  1. There is no refresh button (unless you mean the refresh button on your browser?) :
  2. Iconography commented on docpalmer's gallery image in GTA IV Galleries
  3. Cards range anywhere from $50 (really low-end cards, not what you want) to high end $1,000 cards (extreme dual GPU cards with water cooling systems for extreme systems). I would expect, for your needs, to pay about $200 for a card in order to play GTA well. I don't have any more time to stay on the forums now, so someone else can take over from here.
  4. There are so many cards out there, I can't list just one. I, myself, recommend Nvidia based cards (like my EVGA GTX 560 Ti). However, depending on your power supply, you may want to settle for a less powerful card. Sites like Newegg (US and Canada) are good, but there are many other sites to get cards, not to mention physical stores.
  5. Yeah, that's all we need. You should definitely think about a new graphics card.
  6. Your CPU seems perfectly fine for GTA, as well as your RAM. At this point I highly suspect your GPU is the problem here, but I will need to see its name found in the "Display" tab.
  7. There's some discussion on roadblocks on this thread, on the bottom of the page leading in to the next page.
  8. We'll need to see your specs to help determine why you're lagging. To find your graphics card related info, type dxdiag in the run box in the start menu. Click the "Display" tab to see your graphics card. To find CPU / RAM, go to start --> right click on Computer --> properties. Edit: Forgot, dxdiag can also tell you CPU and RAM so above step is not always necessary. This info will be on the "system" tab.
  9. Unless you hit reset stats, the only other option that would make sense is that during a server failure or other similar event, some crime stats data was lost. I noticed Break had his rep reset to zero.
  10. If it's nearby Honkers (can't remember off the top of my head) then you're hearing the bouncer responding to your gunfire. If it isn't nearby then maybe it's for humor?
  11. LCPDFR doesn't work with 1.0.4.0 at all.
  12. If you're using modded cars, that would be the problem in most cases. Try the original cars and see if it helps. And the mod works only on 1.0.7.0. Further questions should be made on your own forum post.
  13. Sam has a few. http://www.lcpdfr.com/cops/forum/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=user_activity&search_app=downloads&mid=12 It's a needle in a hay stack trying to find others, though.
  14. The ini is just a text file. Open it with a text editor. All you need to do is change False to True. That's it. No need to code cars.
  15. Don't use high poly car mods. That's the only actual fix. Or you can try traffic flow, or something similar, to remedy the situation.
  16. It's entirely up to you. Just remember if you have modded cars and want to use .95, edit your ini file and set PreloadAllModels = True. This should prevent issues with modded cars.
  17. You can install car mods with any version. .95 RC1 (it is no longer a beta) has more features. Most people recommend .95 now.
  18. Yeah, I mentioned that on the original post. "Sometimes, some car mods in general will just crash the game, even if not saved. In that case it is best to try a new car."
  19. Also, you can view this: http://www.lcpdfr.com/cops/forum/topic/1399-how-to-listen-to-nypd-radio-in-game/
  20. I would love to take credit, but Harper mentioned it. Not me.
  21. Xlive will not fix this problem if you do not run the game as an administrator like instructed.
