  1. Read the readme that comes with the car you downloaded. Using SparkIV place the vehicle in ...pc\models\cdimages\vehicles.img EDIT: Also, take a look here: http://www.gtapolicemods.com/index.php?/topic/3373-how-to-install-weapons-peds-cars/
  2. The AI do indeed drive like crap, but that isn't really a strike against having roadblocks in the future. The point of roadblocks (one of many, it appears) is to stop a vehicle from entering a certain road, in essence. They could also be used to block civilian traffic from interfering with a pursuit. Those are the points people are really trying to drive home here, and the fact that the AI can't drive for crap doesn't really apply to roadblocks, in my view, because a roadblock can be used to stop whole roads or lanes, while a PIT will stop 1 vehicle. That's really why most people want roadblocks. They fill a niche that the PIT maneuver can not.
  3. [Error 54852] I currently do not possess, or know how to create, a valid comment to your post.
  4. Ponder this question for a moment: What would happen if no one "stuck up for the beta mod?"
  5. Trust me, you are not the only one

I use this. http://www.gtagaming.../misc-mods/3009 (skin) And this: http://www.gtagaming.com/downloads/gta-iv/script-mods/2963 (script)
  7. 1. Google ENB 1.0.7.0 or ENB for EFLC (which I have used, I know it exists.) 2. Any ENB series mods will generally conflict with any mods that require their own visualsettings.dat file or timecyc.dat file. Sometimes things will work together and sometimes you have to go with either ENB OR another mod. There is a mod called RealismIV that, I believe, creates some pretty dark nights.
  8. The Nightly Builds you heard of, and the forum section on the bottom are for the Testing team, Community team, and Developers only.
  9. Based on this one string you gave, as well as lua4net.dll and another file, I have a reason to believe you are using LCPD:FR version 0.95 B1, which there is no support for because it is being worked on internally and is going to crash because it is a beta. I know that the hardcore mode in the stable version (.91) works just fine, try using .91 rather than 0.95.
  10. A computer designed for gaming won't (in 99% of cases) have the disappearing texture bug. In Traffic Flow, I don't really think you can make it so it loads only random dispatches. You could try deleting the car slots in the .ini file and see what happens but I don't think anyone has ever tried having just the dispatches.
  11. Yeah, it looks to me like it is a game bug, assuming those are indeed the stock police vehicles.
  12. I don't even know how to reply to this..... Besides -1.
  13. You can also open up the ini file, do a "find" and look for KeyBindingsDisabled and set that to 1, in case you can't navigate the SNT menus due to a key conflict.
  14. There is also a setting in Simple Native Trainer that allows the user to see the road name and current district of the city. However, this is far more obtrusive than the HUD provided by ELS V6.
  15. Something was probably installed wrong, it shouldn't crash the game at all.
  16. Thought he might have been talking about .91 but I don't know. Hopefully the arrest key glitch gets resolved for you guys.
  17. I was never informed of the exact criterion. I'm pretty sure it is probably based on helpfulness, ability to comprehend various aspects of how the game functions, post count, and other things.
  18. I've been googling it for a year now, is just seems like Intel HD audio drivers don't work too well with some versions of ALSA, etc.
  19. Believe me, though, I am just as excited about the possibility as you are.
  20. Use Simple Native Trainer and change the timescale. Just google GTA First Person.
  21. Please make your own thread, and be sure to read this: http://www.lcpdfr.com/cops/forum/forum-20/announcement-5-need-support-read-this-first/.
  22. Video seems to be down. Has to be viewed in youtube (embedding disabled per user request). NEW link.
  23. Like the posts above me have stated, your high poly car mods are the problem. GTA IV is not designed for high poly car modifications. Sniper calculated one time that the average high poly car mod has about 860% more polygons than the default in game vehicles. The links that Shawn and DJ07 provided will fix the problem. However, be warned that if you have a weak system your computer may start to lag because of the car modifications and the traffic flow mod, on top of LCPD:FR.
