  1. Yes, it has to be extracted from the .rar file. You should only have TrafficFlow.net.dll and TrafficFlow.ini in your scripts folder (well, also LCPD:FR).
  2. Exactly. It still seems like yesterday.... Man. One decade.
  3. Doesn't seem like it has been ten years.
  4. Put it in your scripts folder. .../rockstar games/Grand theft auto IV/scripts
  5. Ah, how could I have forgotten.
  6. I've experimented a little with engine sounds but.... The way Rockstar chopped up the engine sound when they placed it in a .wav file, which is inside an ivaud file which is then inside an rpf file, I don't really understand how the audio should be arranged. Download the GTA IV IVAUD editor, a google search should bring it up, and you can experiment with IVAUD files a little. Engine sounds, I believe, are in ...\pc\audio\Sfx\RESIDENT.rpf\ENGINE_RESIDENT.ivaud. SparkIV can only export these .wav files, it will not import. That's why you need the IVAUD editor.
  7. But..... If you're in Scotland, and the FBI is a US Agency.... Whose only jurisdiction is the United States.... How would this work?
  8. And if you don't want to keep pressing it, remap the key in GTA's settings. Easy fix. A search would have found at least 5 threads on this.
  9. Reinstall 0.91, make sure to select only dsound.dll when the check boxes show up. Also, is your game purchased or is it a crack? We need to know in order to fully help you.
  10. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\grand theft auto iv episodes from liberty city\EFLC If you have it on Steam.
  11. Well a 6770 isn't that strong of a card really. About half the power of a 560 Ti (source) The CPU you found is plenty strong but you should really find a better video card.
  12. What are the specs?
  13. So why don't you use the one you picked out?
  14. Download this. GTA IV can't handle modded cars or some mods.
  15. Go into GTA's settings and remap the definition / motion blur key (P). Edit: If the mod won't start at all, read this.
  16. Did you have one picked out already?
  17. http://www.overclock...040&subcat=1270 That wouldn't be too bad. An ATI 6950 is similar to the GTX 560 Ti, but not quite as fast. (Source) A six core AMD processor is definitely a good CPU. Of course, the case is ugly as sin. But this is coming from someone with this with extra lit fans.
  18. That's the life of a gamer. The top of the line gaming hardware is never cheap. Except for RAM.... RAM is cheap now. What cost me $130 a few months ago now costs $45.
  19. If price is a concern, AMD. If it is not, Intel. Intel generally has more calculations per second at a given clock than AMD does at the same clock. However, you can sometimes overclock the living sh*t out of AMD CPUs. But not always.
  20. When you downloaded the patch, you should have seen a window like this when you open the patch: Drag all the files to your desktop: Now run this:
  21. Make sure you extract all the files and run UpdateTitle.exe.
  22. This should be in the support forum. Delete your scripts folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\grand theft auto iv\GTAIV\scripts) OR C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\grand theft auto iv\scripts then install 0.91, running the installer and game as an admin. Make sure to read this page: http://www.lcpdfr.co...ead-this-first/ Make sure you have this: http://games.softped...-IV-Patch.shtml
