  1. Could you post your LCPDFR log file? You could also try editing the vehicles spawned for prisoner transport in the LCPDFR config file. For example: SuspectTransporterModels=POLICE;
  2. Are you getting a specific error, crash to desktop (CTD), not responding ect. For example are you getting an SMPA60 error?
  3. Have you installed everything in the pack, including the common files located in the Common folder included with the mod?
  4. In the installers folder (mentioned previously) there is a folder called Directx_jun2008, in this folder there should be an installation folder called DXSETUP, try installing this then retry playing LCPDFR. I've searched the internet myself for fixes to this error and they all recommend reinstalling DirectX. Unfortunately I do not know where to find the latest version. As you said this is a fresh install of windows 10 you could try installing all the latest windows updates as I read somewhere the latest DirectX is included with these updates although i'm not 100% sure.
  5. In the diagnostics tool, the columns can be stretched to make the entire content show. If you hover over the grey line between status and progress your cursor should change and you can click and drag to resize the column. Drag to the right to make it larger.
  6. The issue is with scripthook not being able to find a DirectX file. I know I've asked you for the screenshots of the diagnostics tool multiple times but can you please re-screenshot but make the status column wider to show the whole error.
  7. Have the errors in the diagnostics tool changed?
  8. Ah right, that might explain some of the issues your having. It would seem you have an issue with DirectX, unfortunately I can't find a Download link for the latest version. However if you go to the GTAIV directory located At: C:/Program files(x86)/ steam/steamapps /common/grand theft auto IV/installers you should find a folder called DirectX_Mar2009. In this folder should be the installation file for directX, it should be called DXSETUP), install this.
  9. Quick Question, is this a new computer or fresh install of windows?
  10. Is it possible for you to take a screenshot without the solution box?
  11. That means the 2010 version is already installed. Have you tried installing the 2012 version?
  12. Looks like an issue with the 32 bit version of Microsoft Visual C++, You could try installing / reinstalling these. Install both 2010 - http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=5555 2012 - http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=30679 Hope this helps!
  13. I do believe this can be fixed by installing the VC++ Redistributables from Microsoft. If your using a 64-bit operating system you need to download the x64 AND x86 versions. Downloads can be found here: 2010 - https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=5555 2012 - https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=30679
  14. Yes, but to be honest I don't think I really need a quad-core i7. As I said it's main use will be development and I don't think my flappy bird clones will be that resource hungry :D. Other than for faster video rendering I think an i7 would be overkill. I have an i5 in my main computer and it runs great.
  15. On paper the Macbook Pro is everything I could want from a laptop, with the trackpad, i5 processor, SSD ect. And after briefly using my tutors' 15" Macbook Pro to finish something for a competition I just REALLY wanted one. However before I committed to buying one I wanted to see whether or not people thought they were worth it or if I should just get a laptop. But you have said the same thing my tutor said, "I can guarantee that if you do get one, you'll fall in love with it straight away." and as for windows I have my main PC. So i'm going to go to the Apple store tomorrow (Or should I say today :D) to take a look at them. But I think I will buy one. It's about time I treat myself to something shiny.
  16. If i do find an IDE for windows, then I will definitely consider buying a windows laptop, because as you and LukeD said, I can sure get a lot more for my money with a windows laptop. Plus having more USB ports is always a plus :D And if I do get a Macbook I will probably dual boot it. Thank you for your advice, I appreciate it.
  17. In terms of gaming it would only be to pass the time when i'm not at home as I have a desktop. Also I do agree with you on being able to do the same thing on a PC that you can do on a mac, however outside of computer fundamentals and Networking my course practically revolves around iOS Development which to my knowledge can only be done using XCode. So if I was to get a windows laptop, do you know of any IDE that could be used for iOS development?
  18. Hey guys, Basically I've been looking into getting a new laptop for a while now and my tutor recommended the 13-inch Macbook Pro. However I've never used macs outside of college so I was wondering if anyone could offer any insight on how Macbook's hold up for both work/college and personal use. And whether or not it's plausible to go for an older Macbook pro or even the Macbook air. Below is a list of what it would be used for... Web Development iOS Delelopment (Xcode) Basic Game Development (2D) Programming Document Writing General Personal Use (Browsing the web, checking email) Basic Audio and Video editing and possibly some really light gaming (for example Door kickers) Any advice would be appreciated.
  19. I used to love PE, I used to do loads of sports like Fencing, Netball, Gymnastics, Rugby, Tennis, Badminton (all in class and extra curricular), but then the school stopped them all because the budget got cut and I just ended up being a freaking goal keeper for 90 mins a week in the compulsory lessons. That was just awful, now I just sit on my computer doing coursework and watching YouTube.
  20. Rags to riches eh, just play any survival game in multiplayer :) Like InternationalDefiance said, The Sims is the only rags to riches game out there. Unless your willing to commit to some heavy roleplay and mod skyrim with some immersion mods. You could spend hours hunting and chopping wood. Don't know if it would be your type of thing but there's a game called Mount & Blade where you start with nothing, (depending on your character) and build up an army to take over the land, but its all medieval/fantasy. When it comes to riot police games the only one that comes to mind is Emergency 4 / 911 First Responders. Although its a mix of controlling Police/fire/ambulance there can be riots and protests. (would recommend mods for better experience). There's also one that's more about managing a swat team called DoorKickers, no riots though.
  21. Oh yes they are, if you look at the guys other videos where he's in a car he has his family with him. It's a day out for them! It's like eye spy but they look for checkpoints. And they also play a game similar to wheres Wally?, but instead they look for (as to quote the title of the vid) "fruit Nazi's"
  22. so the moral of the story is... When life gives you lemons, exercise your constitutional right? The title of the video is even better "Seim Refusing Fruit Nazi Checkpoint & Driving Away". What the hell is a fruit Nazi? Do they discriminate against citrus and send you to the juicer. Is this the sort of checkpoint Keith Lemon can't get through? All this needs is a meme and it's perfect! Seriously though I understand that some Americans like to exercise their rights but only the crazy ones do it a fruit checkpoint.
  23. I Don't have many qualifications in science (other than my compulsory GSCE BTEC from High school), however I do have an interest in the subject. On topic I've included some information from the UK government website that states health risks and how to deal with incidents involving this chemical. Link - https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/hydrogen-sulphide-properties-incident-management-and-toxicology Fire - Very flammable - Reacts with metals, metal oxides and strong oxidising agents, Heating may cause violent combustion, Emits toxic fumes of sulphur oxides when heated to decomposition. Health - Toxic by inhalation , Very toxic, Inhalation of high concentrations may lead to collapse, inability to breathe and death within minutes, Following single or repeated exposure to high concentrations a range of effects on the nervous and cardiovascular system may occur, Skin exposure causes skin discolouration, pain, itching, skin redness and local frostbite if exposed to liquefied hydrogen sulphide gas, Eye effects may be delayed and include irritation, inflammation, tearing, sensitivity to light and conjunctivitis. Environment - Dangerous for the environment. Although as your article states, the chemical is harmful in large doses. But if its as dangerous as the information above says it is, can it really be safe in small doses.
  24. Dont farts also contain Methane, a gas that contributes to global warming and is also toxic?
  25. I have so many strategy games, But I think i'll go with the Dawn of War series. Without that I wouldn't have one of my best hobbies! Recently though I've been enjoying some more tactitcal strategy like XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Door Kickers.
