Chicago PS and I putting a stop to a raging ineseri The Chicago PS incest task force is quickly on the scene at Pawnee Trailer Park! The suspect pursuit service of the Chicago Police Services is highly charged. (Airborne pursuit services sold separately) Iconography only deals in black, and seemingly very light grey. With the escaped Swede gone, everything is back to normal in Pawnee.

Area Livery Mod

- Version 2.0
Now supporting unlimited liveries! An update to the popular Area Livery Mod, ALM 2.0 is a simple modification that allows you to match vehicle liveries to areas of Liberty City. Unlike ALM 1.0 and 1.1, ALM 2.0 allows for an unlimited number of liveries thanks to LMS' AdvancedHook. ---------------- NOTES This script requires the .NET ScriptHook for GTA IV, please see: http://www.gtaforums...howtopic=392325 This script functions automatically and contains an .ini configuration file where numerous livery related settings can be customized. Please read both readme.txt information files contained within the download archive for further information. CREDITS ALM is designed and coded by Sam. Thanks to LMS for allowing us to use more than 4 liveries, and to NicolaiB who came up with the idea for ALM back in 2011. IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT ADDITIONAL LIVERIES Additional liveries (5 or more) can result in texture archive sizes that the game will not support. Too many liveries or too big a texture archive can result in problems ranging from lag to fatal errors. Please see the included readme for further information for vehicle/texture modification developers.- 38 comments

Older Versions of LCPDFR
Regarding the troll that posted in the thread - just ignore him. He was using a 10 minute disposal e-mail address and had tried to register an account beforehand which got rejected by the spam service.

Older Versions of LCPDFR
Well, honestly I have no idea how 1.0c could be any less stable than previous versions of 1.0. I think that is actually a technical impossibility considering the huge number of additional safety checks we've put in place in each new versions. I think there are deeper underlying issues with your system or setup/other mods/combinations of mods if you experience more crashes with 1.0c. Nonetheless, if you really want them, here they are: 3. LCPDFR 1.0c Hotfix
I suppose a little bit of a workaround is that you can stop them and then go to their car, aim at them and order them out, then check their ID through the system for frisking, etc. Once you've done that, under the 'Issue Orders' menu, you can tell them to get back in the car.

LCPDFR 1.0c Hotfix
I don't really know, that's for you to figure out! Just try some different ideas and see which one works best for you. It is fairly quiet so try it in a less noisy environment like an interior.

LCPDFR 1.0c Hotfix
We've released a hotfix which brings with it some small stability enhancements and fixes as well as some highly requested features. The hotfix, LCPDFR 1.0c is now the third patch for LCPDFR 1.0. Along with bringing to the table a more stable experience, LCPDFR 1.0c comes packing a punch as far as features are concerned too. Since time immemorial, the ability to control traffic has been long sought after in LCPDFR. LCPDFR 1.0c now introduces the ability to set up a checkpoint with a patrol car on any road which you can then use to control the flow of traffic passing through. As well as this, we made a big mistake when we rewrote LCPDFR for 1.0c when we forgot to convert over the old feature of drinking coffee. Again, this is something that has been widely requested and sure enough, you can now indulge in a caffeine hit while protecting the streets of Liberty City. Not only that, however, but the whole process is more interactive in that you now hold a key to drink. As an added bonus, there's even a nice drinking sound effect to go with it. LCPDFR 1.0c is also good news for the people that like to develop with our API. There's now a bunch of new features and classes available to you allowing you control over nifty things like arrow checkpoints and blips, as well as some access to LCPDFR's internal ped data. As always, please report any problems to us in the LCPDFR support section. Enjoy!

I agree, but I doubt it'll happen any time soon. Ubisoft's games aren't exactly well known for their modding capabilities, especially not with the uPlay DRM.

Recommended Traffic Spawner Script
Please try to avoid traffic scripts that spawn or delete cars - they're potentially really dangerous. All it takes is for the wrong car to get deleted and then when another script tries to access it, your game will crash. Things that spawn traffic are bad as well as it gets spawned in the wrong places and such. Stick to traffic loaders like Traffic Load and Traffic Flow - they simply force the game to load other car models which is a much cleaner solution. If this doesn't work for you, by all means try other solutions, but if you are having to resort to other dirty methods, you probably shouldn't use car mods anyway.

Single cop per car
You can't sadly. GTA IV spawns 2 cops to a car normally and so does LCPDFR. I think sometimes when at Wanted Level 1 and GTA IV dispatches a car after you, it might only have 1 cop, but the default by and large is 2 cops per car and LCPDFR is no exception.

OpenIV's Biggest Update!
You'll need to extract the game onto one of your hard disks and work with the files from there. This is hardly a big update though as the functionality is limited to viewing and hearing things, which can already be done using a variety of other tools out there and 3dsmax.

Police Tactics - A Police Officer Simulator
Honestly the attitude of some people in this thread is disturbing. This project can not be compared to any other project like Police 1013, as this project is confirmed, by way of gameplay footage, to actually be in development. Nobody is going to be given free reign to throw around insults, regardless of whether they're a new member sitting on one post, or an established member with thousands of posts. Now, if you don't like this project for whatever reason, that's fine, but don't come in the thread trying to force your opinion on everybody else. If you want to give your support to another project, then by all means you can do so. If you want to offer some constructive criticism in here about this project, then feel free to do that as well. Understand though that at no time should anyone be in here just posting derogatory nonsense. Also, Olanov, you should know better than to be contributing to this stupidity.

Desktop Dispatching Software
I saw in the download description that you plan on adding some additional functionality to it in terms of having reports and such. I thought I might share with you my experience of this as back on FCRP, NicolaiB who was the sheriff, wanted a much more in depth MDC system which would let people write reports in-game. Obviously this was a bit of a challenge to script in but it was also hard from an organisational standpoint, as there were to be reports for evidence, for incidents, for arrests, etc. and obviously when we were going on a basis of about 300-350 arrests per month (an insane number, I know, it was like Detroit) it was going to be quite hard to keep up with the volume of reports coming in. To get around this, NB came up with the idea of working with case files instead, allowing you to submit a case file (which despite the name, worked more like a folder) and it would include just some very basic attributes like name, date and time. So, with the case file created, you would be able to click a button to add reports to it by choosing a report type (e.g. arrest, incident, evidence, interview, other), filling in the details specific to that report type and then submitting it. Then, instead of having a big list of reports, you would have a big list of cases and within each case there would be reports specific to that case. This worked really well in this scenario anyway, as there was often trouble with taxi drivers being ridiculously unqualified to drive their taxis and breaking every traffic law known to man. Of course, every time that they stopped a taxi, they wanted to record it, and instead of submitting a bunch of new reports each time, all they had to do was submit a new report to the existing taxi case file.

Desktop Dispatching Software
So is this like something that someone in a clan would use instead of playing in the game they would have this open and use it to control all the other players? I was racking my tired brain for a while trying to figure out how it would work, thinking it was an MDC type thing meant to be used while ingame, but then I realised it looked like it was for dispatching. I actually remember back when we had FCRP running (a San Andreas Multiplayer roleplay/real life simulation type server for those of you unaware), the cops on it tried to do something like this but there didn't seem to be any decent applications for it, with the only ones being actual commercial ones used in the real world. This looks like it might solve that problem!

2011 LCPD CROWN VICTORIA - CVPI ELSv8
No, he's correct. It needs to be placed in the police or police2 slot - they're the only cars with rotators in the default game and this mod uses that mechanism by attaching the lights to those rotating parts.
