers, I would only expect Minecraft to last to version 2.0 with or without Microsoft purchasing the Mojang. It's sad but it looks like MInecraft is going to die soon. I mean that's the way it looks.

I was in a pursuit on a armed robbery callout. Me and my fellow officers managed to box them in on a bridge. Because the suspects were heavily armed I did the best thing and called for NOOSE support. next thing I know I'm flying off the bridge into the air in my cruiser because the NOOSE Van hit me at 80 miles an hour. I guess they didn't wan't me there.
