  1. Some people in the LSPDFR community have started putting mods, tutorials, and “how-to” content behind paywalls, and I don’t agree with it. LSPDFR was built as a free modding community where people shared ideas, files, and knowledge to help others enjoy the game. Charging money for basic support, access to mods, or tutorials takes away from the open-community spirit that made LSPDFR popular in the first place. I was very active years ago and decided to give LSPDFR another shot, and I see a lot hasn't changed, and if anything, the greed is becoming more rampant. I understand creators spend time making content and deserve recognition, but hiding essential mods or information behind subscriptions can divide the community. New players may feel excluded if they cannot afford paid access. I think modding communities work best when creators share knowledge freely and collaborate instead of locking content away. Donations and optional support are fine, but turning a free community into a paywalled environment changes what LSPDFR originally stood for. Just my opinion, and I am talking about the modders who now have Patreon and other forms of payment systems. I have even seen how-to videos on YouTube on certain mods, where, to access the video, you have to pay. What are your thoughts? Am I blowing it out of proportion, or do you agree?

Whilst I appreciate the effort, it may be worth checking what was discussed prior to posting the log to a log reading tool and just share its output… Put double the values and see if that helps at all. 1500 and 14688 If you still have issues I’d update my game rph and LSPDFR and the beforementioned plugins before doing any other troubleshooting.

    Preface: I have seen there has been a lot of discourse in different LSPDFR discords about vibe coding and the AI disclosure. I recently updated an older mod and had to fill out the AI disclosure. To be honest, I was a little confused. The wording was vague. There is no clear distinction between the 3 different tiers(minor, moderate, substantial). The suggestions below aim to improve that. Also some additional thoughts. There are 4 main ways a developer can use AI to aid in their development of a mod: Ideation/Design work, Implementation(the actual methods/code), Debugging, Marketing(Description and Images). Currently, the first 3 ways are represented with 1 option and the last option (Marketing) is represented with 2 options. This feels lobsided and where I think the disconnect is happening. As an example: If the AI did a substantial amount of debugging which in turn changes a lot of code, I would think one would have to choose "substantial" for mod and mod content. Therefore, my mod would be slapped with the "Made with AI" tag. This gives users the impression in this scenario that I vibe coded this out with Claude Code and posted it on the forums with no thought behind it. How I would improve the system? My theoretical new disclosure system would look like this: This gives each aspect of script development its own disclosure giving the user a clear picture of how the developer uses AI and whether the AI is an aid or the developer. If this new system feels too invasive, I would understand that. However, I think the hesitation in telling the truth comes from what the consequence is if you did use a lot of AI; the dreaded black tag, "Made with AI". Many devs nowadays use AI as an aid within development. This system hurts those devs just as much as the devs who are using Claude Code to build plugins ("AI Slop"). If this system does not get implemented, I would maybe suggest changed how the tag is phrased.

    Yes, the UI is from SirenMastery, and the texture is from a paid FiveM siren controller UI.
  6. It's not just GTA either, it started with unfinished texture packs for minecraft, and clothing addons for the sims. Now its every game seems to go crazy with this paid model. I mean the fact cars for LSPDFR will cost as much if not more than GTA itself, for high poly optimized vehicles with hardly realistic meta files is insane. Only way to make a change is to not buy them and stick to the thousands of free mods.

    Hello, I'm trying to track down a specific mod to add some more immersion to my LSPDFR setup and im hoping someone here recognizes it or knows where to install it. I'm looking for an ELS UI/ smart controller overlay. Instead of the standard ELS box. I know that @unitedorange66 uses this exact setup in his patrols, which is where i first saw it. I've attached a screenshot from one of his videos to show exactly what the UI looks like. United if you happen to see this i would appreciate if you could help me.
  10. AdvancedHookV.logScriptHookV.logRagePluginHook.logELS.logI have uploaded the log files that could help diagnose the issue. I have tried throwing in a fresh copy of ELS and ScripthookV with no success. Renaming the mods folder _mods worked, but removing all the vehicle packs that use ELS still causes the same crash error. I'm not sure what to do since I like the car packs I have now and I don't want to remove ELS I figured it out, not sure why, but an Addon eup was crashing it. Not sure why the addon EUP would make ELS crash, but at least I figured it out lol

    Backup your lspdfr/chars folder and create a new character, there is an issue with the weapon mods and it's still trying to load them for your character. If it crashes again please upload the new log

    I know I just posted the message above, but I found a solution. Open the folder: Documents / Rockstar Games / GTA V / Profiles / (your profile number) and delete the last saves. They should look like: SGTA5...., look after the latest modification date. When you go back in, just press "Skip all" if Steam (I don't know if it is the same with Rockstar) asks you if they should use your deleted save. Then just try launching RagePluginHook and see if it works. Remember, never save the game when you are on duty! I hope this post was clear enough to follow.

