Hi Jorge i have 2 Problems with your Mod. I have the new Version. The first Problem is why is the Light so very big (see Pic)? And the second Problem is why i must ever chance the on/off Key before the Mod work? When i not change i become ingame a error. What can i do for fix the Problems?

Hi Solo.

You shouldn't have to change the default on/off key for the spotlight to work. This is the first time someone has reported this bug, so I don't know much about it[yet]. I recommend that you look over the value that on/off is set to in the ini file as sometimes people can make a human error and type in a string character instead of a number.

As far as the light object being too large, might be a problem with a value inside VisualSettings.txt in your common/data folder.

Any chance that you are using ENB?

I don't know much about the values in VisualSettings but I'm pretty sure someone here might be able to help you. I believe it has something to do with the light bloom, but i'm not entirely sure[yet]

So any chance for a newer version, or is there a way to enable the spotlight for the coquette and every other car? I tried adding it in the .ini file, but it didn't work.

I will be releasing a new version soon that will let you add it to whatever vehicle you specify in the ini

What I did:

For the Images.txt open the file here:

C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonGrand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty CityEFLCTBoGTcommondataImages.txt

Add the following at the very bottom.

For the "SpotLight.net.dll & spotlight.ini" put those in the:

C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonGrand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty CityEFLCscripts

Lastly for the "spotlight.img" put that in:

C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonGrand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty CityEFLCTBoGTpcmodelscdimages

If neither of these work, Reply and tell me because I might know another way.

I used the suggested way to install the files for EFLC and when I load TBOGT the game crashes as soon as it moves to the loading screen, does anyone know how to fix this ?

loading screen? you mean Loading ...... MISSION and then crashes? did you save while onduty, or any other model than Niko?

As soon as I hit Start the game goes to a black screen then crashes, I am using the Jefferson Parish Mod pack but I saved my game as the main character Luis off duty.

Yeah, check out my new post and try that, it should work. I have EFLC and it works for me. Every now and then though it will not load but you just have to reload your game.

The spotlight mod V1.2(V1 doesnt work either) has stopped working for me, it keeps coming up with the "Lawenforcement" scripthook error. The weird things is that it was working fine when i used it last a couple of days ago and the only changes i made was i imported a new police car into the game, ive tried the scripthook listed in the spotlight d/l link but that didnt work & i deleted spotlight from the folders & reinstalled them but still didnt work...anyone know why its doing it?

Copy Paste? lol Also I think 1 will do in EFLC/pc/models/cdimages, and then ofcourse you have to edit the gta.dat as well.

but if i put a seperate spotlight.img in the TBoGT folder then add the line in the TBoGT images.txt, the game constantly loads, no crashes, just keeps loading.

what need's to be put in the gta.dat?

Put it only in EFLC/pc/models/cdimages, then go to EFLC/common/data and edit the images.txt and add this to the end of the list:

platformimg:/models/cdimages/spotlight 0

No need to do anything with gta.dat

I'm getting the error lawenfocement.spotlight. I think it's something like that. BUt I have used it before.
