  1. Check GPM for it. As for diving in to ELS and modded cars, we don't recommend it. Modded cars take up GTA's allotted memory, causing the "nothing but taxi" bug. There are fixes, but low RAM on top of modded cars can make GTA fail miserably.
  2. Not at this point, no. However, some speculate Q2 or Q3 2012.
  3. Nice catch, forgot about that one.
  4. Typically, lcpdfr.log is the file to use. "Object ref not set to an instant" can sometimes be ignored.
  5. Install 0.95 RC 1, run the installer as an admin, and make sure you select dsound.dll. That is the asi loader. It sounds like you are missing an asi loader, causing every script mod to fail. Make sure you have this and this as well. Oh, and run the diagnostic log as an administrator.
  6. Make sure that file is in a folder called "scripts." If it isn't, reinstall the mod. Select all the check boxes EXCEPT for xlive.dll. Do us a favor and run this, please. If you don't have any working mods, make sure all .asi files are in your main GTA IV folder. Edit: Also, please read this. Please ensure you are using .95 RC 1.
  7. He posted it three times. We've been helping him one on of his other threads already, maybe this should be closed since we haven't been posting in it?
  8. the log is named LCPDFR.log and is inside of your main GTA IV folder.
  9. And in three different forums.... @Thread The blurry screen is built in to GTA IV, just press P again. We recommend changing the keybinding for "Definition" in GTA's settings. All mods should be installed to the main GTA IV folder, unless they have .net.dll in their name, then they should go into a folder called "scripts," which should be in your main folder.
  10. That's entirely possible, yes.
  11. This is my ini file: A lower number on the ChanceCrimeIsCommitedMultiplier will yield more results, whilst a larger number will produce less callouts. For a small delay between callouts, have a small number for the MinSeconds delay, and a slightly larger one (but still small) for the MaxSeconds delay (like in my file). World Events are the white blips you see on your map, they can be pursuits, drunkards, etc. 2 is the default, but I prefer it set to 1. As for blips whilst on Hardcore, I'm not sure. I don't play hardcore often. When you say you want random crimes, not callouts, I assume you mean world events. A lower crime multiplier may help, as will keeping your max world event value to 2 or 3. It should be noted that callouts in .95 RC 1 are bugged and usually stop appearing after a while. Some world events (especially pursuits) do not show up either. Changing the ini file won't help this, unfortunately.
  12. Vanilla copy means a stock copy, right out of the box. No modifications at all (depending on the context, it could also mean GTA IV 'vanilla' as opposed to GTA IV EFLC). For stability reasons, it is best to have every person using the same files, just to avoid possible problems. Custom cars tend to spit out SMPA60 errors whilst playing. Car colors don't always have to match, but it may be best to make sure your vehicles.ide matches the other player's. 1337 posts :P
  13. If you have a crack we can't help.
  14. CD cracks do not work with most script mods, nothing but errors seem to be created when using cracks, which is why we do not support cracks (http://www.lcpdfr.com/cops/forum/forum-20/announcement-6-using-an-exe-crack-read-this/ ).
  15. Yeah, you can import engine sounds, I believe. I think they're standard .wav files like most other sounds. I could be wrong, though, never spent time looking at car sounds (besides swapping them).
  16. Congratulations to everyone, and thank you everyone for what you have done. I remember checking for an LCPDFR page on Facebook but the only one was made by Asuna, and he's long gone now
  17. Mind if I ask.... What made you think about trying this...?
  18. Latest version is here: http://www.gtapolice...ting-system-v6/
  19. Even if you state R* has all rights, it can still be infringement because we have no right to distribute the files. No one here is allowed to share that with you.
  20. People want to be popular. That's why. I also saw a picture somewhere, in which the location of the main character in the "real" video was actually taken in a park near Castle Gardens in GTA IV.
  21. Yep, use your same info. You'll only have to enter the info when you install the mod.
  22. Yeah, I suppose that's possible.
  23. Welcome to the forums! I'm afraid you will have to use 0.95 RC 1 instead (I believe it is the only supported version, now). Account linking does not work in 0.91. You will either have to use 0.95 or don't link your account, sorry.
  24. No errors are apparent in the diagnostic log you posted, and as Mage said, you only have 2GB of RAM. Normally, herein lies the problem. It is entirely probable that the extra RAM required by LCPDFR is pushing your system over the edge and GTA is out of allocated memory. In this case, there is nothing we can do. Edit: And I'm giving you a +1 for following the directions (maybe more people will start to do it).