    Hey guys, i have problem with backup units and i don't know how to fix it. So when i call police backup units, EMS or Fire Department, they spawn and they turn right or left and speed up and run from me, even when i spawn them near me with backspace, they again gain speed and drive away and after few seconds couple peds run on foot to my location while thier vehicles stay far away. I use Simple trainer V (v17.8) and Menyo (v2.3.0), Ignore Player, Cop Ignore Player and Never Wanted are disabled. Do someone know how to fix it, i hope i'm not the only one with this kind of problem...?

    It happened to me until I got rid of quant v and installed natural vision evolved then after that i installed better radiance then I used Mexican better els everything worked

I've never had this issue before and I can't find anything online about it. anyway when I have any of the 3 stages on I can't exit the vehicle unless I turn it off, alongside that when I exit the vehicle and press J my character freezes for a fraction of a second and it only happens when I press J. I can't figure out what's causing this.

    Update required: UltimateBackup. Unstable plugins: RealisticK9IntelligenceResponse, KucheraCallouts, VisualProbableCause. (May cause crashes) Invalid GP Configurations plugins/LSPDFR/GrammarPolice/grammar/en-GENERIC Inside this folder, the listed files will likely be inside "Custom" Remove these files as their plugin is no longer installed: close road.xml. These do NOT belong in GTA V/plugins/LSPDFR! Please reinstall them correctly into your main GTA folder > CalloutInterfaceAPI & Newtonsoft.Json.

    Replied in the developer Discord: The change on June 1st is just the extended APIs (do=getAssemblies,do=getAllVersions) the main users of this (discord bots) have already migrated to the new API. Infact, I'm not seeing any usage from our telemetry data (apart from a really badly misconfigured plugin that is receiving an error response anyway) in the past 24 hours. The legacy check for updates API has been phased out for new files, but for existing files this will be done in staged brownouts later in the year (with better notice). We'll obviously need to assess if it's even viable to completely get rid of, whitelist certain things that break that aren't going to be fixed/etc (although ultimately our hand might be pushed on it at some point - if we have to turn off old TLS versions for a critical security issue for example). If you're using checkForUpdates there will be no change on June 1st. Sorry, my initial post is a little unclear.

  34. Why do you have two mods folders installed? If one of them is empty or not in use, remove it. Then test with the actual mods folder named to _mods and see if it crashes. If it still does even after that, send the log again.

    Just hit ESC, it's a main tab somewhere between "Career", "Online", "Settings" etc... The Tabs you could switch left/right within the Pause Menu.

    It would be extremely helpful to have the creator centre dashboard reinstated, allowing us, the developers, to monitor and manage all of our plugins’ stats from a single, centralised interface.
  41. I had to remove both the ASI (which for me I tried OpenIV) and GTAV.exe to get the RPH to load fully, try removing just GTAV.exe and run Rage and see if it loads.

    Mod Concept: Emergency Scene Vehicle Spawner Here’s how it could work: A simple hotkey or menu function to spawn preset emergency vehicles (police cruisers, fire trucks, etc.) at strategic positions—perfect for blocking intersections or framing a scene. Optional presets or placement templates (e.g., "2 units side-by-side," "angled block," "perimeter") for quick deployment. The spawned vehicles could behave like props—no AI drivers, no scripts—purely for visual immersion. Once Code 4 is called or the player presses a “scene clear” key, the vehicles fade out or vanish smoothly, maintaining immersion. Bonus Enhancements Could Include: Flashing lights and sirens toggled on/off with a keybind for dramatic flair. An option to randomize vehicle models within a category for variety.   45. Easiest method is to find what car GTAV already has in the base game that's your sheriff2 and add that as your handling. You can create a new one as Gelse16 said, but it can be messy if you don't fully know what you're doing. Fastest and easiest approach is to just match the base emergency vehicles. Take a peek in the vehicles.meta and handling.meta to see what they're all using. I think the base models use SHERIFF, FBI, FBI2, POLICE, POLICE2, POLICE3 and PRANGER. Also, make backups/copies of everything before you dabble.

    Hiya, You can indeed decrease the callouts multiplier to change the amount of callouts you receive. I feel with 25 you'll get near to none so I'd suggest trying 150-200 first! Choice is yours 😜
