  1. The only thing that LCPD:FR delievers is a way for you to become a cop and arrest people, ticket people, et cetera. Extra vehicles, weapons, and models are not included. EDIT: The Tazer feature is built in, press T while holding a handgun and pointing at someone. A baton is NOT included. Extra cars are NOT included.
  2. The game most likely doesn't know how to handle a different model, and it probably doesn't know that you have switched back to Niko when done. I have never had this problem so I don't know what to say besides that. LCPD:FR code doesn't remotely involve taxis as far as I know.
  3. Throw some rocks or some old Burger Shot cups at some hobos
  4. This is correct.
  5. Well I can see why someone would want to "copy" the design.
  6. Reflective yellow one is by far the most practical; you can see that a mile away. Looks cool too.
  7. Alt+K only works on foot.
  8. It took me forever just to realize there was the alt + K feature. Had no clue about LAlt + F11
  9. This point was already brought up and refuted. @Break He doesn't want to use the LCPDFR lighting modes because they still interrupt traffic.
  10. I remember hearing that crime stats aren't 100% operational yet.
  11. Gaming on virtually any Sony Vaio will not be too good...
  12. Crime stats only work for 0.95 still though, right?
  13. Well if you make your own you need it. I sometimes make my own and do it that way.
  14. "LCPDFR hasn't and never will support car modifications." That's from a developer; I doubt that that will change. Usually the mods work fine together though.
  15. Nice movie. And your avatar is pretty good too
  16. Thought there was one on GPM, but I could be mistaken.
  17. You woulda ninja'd me if you didn't type that out .
  18. Download IVAud. It opens .ivaud files found inside cd images. use SparkIV to extract .../GTAIV/pc/audio/sfx/resident.rpf/HORNS.ivaud. Then use IVAud to replace the police sirens found inside, such as Ambulance warn, siren 1 siren 2, wail, etc.
  19. Right at the moment I am strictly non ELS, for stability reasons and also because I don't want anything interfering with my game. I used to have ELS and I loved it, V5 never crashed for me. When the final release is out I will probably switch back.
  20. I'm not sure if the dev team would be interested in scripting a web streamer into the mod.
  21. This method could easily work for people who don't want to hassle with downloading another media player, so I would say you helped.
  22. There's already a post about this here, but thanks. EDIT: although your method is a little different than Break's.
  23. I usually get about 30-50 fps with my GTX 260 card and a Core i7-870 at 4.02GHz, but that's without any ENB. From what I have heard, a GTX 560 or even a GTX 260 which is a little older, but still almost the same as a 560, will be better than most ATI cards. You would need to get into the higher end ATI cards and those can get pricey. I think it's worth it to get an nvidia card but that's me. I also have a 32" monitor at the same resolution.
