  1. Yeah I think I said somewhere else that the wig-wag headlights and taillights we added could possibly cause the SMPA60 errors, or perhaps the Taser, but it seems like they are definitely related more towards models than script errors.
  2. Not exactly. Looks like something crashed and made LCPDFR go all weird - for some reason it marked the player as wanted for killing the cop, then the cops started chasing them like they do for normal AI suspects. Interestingly enough, when we developed the pursuit system and the chasing AI, we used to test it in a similar way by playing the part of the criminal as the player, having all the cops chase us.
  3. Now that's awesome.
  4. I'm not sure about Overwolf, but if you use it mainly because of issues with alt-tabbing, I'm assuming you're referring to the one where if you do, sometimes you can't tab back in? If so, this is fixed by pausing the game before alt tabbing.
  5. The SMPA60 error likely has nothing to do with LCPDFR - it is most commonly triggered by something related to models. If you aren't using any custom models, are you using the wig-wag head/tail lights? If so, it could be a crash related to that - we're making the game do something it doesn't want to do (and never does normally), and I had a few SMPA60 crashes from this too. You might just want to disable it if so. The autosave shouldn't trigger SMPA60 errors. A setting exists for it in the .ini regardless if you want to change it though (more details on the settings section in the guide) Also, posting relevant links isn't something you would get into trouble for! Probably nothing to do with LCPDFR anyway. That looks pretty funny. Certainly is our fault - we'll look into it, hopefully it doesn't happen too often!
  6. LCPDFR and ELS should work fine. You'll have better luck looking/posting in the support section RE this though.
  7. Nobody has destroyed your new year. You need to either use the manual install or disable your anti virus program from preventing the automatic install being unzipped or executed.
  8. Yes, this is the options in the GENERAL group. Use tab while having the menu open to go between different groups.
  9. Most of the times I arrested people at sea, I made sure to ram their boat close to land before making the arrest. Then it was just a case of dragging them ashore. You can put them on the boat, too, although I'm not sure how well it works.
  10. Aim at the car you want them to follow you in and then hold down Caps Lock to bring up the QAM. Switch to the Partner category by using Tab a few times. If your partner is close enough to the car, you'll see an option to have them follow you in it.
  11. So, now that LCPDFR 1.0d has been released, I'm really keen to hear about everyone's experiences of it. For 1.0d, one of the things I did was slowly work my way through the hundreds of topics in the suggestions forum, trying to figure out what you really wanted to see. Of course, multiple partners seemed to top the list, so we've worked really hard to add them in - no small feat considering we only started work on that last month. With that being said, please use this topic to post any stories, screenshots or feedback you might have regarding 1.0d. Please do not post support requests here (installation, crashes, etc.). Asking for support regarding gameplay/new features (e.g. how do I get my partner to follow me in a car) is fine.
  12. That's your problem :) The more damage they take, though, the likelier they are to stop the boat and give up. Speaking of damage, if that is your desire, I heard the NOOSE water units with lethal force activated do a very good job of fulfilling that. Some say they were even trained by The Squid him/her/itself.
  13. You'll need to wait for a boat pursuit callout. I think you can force this by opening the console (using the tilde key) and typing in: StartCallout BoatPursuit
  14. I'm not surprised, nothing ever likes downloading an .exe from the internet from an unsigned publisher.
  15. Does this help anyone? 1. LCPD First Response 1.0d Automatic Installer.zip
  16. Can you give me the exact filesize of it?
  17. Even the manual installation?
  18. Okay, as a very temporary solution, you can get the Automatic Installer here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByX6iAQgxnsFYnRwVElNUmQ3cUU/view?usp=sharing
  19. Alright, give me a few minutes while I work this out.
  20. I've attached the raw .exe to the first post - that might help. I suspect it is a network problem somewhere resulting in only a partial download of the archive, however.
  21. Anyone having trouble with the downloads should give them another try now.
  22. You might not have noticed, but everyone has ignored your trolling. That doesn't mean you get to post more until someone reacts.
  23. Tell me exactly what you tried to do?
  24. Continuing with the ongoing development of LCPD First Response - a process which has been going on for about five and a half years now, we're excited to announce the release of the next installment in the 1.0 series, 1.0d. LCPDFR 1.0d brings with it a number of fixes and new features. For the first time, we've also put together a comprehensive on-line guide to the new release, hopefully giving everyone more accessible information about what LCPDFR 1.0d can do, and how you can use it and this is accessible here: https://www.lcpdfr.com/page/guide.html Among the new features added in LCPDFR 1.0d are water pursuits, red laser Tasers, multiple partners, and all new Quick Action Menu. As always, we've taken the opportunity to fix several bugs and to increase overall stability. For those of you who play GTA IV Multiplayer, you'll be pleased to know that improvements have been made with regards to multiplayer compatibility too. Again, this release, along with various changes that have been happening on the website are part of a wider flurry of activity that is taking place right now at LCPDFR.com. Of course, with this release, the focus will soon shift back to the website, and more details about that can be found in my news post from last month: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> We hope you enjoy LCPDFR 1.0d, Sam Problems with the automatic installer downloads? Your anti-virus may be detecting them as false-positives: either disable your anti-virus momentarily or use the manual installation instead.
  25. Certainly, your contributions to the community have been very tangible. It is indeed all quite funny when we look back at how we got started with this stuff - often the best and brightest comes from just a little idea, spurred on by the moment at the time. Above all else though, you've been an incredible example of what it should mean to be a member of our community. I know that everyone here, and me personally, would like to wish you the best in whatever you do next, and everyone here will always owe you a debt of gratitude for your time and effort.
