It will be released when it is released. No one gives release dates because we never know how long something will take to finish. It is coming together. Threads like this get closed because all it does it apply pressure to the developers. Then they rush. Then we have a mod with less features and more bugs. http://www.lcpdfr.co...when-95-is-out/ Request close by rules stated in that thread.
  2. There's already been 2 threads about this question. If you can somehow get gta iv running on a Mac there might be a slim chance. But to bring up a quote from Sniper296: If you really want the mod to work the way it is supposed to, get a pc rather than running virtualized on a Mac.
  3. Thanks a ton Interference
  4. Found some online articles that may help you: http://dalvenjah.foxfire.net/2010/01/5400rpm-vs-7200rpm-hard-disks-should-you-care/ http://forum.notebookreview.com/hardware-components-aftermarket-upgrades/41219-5400-rpm-vs-7200rpm.html
  5. The version is the version of the car, not the version required for GTA. You shouldn't have to worry what you choose. Just do not replace a car if it is saved at a safe house. You will get an SMPA60 error.
  6. Replacing a ped with a new ped will not cause the game to crash in the way you mention it. Rename the downloaded file to whatever you want it to be (bus, nstockade, whatever).
  7. Yes. edit: You also could have done a google search and it would have brought up a few tutorials.
  8. Maybe this will help: So yeah, just take the bus.wtd and bus.wft files you downloaded and, with Spark, plop them into GTA's vehicles.img.
  9. The problem, really, is this: there is a demand for non-ELS cars. There is a DEMAND for ELS enabled cars. Thus there really would be no benefit for someone to make a website entirely devoted to non-ELS cars. If GPM or other sites made a sub-section for just non-ELS, that would be awesome, it just seems that no one cares that much. I use only non-ELS cars and I spend a long time trying to hunt down decent cars (since, lets be honest, a lot some of the non-ELS cars are... well, sub-par). All the sites I use have been listed already so I won't go and double post a link but yeah, it takes a lot of hunting. And it's a shame.
  10. As much as we would all love to see indicator lights it probably won't happen any time soon, if at all, for the reasons Sniper posted. So no, there are no mods which would enable you to use them.
  11. Yeah, you will have to stick with the normal alphanumerical keys. Not sure if using key combos will be added later on, but for now alphanumerical keys are all you can use. As for the endless cop cars, this tends to be caused by a low amount of RAM or VRAM, or by adding modded cars on top of that.
  12. The thing is, the forums here aren't really designed around tutorials. I suppose, in some aspects, it is a little disappointing, but in reality many people know about GPM and can view the tutorials on their site so there isn't a huge requirement for tutorials on these forums. There's two or three right now because they relate to LCPD:FR in particular rather than modding in general. Perhaps some day, when the forums grow a little bit more there will be a need for more tutorials and a section for them might be created. But that would be in the future, if at all. Also, the readme files of the mods you listed do tell people how to install them (of course, no one ever reads them). About the search part of your post: Many people have posted about the mods you listed, this is true. And all of those posts have been answered, meaning someone might have a little luck if they searched for how to install a certain mod. Another thing, though, is that many ELS enabled cars are only on GPM, and thus that would be the most sensible place to look rather than looking on these forums. The thing is, the LCPD:FR forums are about one mod while GPM is about every single mod that has to deal with police car mods. It doesn't make as much sense to post about other mods here, whilst GPM is a mecca of information in regards to police mods. So sometime in the future a guide like this might be very handy on this site but, for now, I think it would be best to leave most of the tutorials on GPM, where those mods are found.
  13. GPM has a small selection of larger vehicles you could try out. They have an ELS and non-ELS bus you could try. They also have some hazmat trucks, as well as an ESU truck. There's not a huge variety when it comes to larger vehicles but they do make them.
  14. Run the game as an administrator.
  15. Special keys like "§" probably won't work, you'd have to use regular letter keys. And, yes, what version do you use?
  16. Can you elaborate more when you say "it doesn't even recognize all normal keys and defaults them when entering game," please?
  17. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\grand theft auto iv\scripts (Open up "Computer" in the start menu. Click an empty space on the bar at the top of the computer window and enter that). Copy those two files (trafficflow.net.dll and trafficflow.ini) in there.
  18. The link is the fix. Just copy trafficflow.net.dll and the trafficflow.ini files to your scripts folder, which is in your GTA IV folder.
  19. Ah the taxi bug. Not to sound mean but there's been about 30 posts about the taxi bug Use this. To directly answer your question... GTA hates modded cars. It defaults to loading only taxis after its resource pool is getting filled.
  20. Weird I thought they were listed there... I believe they are the same as .91.
  21. We can give you the controls, yeah. There used to be a thread somewhere with the link... Not sure where it ended up to... Link to 0.95 keys. 1,000 posts :)
  22. Oh that make sense now, duh lol.
  23. Use .91, not .90. .90 is outdated now and not supported.
