I am assuming this is 0.91 (I think when he said transport he meant in his car to a PD). This used to happen to me, it's just a bug that has no real work around (besides killing the suspect...)

All you need in the GTA folder is ELS.asi and ELS.ini. And the scripthook. Make sure you have either dsound.dll OR xlive.dll in there too, but one of those should have come with LCPDFR.

Clear your cache. Try that.

Yeah, it's sickening to think about how he could have been planning this for about a decade, too. Like Interference said, the lightbar itself has to be replaced. There is no "texture" to replace, you must open the unlocked car up in Zmodeler and then edit from there.

Yeah, a common misconception is that 0.95B1 is in a "final" stage where anything you see in it is what will end up being there in the end. This simply is not true, who knows what may be implemented by the time it is finally finished.

If he wants to play online, then yeah delete xliveless and then reinstall LCPD:FR, with the automatic installer, and make sure to select only dsound.dll. Make sure to download 0.91 not 0.95 Beta. Too many bugs in 0.95 to be used for multiplayer play, that's my opinion. EDIT: I understand translating from language to language can be difficult and time consuming but I'll do my best to keep up and make sure he can get online.

And you use 0.91, correct? Try reading this page and seeing if anything at all on that page can help (re installing C++ and .NET, etc.). Make sure that the game is being run as an admin, and yes downgrade to V5 for ELS. V6 tends to be buggy and crash randomly. @Barham Try what I said, but ignoring the part about ELS.

I played an early version of 18 WoS a long time ago and didn't really like it but the new ones that are coming out seem a lot more fun than the one I played.
